Limbus Company Tarot Symbolism
I can't believe no one has thought of this before, but the Sinners follow the Major Arcana of the Tarot. Except they don't after a certain point, and I feel that gap is interesting and potentially important.
0 The Fool: Yi Sang
1 The Magician: Faust
2 The High Priestess: Don Quixote
3 The Empress: Ryoshu
4 The Emperor: Meursault
5 The Hierophant: Hong Lu
6 The Lovers: Heathcliff
7 The Chariot: Ishmael
8 Strength: Rodion
9 The Hermit: ....Dante?
10 The Wheel of Fortune: ...Sinclair?
11 Justice: Outis
12 The Hanged Man: Gregor
Assuming a basic knowledge of Tarot symbolism, the pattern is pretty self-evident. Like Yi Sang is the fool, right down to going off the cliff at the end of his story, and boy is that Gregor *ever* a Hanged Man (pause, surrender, letting go; inverted: delays, stalling, indecision).
However, Sinclair is a much better fit for Hermit. His default EGO even features the signature staff and lantern, albeit leaning against his chair and hanging from the ceiling, respectively. Upright, it means Soul-searching, introspection, being alone, inner guidance; inverted, it means Isolation, loneliness, withdrawal.
Meanwhile, Fortune is a far better fit for Dante. Not just because of the visual symbolism of their clock. Upright, it means good luck, karma, life cycles, destiny, and a turning point. Inverted, it means bad luck, resistance to change, and breaking cycles. All of which fits for our beloved Manager.
Couple that with the fact that Sinclair's number has been altered on his coat, it suggests that these two actually were swapped. But why?
Well, one of the other, older meanings of the Hermit is treason. If Sinclair is supposed to be the Hermit instead, then that could mean that we should be looking closer at him instead of Outis and Gregor as a potential traitor.

Dante, Stars and “Going Back”
So in reference to this post I have finally put together a comprehensive analysis on the star abnos and the “going back/going to” theme and how it relates to Dante
Dante is based off two characters, Dante Alighieri from The Divine Comedy, and the Aviator from The Little Prince. In The Divine Comedy, Dante travels through hell and purgatory to reach Beatrice in heaven. In The Little Prince, the Aviator crashes his plane in the desert and must fix it in order to return to human civilisation. The Little Prince himself has also landed on Earth and towards the end of the book wishes to return to his home planet and his rose. The similarity here is that they are journeying to somewhere, going through a place unsuitable for human life in order to reach the place they want to go (in the cases of Dante and the Little Prince, that place has something dear to them waiting for their arrival)
In the game, Dante is very heavily associated with stars (“the fallen nebula/the one who fell from the skies” as well as the whole Dante’s star thing. Sansón also straight up says “so that the fallen nebulae’s homeward journey to the star may not be veiled in shadows”) and what’s interesting is that I’ve noticed that the star abnos (Blue Star, Star Luminary and Blue-ish Star to a lesser extent) have a theme of going “to that place/to a star” Ripped directly from Blue Star’s logs:
“our Blue Star is the only sanctuary that accepts us. We will be cleansed of our sins there. We all go back to that place someday”
and
“You thought Emily died when she threw herself into the Star, but she simply returned to her rightful place. She's a martyr. She has become an eternal star.”
I would like to add here that the Little Prince returns to his home planet in the original book by dying, and before he dies he tells the Aviator “When you look up at the sky at night, since I’ll be living on one of them, since I’ll be laughing on one of them, for you it’ll be as if all the stars are laughing. You’ll have stars that can laugh!”
Star Luminary’s MD event also refers to going back to “that place”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Blue-ish Star doesn’t explicitly say it like the other two, but the MD event says “When you try to go near, your body is pushed away. And yet, it is so, so blue. You wish to have that color. The irresistible allure is almost tearing you apart.” expressing a very clear desire to go to that star but again this is a weaker connection.
