I saw there are a lot of forest fire in chile right now. are you gonna be okay?
Three days after the fact, yeah, I'll be fine, personally and physically, but it's dire, I'm not going to lie. I've never seen so much fire in my life. When you think about a big fire, your impression might be two or three buildings on fire with some firefighter trucks spraying water at it. This was kilometers upon kilometers of raging blazes. Kilometers. Heads up if you are sensitive to these kinds of posts, this isn't a happy one.
Entire hills on fire. Lush green hills reduced to ash and smoke.
Not to mention the urban parts that got hit badly
The official death toll keeps increasing each passing hour as they clear up the rubble and ruins and find more corpses. People I know lost everything. Some people I know lost their loved ones. Dogs are eating corpses on the street because they haven't picked them up yet, so you have neighbors warding off said dogs. Bodies get picked up too badly burned, eaten, decomposed, or a mix thereof to be identified.
It's a tragedy. It all reeks of smoke, there's ash everywhere.
It was sudden, it was brutal. Seeing elderly survivors wondering "what's next for me? I don't have enough years left among the living to rebuild all I lost, all I worked for throughout my life, gone like that" breaks my heart. The government is offering all sorts of aid, but there's also people whose documents, like ID and other identifying documentation, was lost in the fire, so they have to get re-issued an ID before they can actually start filing for aid. The SML (Servicio Médico Legal) is oversaturated with all that's suddenly on their plate and can't return the bodies of people to their families yet, and these are all people that still need food, shelter, hygiene, and so on after the fact. Seeing the logistical nightmare that becomes life after you lose everything firsthand from other people is sobering and painful. Yeah, they survived, but what comes next? It's a sense of uncertainty that is smothering and asphyxiating, it's hopelessness.
I apologize if I come across as dramatic, especially so as someone who was luckily not affected, but it really, really has been heartbreaking to witness, especially from very up close, as I was there, and it's one thing to know of a tragedy that happened elsewhere, maybe even in your own country, but elsewhere, and it's a whole other beast to have seen it directly as it unfolded.
Keep Chile in your thoughts. If you are able to, please consider donating to Desafío Levantemos Chile, to my knowledge the only drive that accepts Paypal, thus, foreign donations, to help the various efforts to rebuild and aid those affected. Desafío Levantemos Chile dates back to 2010, when Chile got hit by a devastating earthquake, and is an NGO that bases its continued existence in being able to provide aid during catastrophes such as this one.

Macron is a failed actor?
He met his wife in a theatre workshop in school and he overall is described as someone who thinks of himself as a comedian. He 100% is a failed actor.

watch out tho, a lot of the jokes are hard to translate so the quality of the dub/sub is gonna matter a lot.
Je t'adore, mon ami, mais je parle francais haha
So, I think Asterix specifically, I'll be okay on. Though, I WILL keep an eye on the English subs if Ari watches it with me.

what are your opinions on the different weapons you tested? and are there weapons you'll give a try in the future?
Right, my weapon journey!
I started with Longsword and Bow, for I wanted to make sure the samurai would eat slop no more. I mainly used Bow and had a great time with it, particularly enjoying shooting Dragonpiercers from tip to toe, and dipped in Longsword to practice my melee. Longsword was fun, but I didn't get MH combat enough to truly do more than Spam My Big Moves, which felt Bad. I dipped into Dual Blades after a while, and it IS fun but it's also too simple and I thought I was going to develop bad habits without properly Learning first. SO, then I landed on Charge Blade, attracted by its resource management and ability to both do fast slugging in sword and shield form, to then capitalize with the Big Axe form.
And here's where something Magical Happened to me: I loved Charge Blade! I REALLY love Charge Blade and I learned a lot from having access to both a Quick and a Slow form, it taught me both rhythms and how they interact with enemy attacks, and the thing is, what I learned the most from Charge Blade besides this, is exactly how powerful Longsword is.
I was constantly thinking "Longsword has a tool for this" when playing Charge Blade. That's not to say Charge Blade is lacking, in fact, I think it's a phenomenal weapon, but the tools Longsword offer are more apt to my playstyle of being very aggressive while having a counter to fall back on, as well as allowing something like Soulsborne poking gameplay: The two first overheads of its normal combo are great moves to hit and run! So I started doing hit and runs while learning new monsters, and when I had a good gauge of how they fight and what moves are exploitable for counters, I'd drop the hit and run and go full aggressive and try to drill in those counter timings, and using the lessons from Charge Blade to play a good Longsword that properly used all its tools.
I want to try all weapons! Next one I want to try is Dual Blades Now That I Have Good Habits, and Hammer. I did try Lance a bit and I liked it! But again, I want the best habits first before having such a powerful defensive weapon that lets me block and counter things as easily as Lance, but it's super simple and I love its straightforwardness, plus, I think the charging jump attack is phenomenal since it does mount damage, allowing for easy mounts where most other weapons can't get those off.
I tend to use all options in games eventually -- I played all classes competently in TF2 for instance, despite having mains in Heavy and Demoman -- so it's a matter of time more than a matter of if.

