just finished watching fena pirate princess and it started out so promising with the father's secret and the masked goblin knights and then the plot just veered so far off from where it started 😭😭 i hate how it ended but the initial concept, characters, and art were just so good

fena pirate princess is really good so far omfg i can’t believe this has just been sitting on my watchlist for so long…. the characters are all so fun and the animation is pretty!! yukimaru is also hilarious him and fena are so cute 😭

pirate princess has kinda grown on me, and i’m fond of yukimaru/fena bc they are sweet

but like you needed double the amount of episodes to flesh this story out and relationship tbh

like the breadcrumbs are nice but i do want more than that!!!

If you're a Yona of the Dawn fan, please watch Fena: Pirate Princess. It's a similar premise, very girl power and kickass female anime and Fena really reminds me of Yona in her perseverance and determination and her naivety in some ways.

Then you have Yukimaru who is Fena's version of Son Hak, I guess. He's so damned funny in his own way... total tsundere and very skilled in fighting and protecting his girl. Also, ponytail on men is very pretty, what can I say. Comes across stern but he's hilarious at the more random times which really sets the tone of the show.

But the one who stole the show is Shitan for me... he is so damned pretty! And much like Hak and Shigure (Fruits Basket) usually has his yukata half gaping open... which does funny things to me. I don't understand what the need for it was in the gif below... I'm sure he would get an archers kiss in real life (I started archery on the weekends and have bruised my arm when I don't wear my arm guard properly) but I am not complaining

And then the intro song is just so pretty!

I have finished an absolutely beautiful and interesting anime; 𝐅𝐞𝐧𝐚: 𝐏𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬. Please, welcome my new obsession: 𝐘𝐮𝐤𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐮 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐚. Boy jumped like a scared cat when they see a cucumber. Badass serious samurai that is absolutely in love with the girl and his ears turn red when she touches him. -not to mention the pouty lips-.

" If you go, I go with you. If you stop, I stop with you. I'll keep you safe, until my last breath. To make sure you are never put in danger again, I'll strive to become even stronger. Let's go together. Whatever happpens, I swear to always protect you. My hand, will never again, let go of yours" -Yukimaru to Fena.

I demand my own samurai that swears like a knight to love me and keep me safe and be always by my side no matter what. I DEMAND IT.

And yes, I know he looks like Byakuya too (A LOT if I may say), that's the main reason why I started watching the anime but honestly he is one of a kind. Such a beautiful heart he has.

In any case, I totally TOTALLY recomend watching the anime. It is -sadly- only 12 chapters long, but it's absolutely worthy (especially if you like One Piece, might as well give you ideas of what Laugh Tale could look like)

I liked seeing that little camaraderie between Shitan and Fena:

If there is something I don't like about the stories, it is that there are misunderstandings and no one takes the step of solving it, or that this triggers the departure of the character involved. And here they have solved it.

I really LOVE THIS CHAPTER. We were able to see some of Yukimaru and Shitan's past, they were adorable, aw.

AND.

Now. NOW THE IMPORTANT THING *HITS THE TABLE* WHAT HAS THIS END OF CHAPTER BEEN? THAT WAY OF SPEAKING ???? omg my otp is canon AND IM NOT ACEPPTING NOTHING MORE.

I really love THEIR dinamic, chemestry... OMG Yukimaru's ears flushed and Fena collapsing from the confession of "I will always protect you".

Yeah folks, Fena Pirate Princess is THAT anime we've been needing for a long time