Now this would be where it ends right? Wrong, because there’s one more abnormality to speak about here, and that’s Dimensional Orbit Stabiliser
I have spoken about Dimensional Orbit Stabiliser before and its connections to Dante, but I’m bringing it up again to revisit the “I pity the one that binds” check success:
Tumblr media
The ‘bindings’ are the Sinners that are keeping Dante in Inferno. “I wanted to be lighter” can be read as “I wanted to let everything go” because in the prologue, Dante attempts to engrave the Aspect and then wipe their memories, completely forgetting their life in the City, which is comparable to Dante drinking from Lethe to wipe his memories and cleanse his sins so he came enter Paradiso with Beatrice. But Dante can’t enter Paradiso, because they still need to go through Inferno, they wish to have the weight of those sins removed so they can return to the stars, to paradise, where they came from. Star Luminary links into this because “I’m just waving my arms around and emitting a blue glow to become a star myself” can be seen as blindly fumbling on their journey through Hell going along with Limbus’s plans to try and regain their memories and engrave their Aspect.
I have spoken about the connection between God and stars before on the Demian conspiracy board, but to recap the Divine Comedy describes God as “a love that moves the stars” the novel Demian features a god, Abraxas, made of stars. Not to mention the employees in Blue Star’s logs view and worship it as a God, so returning to that star can be seen as returning to God. The way Demian speaks to Dante like he knows them, it can be inferred that they’ve met before, and are possibly from the same ‘place’ that they are both trying to return to.

LIMBUS SINNER TAROT ANALYSIS
II. Faust-- The High Priestess
Oh it is time for Faust.
This is the second entry in my Limbus Tarot series. Part one, concerning Yi Sang, is found here and comes with an introduction to this series.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This entry will contain a bit of speculation, since Faust's canto is 40 years away. This post will contain Faust info from Murder on the Warp Express, so beware of spoilers.
The High Priestess is, across decks, interpreted as representing the hidden, underlying truths. She represents "Clairvoyance"(Faust knows all outcomes) and "Silent wisdom" per the Inversion Tarot, "Secrets, Mystery," and "science" according to Rider-Waite. Inversion of the High Priestess features being "secretive" and "conceit" respectively, to which I will draw a connection with Faust's ego and tendency to keep secrets from the other sinners.
The Inversion Tarot also lists "Intuition, instinct." I find this interesting as we have seen Faust grow to accept uncertainty when disconnected from "Faust Prime". She begins to use less cerebral forms of knowing.
I'll look more to The Qabalistic Tarot:
"...the Path of The High Priestess may be somewhat disconcerting. It is as if the Supreme Mother[The Empress] has removed her smiling mask, to reveal her true face, which is cold and expressionless, though beautiful"
Tumblr media
"The thirteenth path named the Uniting Intelligence, and is so called because it is itself the Essence of Glory. It is the consummation of the Truth of individual spiritual things"
I see here a parallel to Faust being a 2e autistic system as a united entity that exists beyond each mirror world.
I'll also posit my baby theory that Faust is also Beatrice, Dante's guide through during Paradiso. I've not read The Divine Comedy so I am to rely on Wikipedia and what I've gleamed from reading Umineko. Beatrice enlists the help of Vergillius to guide Dante through Hell, taking over where he cannot cross as a Pagan. Characteristics of The Divine Comedy's Beatrice match Faust somewhat-- "She frequently corrects Dante during his journey, acting as a spiritual guide and source of wisdom...Beatrice is encouraging and patient towards Dante, taking joy in his gradual progress". She also is noted for "digressions on multiple academic subjects."
I first came to this theory due to Faust's insistence that she is specifically a "genius"-- the (I'm about to cite Wikipedia again) "individual instance of a general divine nature that is present in every individual person, place, or thing...the genius would follow each man from the hour of his birth until the day he died"
Considering that Limbus Company is originally written in Korean, this last point may be too much of a stretch. Nonetheless, I will hold my theory that Faust is linked to Beatrice in some way. Also-- did you know that the feminine form of genius was "juno"? :3c
Additionally, Sally Gearhart and Susan Rennie's A Feminist Tarot describes The High Priestess as "the unconquered, the lesbian, the witch" :)oh yeah

Stars in Limbus Company
Tumblr media
Spoilers for all of Limbus
Stars in Limbus are one of the first things mentioned, and one of the most significant things in the story. As mentioned in this post, stars themselves are extremely important and powerful entities in the Project Moon universe, so let's see if we can't extrapolate some meaning from them.