Maybe someone already asked, but which Monster Hunter armors do you like the most (both in term of skills and design.)
Skills, I like Deviljho having Speed Eater, Latent Power, and Handicraft. Also like it designwise.
Nargacuga armor is great, love the look, love the Crit centric skills.
Teostra for Master’s Touch, heeheehoohoo.
Almudron armor is cool looking, as is Xeno’jiva.
I rocked Rathian armor for a long time.
Rajang armor is super nice.
Stygian Zinogre armor is so fucking good.
Frostfang Barioth has my second favorite armor.
My favorite, though, is Odogaron. Crit skills, sheath skills, best designs among all.

any expectations/predictions about the DLC you might like to share, Mr Dreamo?
(This is about the Elden Ring DLC)
My expectations are very high, because FromSoft has always done their very best on DLCs to their games, due to a strong internal culture of taking in criticisms of their base games and trying to rectify them while elevating their base, solid formula. It's why they tend to take a while with DLC: They don't immediately go into DLC development as soon as their base game ends, at least not in full (they likely do conceptual groundwork and all the sundry parts you don't really need a lot of feedback for, like world assets and such), they always take their sweet time cranking out those bad boys, and it always feels like they address the weaknesses of their base games in their DLC.
So to hear that this is the biggest expansion they've ever produced as a company is not surprising at all: Elden Ring is, by far, their biggest game. And not only that, they managed to make an open world game that actually feels full. Miyazaki mentioned in an interview that the DLC map will be as big, if not bigger, than Limgrave, and Limgrave in terms of size alone is like a fourth of the base game, so That's Pretty Impressive (though... Is he counting the Weeping Peninsula in there? WP is part of Limgrave so I assume he is but there was no specificity). There's also apparently 8 new equipment categories, which is kind of insane to me? Likely they'll have 1-3 weapons each obviously but making 8 new equipment types is also pretty ambitious. We saw Dueling Shields, and we've heard rumors of odachi as well (Walmart Mortal Blade real?), and I will be cautious in my enthusiasm and assume it won't be 8 new weapon types specifically (probably some kooky meme items there like the double door shields or some gimmick torch with attacks from DS3, wouldn't be Fromsoft without clown nose equipment) but new weapon types outright is in fact a perfect way to revitalize a game further. All I want is for the new weapons to be relatively easily accessed for new characters instead of necessarily an endgame or NG+ deal unless you're willing to kill endgame bosses with a very low level character so we can do full NG runs with these new toys (see: Moonlight Greatsword runs or Rakuyo runs in Bloodborne. Have fun REALLY learning Ludwig and Maria on no-hit formats! Hope you brought plenty Fire and Bolt Paper, respectively!)
And my biggest hope, perhaps even cope, is that the triple flying kicks we saw in the trailer are Martial Arts weapons and not just an Ash of War. If the Bone Fist from DS2 finally returns in spirit, you will catch me dropkicking player and god alike until the end of time.

Don't know if that'll cheer you up, but I found a super interesting Essay on parry in video game... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AfooSJGdXs
That was an interesting video! I like how they point out the progression of the use of parry from fighting games to beat them all/action games to PVP games. the cycle is closed.
also seeing mad max in that video made me really happy, that was a good game
