A few days ago i found out Noggin (that tv network) had a mascot before moose and zee named feetface and oh my god they are so cute i had to draw them

Happy 70th birthday Doug Preis

Today is retired voice actor's Doug Preis' 70th birthday. Yes, you heard that right. THE voice of of Noggin's very first mascot and host, Phred (with a "ph"). I love Phred. He's not as popular as Moose and Zee or even Feetface, but I personally like him more thanks to his brand of comedy, his theme song both at the beginning and when he's introducing the kid of the day, and him insisting to viewers that HE'S NOT A PICKLE!!!

Aside from Phred, we also voiced Mr. Funnie from Doug, Thundarr the Barbarian from Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law, Redolfo from PB&J Otter, Lynx-O and Alluro from 1985's Thundercats, as well as being the announcer of Cartoon Network from 2002 to '04.