First off, let's go over the major revelation given at the end of Canto 7, because it helps clarify a lot of earlier moments and helps setup my main theory about everyone's favorite amnesiac protagonist.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For clarification, a nebula is defined as such by NASA. A nebula is a giant cloud of dust and gas in space. Some nebulae (more than one nebula) come from the gas and dust thrown out by the explosion of a dying star, such as a supernova. Other nebulae are regions where new stars are beginning to form. I think the words Sanson uses aren't just esoteric to seem fancy. I think he uses the words nebulae and sovereign because both describe the individual they're talking about succinctly.
Thanks to Demian's constant requests of Dante for their drawing of a sheep, we know this conversation is about them in particular. The plural wording does mean that Sanson's 'shining light' mission involves more than just them, so put a pin in that. For now, let's focus on Dante.
While Demian's wording merely implies Dante fell from the sky, Sanson's wording implies a lot of things about Dante's origins and their role. I believe Sanson is using the later definition, as it helps explain one of Dante's key features, their amnesia regarding everything within the city once their clock head is put on.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's only when Dante repeats this specific phrase that they really lose themselves, though losing their original head seems to have done them no favors.
It's my belief that the 'Dante' we know is, in fact, a newborn star that is subsuming the original Dante's existence, and will eventually serve as a 'soverign' of the original star. That is to say, one that exercises supreme control originating from a nation. This would explain a lot of... peculiarities regarding them, and let's go over each thing it solves.
First off is Dante's uncanny ability to determine between Distortions, Abnormalities, and Other entities. We've seen it numerous times throughout the story, and it's something that Faust speculates is thanks to the Golden Boughs. However, I think it's also possible that this is a inherent ability to Dante.
The explanation for this is that Dante themselves is an entity outside the normal range of humanity, and thus can have senses beyond what is considered 'normal'. This is even supported by Child of the Galaxy, whose sight appears to extend to their pebbles and grants them a level of sight unheard of. It's possible Dante's sight works in a similar manner, even comparable to shrimp seeing far more colors than humans.
Furthermore is Dante's revival ability. As explained previously, rebirth is a major theme of Stars in the Project Moon universe, so Dante being able to bring back the dead sinners would fit right in with something like Child of the Galaxy converting people to pebbles or Blue Star's more esoteric 'rebirth'.
However, it's my belief that Dante themselves is a baby star, and for the reasoning behind that we'd need look no further than Chapter 4's Tearful Thing, and the origins behind it.
Tumblr media
The Tearful Thing is fairly different from other Star entities we've seen before, but it's effects are undeniable alien and bizarre. It's tears' ability to 'revert humanity to a more primal state' is somewhat similar to the rebirth given by Child of the Galaxy, but the biggest factor towards it's status as an infant Star are it's origins and what Alfonso says about it being an infant.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Tearful Thing was found by Stephanette in the Outskirts, and we likely get to see how it was specifically born. From a boy staring up at the sky and stars, and having a wish in mind.
This matches a lot of what we know from the stories in Lobotomy Corporation. The sanity draining effects Fragment of the Universe has are eerily similar to how one could describe the boy's effects before he disappears, and the rebirth effect matches with how Blue Star followers describe the entity itself.
Sinclair and Faust put it best in the cutscene directly following the one where we see the birth of the Tearful Thing.
Tumblr media
The followers of Blue Star weren't as insane as one might think.
Dante themselves seems to follow the story we see with countless others. Dante gazes at the star in the distance, repeats their wish of 'following the star', and suddenly has amnesia and incredible powers.
Now, obviously this leads to the question of why Dante isn't a complete abomination like the Tearful Thing or Blue Star. The answer in my mind is a few different sources. First off, let's go over Alfonso's own words about the Tearful Thing.
Tumblr media
This implies that the Tearful Thing is merely a child of the real entity they found in the Outskirts, and that it's grown up in the time between Stephanette and Alfonso.
