One of my favorite transformers fics suggested that Cybertronians would not agree on whether organic species could truly be considered alive. Because Cybertronians would naturally determine whether something was alive based on the presence or absence of a spark, something organic species don't have.

I know what you mean because I've seen that in a fic somewhere too but I can't recall which fic rn😔

I generally feel like there's interesting conversations there between various cybertronian characters and human characters (and where it becomes incredibly super obvious that organics ARE definitely alive)
