okay i see a lot of people shaming her which YES she should've gotten it fixed sooner BUT in her defense:

no one besides jihyo and sana (and jk later on) knew she was back in her own apartment, a place she hasn't stayed in for a pretty long time

the door wasn't outright "broken" but it was a bit janky, meaning that there was a risk it could be weaker (but you'd also basically need to know how to use that eventual weakness)

she did tell jihyo about it and it was going to get fixed (implied though because it's not outright said but she wouldn't tell jihyo about it if she didn't plan on fixing it. sana offered to have her brother fix it as well)

also, in her defence, she's still lowkey kinda depressed.... but yeah, she should've gotten it fixed sooner or lived with someone else in the meantime but i wouldn't put all the blame on her

i'm sure i could've done a better job describing it but i don't even know how to describe door parts in my own language much less english lmao so it could very well be on me (or we just have different opinions which is also completely fine of course lmao 😅)

i really appreciate u in making enemies to lovers REAL because most of the time it’s not giving.. like people just dont get the excellence of the that trope if the characters are fake mean. NOO they need to be MEAN mean in order for the story to be GREAT… like.. not good person type of mean but thats what makes it great and entertaining to read.

The only thing i hope is for the FMC to be equally as mean and horrible, it’d be a next level enemies to lovers. FMC in dc is a bit too nice and too ‘weak’ but then again reading evolution of lovers heart makes me think u like writing fmc that is nice and genuinely kind hearted that almost makes us want to rip out hair out but then at the end we got plot twists that makes us understand why she needs to be nice and kind and how she’s so much more than that so im kinda waiting for that switch up in dc and honestly with chapter 14 i can see the evolution. cant wait!!

i'm glad! i really wanted to make them enemies, but honestly, if there's any chance of them ever getting closer, i feel like there needs to be some sort of misunderstanding. (or not make them "real" enemies to start with). i feel like if i had made her even meaner, then things hadn't evolved in the way they did. the reason she's "able" to still be so upset at him for being mean to her is because she wasn't that mean to him, she wouldn't come for anyone like he did her. and the story deals a lot with feminism and sexism, and it's a lot more "natural" for men to be angrier and meaner and get away with it. she couldn't act just in any way or she would've probably been reprimanded and fired for harassment or smth. it all ties back to gender roles and gender differences in a way. if you remember, she told jk at the beginning that she doesn't think men are even capable of love? so she definitely feels like men just don't care, whereas she would never stoop so low. so while i do enjoy writing sweet female characters, it's not the main reason she's "weaker" in this fic ❤️

But Jk's actions after finding out what happened don't support the theory of him being a mole 😭 from saving her twice,confronting Hoseong and the others,keeping her safe in his home,tailing JJ etc plus his conversations with Jimin and Jin? Like where's the catch? If he's the mole and has been working with Hoseong to get him to off Oc,why'd he stop him AND beat his ass to the point of getting hospitalized? What was he a mole for then? Nah,there are too many holes in this theory lolz

For me, the content of the fic doesn't matter as much as the quality of the writing. I think I first came across EOALH because it was either in a recommended fic list I saw or just picked it up in the Jungkook x Reader tags. The synopsis sounded interesting and so I read it... and was a goner.

There are a lot of Jungkook fics out there, but yours just really grabbed me in the heart. I don't think I've ever cried as much reading any other fic. You are a beautiful writer, both with the prose you choose as well as the way you develop the story. I really connected with this OC, fell in love with this Jungkook, and felt so invested in their relationship. Like any piece of art, I think the quality is measured by how deeply it can make you feel and think, and your fics truly emulate that.

After that, I've now flagged you as one of my favorite authors and will pretty much read anything you write because I know the quality and the ability to touch my heart will be there. EOALH is still my favorite fic of yours, but Between Takes and Dextrocardia are also top faves!

Once I've found a good author, I am hooked and will read anything they write, even if the genre is out of my comfort zone. When I first started reading fanfic, I never thought I would read fics centering BTS members who weren't my bias, or about hybrids/omegaverse, or other genres that I felt I didn't quite get the appeal of. But because I found certain authors who are incredible (like yourself), it's inspired me to read fics I wouldn't have otherwise, and really expanded my interests and worldview!

Hi, you asked why we like the fics that we like and, I can’t speak for everyone, but for me personally, I read dc, and I first saw that it was a enemies to lovers, which I’m the biggest sucker for, then it was the fact that there was an actual storyline. I don’t like it when, be it a book or fic or whatever, just focuses on the romance, it’s to fucking boring, but dc actually has a storyline.

Another thing was what the actual storyline was, I really understood the OC and could unfortunately relate to her quite a bit, how we later on got to know that she actually thought that she was going to die during the mission broke my heart and made everything make so much more sense, seeing how jk really tried to fix stuff, but also taking it slow and not pressuring her, made me feel quite comforted, in a way what I wished someone could’ve done in similar situations for me. And also your writing is honestly just very vivid as if we’re there with the OC along the way.