In fact, I've believe we've seen numerous stages of this life-cycle in game, and I think Dante is one of the youngest entities we get to see. If they're not even the actual youngest. Let's go over another important character introduced in Limbus...Star Luminary.
Tumblr media
Star Luminary is an entity far closer to the sights of the Tearful Thing and Blue Star, and it directly references the latter in it's text. It's 'Luminary' name also holds distinct meanings, all of which can apply to it. An object, such as a celestial body, that gives light. In astrology, one of the brightest celestial objects, such as the sun, moon, or bright planets. A person who inspires others or achieves eminence in a field.
The first definition seems to fit cleanly with it's first text box choice, where you successfully pass the check to say the orbs in it's hands are marbles. That being the following, and what I believe most in the Project Moon universe think about stars.
Tumblr media
This reads to me as denying the actual truth of the situation, and shows off the ignorance of the City at large to the truth of the celestial bodies above them. Mere glowing lights in the night.
The second box I think shows off the origin points of the Stars, before they were created by humans. This is when you fail the former check, and thus do not have the lust or pride in oneself to successfully do it, and are thus convinced they are more than mere objects emitting light.
Tumblr media
It's wording seems to show an immense knowledge of the stars. The origin of the Stars are the nebulae in the sky. Mere speckles of light floating in the dark. However, what makes them 'capital s' Stars is the thoughts and wishes that each person etches onto their heart, giving them power. Similar to how stereotypical fae gain power from names, the Stars seem to gain power from the wishes and hopes that each person holds in them, and are birthed from these very wishes.
It even directly references Blue Star, which seems to indicate Star Luminary is an advanced version of the Blue Star cultists from Ruina, who has now achieved even more of it's celestial power.
Next is when you agree with the Star Luminary, and this is where I think the final definition of Luminary comes into play. "A person who inspires others or achieves prominence or superiority."
Tumblr media
This is where I think the first half of the Luminary definition comes into play. Star Luminary's words directly call out that you want to return to that place, and gives you a blue star in return. It's actively inspiring you to become a acolyte of Blue Star, and showing off it's Luminary abilities there.
Tumblr media
This is where the other half comes into play, and where I think it can be neatly defined as a adolescent/teenaged star comes into play. It admits with sadness that it can no longer simply go back to the Blue Star anymore like the other acolytes of Blue Star, but is actively becoming a new star.
This admission of becoming a new Star in the sky is fairly unique, and neatly completes Stars in Project Moon. So let's go over the full life cycle of a Star.
Stars can be formed in Project Moon in two ways. Either by wishing upon the lights in the sky like the unnamed boy or Dante, or becoming a follower like Blue Star acolytes or even Fragment of the Universe. The former costs the memories of the individual, while the latter costs your sanity and former ideals. From there, a young star advances in their abilities by becoming more and more powerful. We see this directly through Star Luminary and even the supposed power of the original Tearful Thing. Along the way, one naturally makes a choice. Either they are subsumed into the original Star, or become a new one. We see this with Blue Star's acolytes and Star Luminary. The Blue Star acolytes seen in Ruina and read about in Lobotomy Corporation all end up becoming a part of Blue Star, likely growing it's power through their wishes and desires, or more pragmatically (and unlikely, given Luminary's wording) being born in their image like the Blue Star cultists claim. Luminary, however, outgrew the ability to be subsumed, and is thus destined to become a new star.
This brings me all the way back to Demian and Sanson's conversation about Dante. Unpin that note about the plurality of nebulae, because here's where it comes into play for Sanson.
Tumblr media
Sanson's main goal here seems to be to round up every acolyte and get them to their original Stars, while preventing the sane individuals from undergoing the life cycle of a Star. This appears very noble, as the subsuming presence of Stars and their cults seems like a major threat that even the Head could be scared of, considering how much they discourage exploring the Outskirts.
However.
This means essentially feeding Dante to an eldritch abomination, and I don' think anyone particularly wants that. Additionally, I've yet to analyze Demian's whole place in this, and I believe he has his own selfish goals and motivations for all of this messing about with Stars and Mirror Worlds.
