Jössas - Festive 500 ruft!

☑ Rapha #festive500 - riding 500km again from Dec 24-31, this time to accompany @sneaky.snorlax to finish his first! I planned our routes along the endless riverside cycling trail in Taipei. The weather was a bit of a challenge, the week started with a cold wave with the temperature dropping as low as 8C, followed by days of rain. On top of that, the wind in Taiwan is blowing south so we had to deal with a lot of headwind every time we head out. Day 1 - Xindian 🚲 Tamsui Old Street 🚲 Lover's Bridge, Sunshine Bridge 104km. We had to bring my gravel to Giant Tamsui to get the squeaking checked and fixed Day 2 - Xindian 🚲 Sanxia Old Street 🚲 Yingge Old Street 🚲 Daxi Bridge, 104km Day 3 - Roahe Night Market 🚲 Xindian, 35km. We decided not to take a break due to the rain forecast in the next coming days so we bike after work! Day 4 - Xindian 🚲 Xizhi Old Street 🚲 Starlight Bridge 🚲 Keelung Harbor, 115km. Buddy had a little bit of incident on a slow and very safe route, nothing major Day 5 - Tour of Taipei, 65km. I wanted to show him the bike infrastructure in Taipei, how to navigate the busy and bustling streets. Brought my bikes to Giant Taipei-Nanjing for a quick check We took a rest day on Dec 29. I had to catch up with work and boy, I only had 30min of break and that's because of a canceled meeting Day 6 - Xindian 🚲 Bali Old Street 🚲 Guandu Bridge, Crescent Moon Bridge, 88km. We were mentally prepared to ride in the rain What kept me warm: @livcycling base layer, Liv Delphin rain jacket, Dexshell winter gloves, dhb Aeron winter socks, Liv Beliv cap. I still wear Liv Race Day or Fisso shorts, game changer is the @chamoisbuttr What kept us energized: full lunch meal, banana, @scienceinsport hydration tablet and energy gels, Mg 300+ Computers and sensors: @garmin Edge 530, speed, cadence and HR Belt. Dissolver e recompor (2023)

Há 8 anos venho escrevendo minhas metas/desejos. Esse ano não seria diferente. Apesar de quase não ter tempo de fazê-lo já que a pequena Júlia nasceu há 3 dias.

Profissionalmente foi novamente um ano bom. Continuo atuando nos projetos e o NUVEN está crescendo. Esse ano teve uma mudança relevante: sai do Polo de Inovação. Acho que isso vai ser bom pra minha vida voltar a ser só minha.

Vamos ao recap:

Para 2022 eu tinha:

Continuar me exercitando (seja como for). Humm.. não! Iniciai o ano até empolgado. Paguei um treinador de kettlebell e me empolguei. Tínhamos babá em casa e a vida estava mais ou menos regulada. Aos poucos vi que esses esporte solitários não iriam me trazer de volta. Parei. No fim do ano consegui uma retomada esportiva com o Rapha #Festive500 e me empolguei com a bike de novo. Inclusive troquei de bicicleta. Se tivemos babá novamente eu volto a pedalar.

Comer melhor (preciso me organizar quanto ao meu almoço e jantar). Sim.. isso sim. Comecei a levar almoço e estou criando o hábito. O jantar ainda peca muito.

Mais viagens de fim de semana. Sim. Com louvor. Fizemos mais viagens. Mais viagens de carro. Artur está aceitando mais o carro (graças às telas).

Terminar de pagar o carro. Done!

Brigar menos com a Luciana. Isso ta muito recorrente e tenho medo que nos desgaste de uma forma irreversível. Hoje (31/12) estamos indo dormir mal. Praticamente sem se falar. Melhoramos, mas longe do que era. E o motivo é o Artur. Temos um problema grande de aceitar a conduta do outro. Infelizmente acho que a tendência é piorar com a chegada da Juju. Mas é isso. Olhar pra frente que é só uma fase. Talvez a Júlia até equilivre essa situação já que o Artur é muito apegado à mãe.

E para 2023?

Pedalar! Quero que se torne um hábito diário. Quero ter pedalado pelo menos 150 dias.

Fazer uma viagem interestadual (com os meninos ou não).

Fazer um BeachCard para curtir o Beach Park com o Artur.

Ver o NUVEN crescer presencialmente.

Ser relevante em Maranguape.

#Festive500 – Day 8Ruhetag! Wir haben bereits gestern die Challenge erfolgreich beendet. Und ja, ich weiß warum ich diese Challenge vorher nie gefahren bin. Bei Wind und Wetter auf das Rad steigen, das mache ich normalerweise maximal für den Arbeitsweg. Aber an den freien Tagen bei üblen Wetter aufs Rad, nein danke !Aber wir haben es dennoch durchgezogen, trotz einiger Planänderungen, schlechten Wetter und auch einigen Platten. Wir haben stets soweit immer das Ziel erreicht. Lediglich am ersten Tag haben wir abgekürzt, da das Wetter echt unterirdisch war. Ich glaube die schönsten Touren war die lange Deichfahrt bis nach Geesthacht und über den Sachsenwald zurück sowie gestern die Tour zu Freunden. Dank fieberhafter Planung viel das bessere Wetter auch genau auf diese Tage. Aber alles im allen hatte ich eine schöne Zeit zusammen mit meinem Sohn auf dem Rad und viel frische Luft und Bewegung, die ich keineswegs missen möchte. Das Ganze dann nochmal zusammengefasst in einem kleinen Video. A thought for the New Year: While on a ride yesterday, I came to a T-junction at the bottom of a descent. I took a right. From the corner of my eye, I spotted a grupetto approaching from the left. The 5 guys, kitted out in Etxeondo and riding Orbea rigs (wait, am I in Basque Country? 😅), caught up with me soon enough. We were riding against the wind, going up a false flat. As they overtook me, we exchanged greetings, and then something extraordinary happened. They invited me to get in their wheel and pointed to a position where I could slip in. That has never happened to me before. Furthermore, you could tell from a mile away that I’m a Joe Foreigner. It didn’t matter to them. 
I could hold their wheel for only about 400m. Even though they were chatting away, exchanging gossip, the pace was furious, and my legs were about to fall off. They disappeared into the mountain as quickly as they appeared at the junction.
