Maybe it wasn’t obvious, but he had been staring back at Miyuu. He has seen her in ballgowns & other fine dresses before, but this was one that he wanted to remember. The soft purple & white that matched his own.

“I’ve heard Lilianee hasn’t left you alone all day, her taste in clothes & colors never seems to dull. Tu as l'air céleste, princesse.” He can’t help but compliment her. Miyuu was always so beautiful, & he always thought so, even during the first day they met. “I hear she painted your nails as well, may I see?”

Something, something, Yuki, Miyuu, Bergen & whoever else is in their little group, surviving the zombie apocalypse together. I have this vague idea of Yuki managing to survive only because she got picked up by a caring survivor group in the earlier months of the zombie outbreak, maybe that's Miyuu & Bergen's group? And she'd very much be a sort of character that doesn't like killing, will give living people a hundred chances to change their minds & only kill them if her life is in danger, meanwhile she shreds up zombies left & right because she's mentally tricked herself that these are not people, they are more like enemies in a video game to her. Huzza for coping with trauma in a negative way.

Choice of weapon would be her family's heirloom katana that she took from her family's home after killing her infected & turned parents with it. It's silent & sharp, perfect for cutting off zombie heads & not attaching any more of them fuckers to her location.

As for your other blog... let’s just lock Riliane & Princess Miyuu in a room for a bit. Not literally, but I’m just picturing Miyuu’s dad telling his daughter ‘you must make friends with the ruler of Lucifenia, they might wipe out Wisteria if you don’t!’ & Miyuu is forced to be Riliane’s friend basically. Sweet bean meets fucking murderous psycho, if they actually get along, who knows. But it’s fun torment drama~

What made you want to write Souji? When did you decide to make him more canon divergent? Do you miss PMK roleplayers? What’s your favorite part about writing Souji? How did you come up for the idea for Ayato?

Firstly I had actually watched Hakuouki and had been on a Shinsengumi binge when I was like "I wanna roleplay a Shinsengumi member but no one in Hakuouki is calling to me... Oh I know Imma watch my fave Shinsengumi anime!!" and so I grabbed my boxset of Peacemaker and after watching it it was like.. he was around the corner, peeking out going "...Hijikata-san??" and it was like "YES I WILL PLAY THIS BOY"

He became canon-divergent (or basically canon what canon??) when all the Shinsengumi rpers started falling away. School, work, family, other interests... one by one they started either moving to new characters or leaving the site completely. I was surrounded by OCs and modern muses, and Souji had to adapt to survive in the changing times. In the 8 or so years I've been roleplaying him he's changed quite a bit, but I'd like to think the core parts that make Souji who is remain (even if he doesn't fight nearly as much as he used to)

Boy oh boy PMK rpers are hard to come by!! Even when I started they were. In fact, for a long time, it was just me and @byakushisakura-rp who did any PMK rp. The rest of my Shinsengumi fandom fam were Hakuouki. They were kind enough to adopt my Souji so he has a lot of history with them. I'm lucky to have @youmatou-kaiken still as a PMK rper (and @peacemaking-gunslinger when Izzy isn't busy with things) but many others have fallen away which makes me sad. It's my hope that Chrono-sensei will finish and then they'll re-do the anime like they did FMAB and then canon Souji will be like MY FAMILY HAS RETURNED!!!

My favorite part about writing Souji?? Oh boy, it's that he's so flexible and complex. He's kind but he can be stern. He's loving but he can be cold. He's violent but he doesn't like to fight. He's bold but he's shy. He's slutty but also pure. He's a walking mass of contradictions which makes writing him in different situations so much fun. He's just... he's very real and human.

Oh boy... Ayato came from a long stint of me not feeling good about my writing, of people losing interest in me (all my head btw) and thinking "what can I do??" I wasn't feeling interested in writing but Souji wanted to be out and about, so I devised a scenario. What if he met someone connected to his mother?? It was only meant to be a friend, a connection he didn't have that would lead to more connections so he would get to know more about his family. As I started working with him, however, Souji and Ayato clearly were becoming attracted to each other, and this was before I even finalized my plans. Ayato was never really meant to be involved with Souji in the way he turned out, but you know what?? Sometimes the best things happen when you're being rebelled against lol. It was clear immediately that they were going to be together and so I was like "fuck it they're a thing now..." God, I remember the backlash from that LOL but I don't regret doing it. And since then I've got quite a few NPCs that I write from time to time. It was an attempt to remind myself that I wasn't writing for others, but for myself.