But that analysis of Demian will have to wait for another day.
(thanks to @lu-is-not-ok for inspiring abno analysis, and by proxy getting me to analyze Star Luminary's text.)

the sun rises.
I am Don Quixote. My formal title is The Manager of La Manchaland.
Limbus Company's Eclipsed division had need of someone responsible and headstrong. I would not dare abandon my family, yet, in reality, I was given little choice. I am now 'Sinner #2.'
This, henceforth, shall become my primary form of contact with both humans and Kindred alike--though I greatly prefer correspondence from family over that of humans.
The box of asks is open. Keep your words succinct and meaningful. There is much to be done to rescue my brothers and sisters from the cesspool in which they live. I have not the time to answer your questions.
...But I will anyway.

--
Carmilla, the Manager for the Limbus Company Taxi Division. She’s leaning towards violence as the first solution for everything, but over the course of the journey, she becomes pretty open to democracy before killing.
She is one to speak softly, hardly raising her voice unless she’s attempting to assert her authority as the Manager. Unlike Dante, she has a semblance of a spine right from the get-go.
Carmilla herself is a Bloodfiend, and although she’s not particularly concerned with keeping that a secret, she will not say it outright. Has no Family to speak of, but her thirst is satiated with regular consumption of blood sponsored by Limbus Company, though she is also perfectly capable of consuming regular food and drink, but doing so will not satiate her needs as well as blood does.
Being the Manager, she’s pretty meticulous in her work, keeping detailed logs on their goings-on and sorting out the required paperwork that she keeps in her own office, which is a mess all on its own. An organized mess where she knows where everything is, she’d call it.
Carmilla, like Dante, has her own abilities as a bloodfiend to stitch her sinners back together after death, manipulating their blood to an extent that she allows herself to (or, rather, how much her contract with Limbus Company allows her) as well as bleeding herself to make up for what they lost.
Age: [REDACTED.]
Height: 5’4’’ / 165 centimeters.
Weight: 57 kg / 125.7 lbs Color code: #581838 Wine Berry. Notable features: Red eyes, freckles, and a mole on her neck.

the "hear me out..." tierlist
this post is not to rank any "hear me out" character as more or less attractive than any other, more to illustrate a frame of reference for the acceptability of sexualizing a character.
tier 1: attractive human
these are characters/people that are conventionally attractive/lack any strong points of deviation from standard attractiveness, or if said points exist they are outweighed by points that fall within beauty standards.
examples: daphne from scooby-doo, zagreus from hades, wyll from baldur's gate (i think. i haven't played it but thats a fairly normal man)
tier 2: [less] normal human
these are characters/people that are noticably not human, but not to the point of being instantly disgusting/uncanny/terrifying. they could probably appear human with a bit of makeup and/or filing of nails, hiding of extra body parts, etc.
this tier also includes characters that, while not concentionally attractive, are still human in appearance and don't have a lot of unattractive features, or human characters that can fit into a popular category/archetype of attractiveness (i.e. bears, milfs, "tumblr sexymen" and adjacents)
examples: lady dimitrescu from resident evil, senshi from delicious in dungeon, zangief from street fighter, scott from monster prom, connor from detroit: become human
tier 3: attractive non-humans and non-traditionally attractive humans
if a character is permanently sporting significant animal features like fur/scales/feathers on most of their body, animal head and/or feet, then they go in tier three. same goes for attractive object heads. as long as they still have a human body plan with slight cosmetic changes, they can fit. what is human on these characters could be commonly considered attractive, i.e. muscular build, curvy, cute face, etc.
for humans, these characters are just not what is normally found hot and do not neatly fit into common archetypes/niches of attractiveness.
examples: sybil from pseudoregalia, dante from limbus company, professor ochanomizu from astro boy
tier 4: niche furries, highly mechanical robots
characters with vaguely humanoid body plans, but very little that would make them attractive to most humans.
examples: V1 from ultrakill, garchomp from pokemon, fumiquiline quan from utau
tier 5: not human/human shaped at all
characters that are wholly inanimate, wholly animal, or otherwise inanimate in appearance.
examples: A.M. from "i have no mouth and i must scream," tod from disney's "the fox and the hound," the map from "dora the explorer"

Limbus Tamers
The limbus brainrot is terminal and digimon has been worming its way back so why not combine the two together. I’m not the biggest Digimon nerd (mainly watched some Adventure, 02 and Tamers and played Digimon world 3 and Cybersleuth) so I’ve been using Wikimon to help with the evolution lines, while  yes I could just mix and max anything I tried to use Digimon that actually evolve into one another.
