 GEORGIE DIDN’T REALLY UNDERSTAND  what high school was like  - he was only a child, after all, and had only attended a tiny bit of school in general thanks to the horrendous incident -  but from what he heard from bill each day,  it didn’t sound very fun at all.  (  the innocent little thing still didn’t understand why people would be mean to someone as nice and cool as beverly.  he just adored her.  )  & seeing tears stream down her face nearly broke his  HEART ;  he was glad to hear her agreement,  as he hastily approached her,  winding his arm around  her frame and squeezing her tight.  “it’s okay to cry, you know?” it was something that’d been told to him so, so many times in the past year of rehabilitation.  seeing beverly like this,  georgie thought he was beginning to understand what that meant.

                    It had been  t o o  l o n g  —— it almost physically ached to be apart from her now. Despite a hint of jealousy ( she had a life outside of Derry, had escaped the place that would forever be a ghost to him ), the jubilation it brought in her life was something he’d NEVER take away from her. Bill simply learned to appreciate the time they did have ( && would continue to save && save until he could afford a ticket perhaps to Portland ). “Well I hope I’ve ch-change A LITTLE bit,” he quips, voice gruff,  l o w  as puberty seems to have finally settled. Destined for height, he’s almost not quite as lanky, arms building up a little more muscle, height more evenly distributed.

          His crooked smirk —— something that would NEVER change dawns over him, happily lacing their fingers together. He remembers a time when he felt like he’d get sick just holding her hand     /     plagued by NERVES. Now it was easy, instinctual. He raises an arm over && around her shoulder, tugging her close to his side as they walk towards the Paramount. 

                   “Well, turns out I’m just as m-mu-much of a  l o s e r  as I once was. So there’s n-no need to worry about that. I’ll be in the losers’ club my whole life. But you ??” Brows arch, the pointer finger of his free hand tapping ‘long defined chin. “I don’t know ‘bout that. You don’t look like a loser to me. In fact, everyone’s pro-probably wondering what you’re doing with someone like me.” His smirk only widens, cheeks puffing out as he squeezes her hand. @fearlacking  //  CON’T.