I may do another one with Dante, Charon and Vergilius plus any Sinner I want revisit. So onward to my dubious picks!
Tumblr media
For Yi Sang I chose this line mostly for his desire to have wings and his association with crows. Plus Yatagaramon is cool.
Tumblr media
For Faust I focused on her witch imagery, what with her base E.G.O. giving her a broom and her codename being Walpurgisnacht, and her vast knowledge with Impmon being a stand in for Mephistopheles (I know Mephismon exist I already had settled on witchmon and needed a rookie). AncientWisemon could have gone to Yi Sang since he invented the mirror we use to pull the gacha but it still have that sorcerer vibe.
Tumblr media
For La Creatura I settled for the Guilmon line mostly because Gallantmon/Dukemon, being a Royal Knight, fitted with her knightly delusions and also because I remember Guilmon going feral at some points in Tamers. Plus if we go for Dark Digivolutions, when Don completely snaps she could go down the Megidramon (or even ChaosDukemon) route similarly to Takato.
Tumblr media
I hesitated a bit with Ryoshu so I ended doing both ideas: I kinda cobbled this one together trying to concile her ties to fire (her E.G.O inflict burn, the “cooking” of the Kebab and that one picture of her burning everything using as her steed) and art with Etemon being a singer and Piedmon being a clown (and circus artist in general).  Plus the Dark Master have throwing knives/swords.
Tumblr media
This one was more was more based on her swordplay and the fact she’s ... ok maybe not “honourable” but she’d rather not do it the “coward’s way”, she straight up refused to disguise herself during the casino heist and wanted to face the Shi assassin head on in Canto IV. So Musyamon popped into my mind and then went up the evo line to try and keep the samurai/ronin theme and Kunemon is here because I couldn’t use Kotemon as it doesn’t digivolve into Musyamon.
Tumblr media
Mr Salt got the Andromon line because he’s very robotic at times, a cog in the machine if you will, plus he is a tank of a man so Guardromon fits well. Also I thought it would be funny if somehow the machine Digimon ended up being more prone to make judgements than its human partner.
Tumblr media
I didn’t know where to go with Hong Lu, I tried with the Devas and little more with Lopmon’s line then I saw QueenChessmon and went “Chess is pastime for hoity-toity rich folk and Hong Lu is a rich boy” and went from there. Not really satisfied but it just clicked in the moment. ... If Hong Lu is playing some 5d chess with us I SWEAR TO -
Tumblr media
Another double feature with the other sinner with double seats privilege ... this was completely incidental. This one is based on the brutish side of Heathcliff though Ogremon can be cunning as can our angry british. Titamon is also connected to revenge (specifically against the Olympos XII) so it fits as well. I know Rebellimon doesn’t digivolve to Titamon but fuck it ! I didn’t want Digitamamon on here and that’s the only exception I made, I just wanted to keep mean green demon all the way.
Tumblr media
This one came frame from a flash about Telepole Heathcliff and since He’s a bastard I couldn’t him give a regular Gabumon.
Tumblr media
I just had to give Fishmael a Whamon because of Moby Dick. As for the rest: I picked Gomamon because I thought it’d be funny to have a laid back partner with how rigid she can be; Dolphmon to transition between Gomamon and Whamon and Plesiomon because it’s a traditional Mega for Gomamon alongside Vikemon.
Tumblr media
I must admit being stumped and just going “Waifumon go !”. Might revisit her with a more fitting line sometime.
Tumblr media
For Sinclair at first I wanted to give him an avian line then stumbled upon Tsukaimon digivolving into Pidmon and went “time to go the angel route” as a spin on Patamon. Outside of MagnaAngemon (and Angewomon for that matter) I tried not to use Adventure/02 digimon. I picked Dominimon but hesitated between it, ClavisAngemon and SlashAngemon.
Tumblr media
For Outism I first wanted to have an Olympos XII member then wondered whether or not there was a trojan horse digimon, Lo and behold there was ! As for the rest I worked my way down : Cherrymon being a duplicitous tree (he tried to manipulate Yamato during the Dark Master arc) fit Outis being suspicious, kiwimon is kind of a filler pick and Alraumon is a fake Palmon.
Tumblr media
Finally for Gregor I picked the Wormmon line though with some changes. I chose Snimon instead of Stingmon to harken to G Corp Gregor and while there’s a roachmon I felt it was too on the nose. As for Bloomlordmon I hesitated with going with GranKuwagamon or HeraclesKabuterimon but leaned more on this one mainly to distance a bit from bugs since Gregor has two plant based E.G.O.
That should be it for now.

This blog will be low-activity && I do often tend to post OOC frequently ( headcanons, verses thoughts, dash games, etc. ), while all OOC posts will be tagged, I do feel the need to give forewarning.
RP is exclusively a hobby for me on top of having ADHD, so it may take a long time for me to reply, this doesn't mean I'm not interested ! Likewise, I will never rush or expect quick ( or any ) response ! DMs are always open if you want to nudge me or if you want to plot.
Typical RP etiquette, i.e. avoiding godmodding / meta / force ship / etc., will be expected during threads, but this is flexible given the nature of the City. Overall, if there's any uncertainty, communication or plotting is my go-to.
Bigotry of any kind will not be tolerated. I tend to have good faith, but I will not tolerate repeated offenses && block accordingly. This includes any form of zionism, which will result in an immediete block.

Its Limbus Friday again, hooray!
I think its cool that Rodion's EGO background and dialogue really helps gives sense why she got Fourth Match Flame. Maybe she'll get Frost Splinter as well?
Also official Limbus Twitter posted new art:

God I hope goofy Dante is canon in Limbus. I cherish the thought that the all powerful time keeper with a clock for a head that manages a Suicide Squad-style deadly team is actually a goofball. And unlike Hong-lu who does it accidentally I hope Dante gets on to the sinners' nerves knowing they can't kill him since he's too important to the company.

Limbus Company chapter focuses theorizing
75.  So, basically, with a bit of info from the TGS, we’ve seen the names of, and images related to, Limbus’s three first three chapters.
Chapter 1 is named “Nightmare”, and features a Smoke War battlefield. It takes place in D Corp’s Nest/District 4′s Backstreets.
Chapter 2 is named “Sin” or “Crime” depending on how you translate it, and it features that icy citadel/cathedral we saw in the initial trailer. It’s in J Corp’s Nest/District 10′s Backstreets.
Chapter 3 is named “Incubation” and features a pink mountain. It’s in K Corp’s Nest/District 11′s Backstreets. Now then, it’s pretty easy to connect the first two to existing Sinners. The Smoke War has two candidates, and all info has given us that Gregor will be the focus of the first chapter. The second is also easy-ice, the chapter being named “Crime”, being in J Corp, the Nest of gambling, indicates that Rodion’s going to be Chapter 2. The third is a little harder, but a combination of a pattern and a link makes it easier.
You see, the Limbus Company Twitter, revealed the Sinners’s names and key artwork in an order. An order that the first two chapters follow wholeheartedly. The third Sinner was Sinclair. From there, we can note that “Incubation” can refer to an egg, which is Sinclair’s personal symbol. Extrapolating, here is the full chapter order of the Sinners, in theory:
1. Gregor 2. Rodion 3. Emil Sinclair 4. Yi Sang 5. Ishmael 6. Heathcliff 7. Don Quixote 8. Hong Lu 9. Ryoshu 10. Meursault 11. Outis 12. Faust 13. Dante
Of course this is all just conjecture and theory, I could be completely off the mark. What are your thoughts on this theory?
