thinking acquaintances/classmates to strangers to lovers — he fell first, and he fell harder. i’ve been going a little heavy on the angst (think it might have something to do with the fact that i’m almost all caught up and i don’t want it to end) with some part time long distance which is rough but we’re working it out 🫶🏻

I self shipped before I even knew it was a term or a "community" back then tho kid me was head over heels for Squall Leonhart from FF8 that was the character that made me get into it if not public LMFAO

It wasn't until 2017/2018 that I started to publically self ship STORY TIME!

around that time I was heavily HEAVILY into Final Fantasy XV and I was incredibly hyperfixated on Ignis Scientia so I made my own FFXV blog (yes a heckin fandom blog whaatt) but I posted a lot of "oc" x canon and I met two really awesome people Well one friend followed me from her self-ship blog and she dms me one day and goes "It seems like you'd like self ship." I admit at first glance I thought it was weird and I was really hesitant and I didn't get too TOO into it right away

Then I seen there was an entire community surrounding it and I was so welcomed with open arms and I never really left this corner of the hellsite since! LOL

My favourite part now is that I get show my love for my faves and its helped me a lot with personal issues and some characters saved me in a sense. I love all the love that surrounds it not only for the characters I hold dear but for myself as well. Granted it's not instant it's taking work to get where I am on the self love train but my fo play a huge role in me loving myself a little better than I once did <3

(the idea is about ren and me being separated for a couple of weeks as i go someplace for medical testing. and while he starts off 'normal' (very very horny. sticking his face into my things to smell me. fucking his fist multiple times a day.), he becomes needier and more desperate over time.

then he gets swamped with work and he doesn't have the energy to get off when he gets home. so when i finally get back he's just. SOOOOO pent up and emotional. he tries to hide it and then say 'we don't need to do anything abt it' when The Issue becomes Obvious, but eventually i convince him that it's okay for me to help get him off.

he does in fact get VERY into it. putting all of his weight into fucking my hand in his pants and kissing me and moaning into my mouth as he tells me all of the things he missed while i was gone (waking up next to me, making me laugh bc i don't laugh often, the way i look when i'm working on smth i'm passionate about). interlocking his hand with the one that isn't in his pants LMAO, and slowly going full coomer brain before finally cumming all over my hand. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Selfship Ask Game

im finally getting around to answering these!! im so sorry it takes me so long to answer ask game asks i just need to think a lot about it before answering T_T (also um you can still send me asks for this ask game i love getting asks!!)

also OMG WHAT THATS SO COOL!!! im so glad I enjoyed it shin godzilla is so awesome!!!! I def recommend minus one, it’s one of my fave Godzilla movies ^_^ and I’m also glad u enjoy my fnv and tf2 posting hehe :3

🍦 - what's your f/o's favorite way to show affection? are there any little things they do to indicate their appreciation for you?

Ichimatsu likes physical affection, but is too shy to initiate it most of the time. When he has the courage to initiate it, or when Ai initiates it, he will be very clingy hehe ^_^ He mainly likes hugs and cuddling, anything where he can hold Ai close. He also likes resting his chin on her shoulder or her head lol :3 and he also shows his affection through gifts! little things like charms and paper cranes and plush keychains ^_^

Pyro is also very physically affectionate, it’s the easiest way to show their love for Janitor!! They nuzzle their heads together, and Janitor loves laying on top of them (they’re always warm!!) But they also do love to give them little gifts like drawings of them together :)

🍧 - which of you is the better chef? what's their favorite thing to make for the other?

They both aren’t completely helpless in the kitchen, but Ichimatsu is a bit better at cooking than Ai. She prefers getting premade meals and snacks from the store lol ^_^ Ichi is good at making curries and sir-fry and onigiri, which just so happen to be Ai’s favorite foods! He is also getting into baking, but he’s still getting the hang of it (their oven still smells like burnt cookies…) Once he improves though, he wants to make Ai a carrot cake (her favorite ^_^)

Janitor is definitely the better chef of the two lol no offense to Pyro but they do have a tendency to burn things ^^; Janitor is kind of the team’s unofficial chef, basically them working overtime, but they don’t mind. They do bake together though! Pyro loves making pretty cakes and cookies with them ^_^

🍮 - what's something you do that always makes your f/o smile, and/or vice versa?

Ai being cute with the stray cats they always feed together never fails to make Ichimatsu smile, while Ai catching Ichi secretly doing nice things for her (making her lunch and leaving it in the dining room, writing and pinning up a sweet note on the fridge for her to read, always washing her favorite mug so it’s ready to use whenever) always makes her smile ^_^

Janitor always smiles whenever Pyro is around, but what really makes them giddy is when they hold hands, and Pyro gives theirs a squeeze to let Janitor know that they’re listening, or that they’re with them ^_^ and Pyro always smiles when when Janitor smiles :) especially when they smile because of them!!!

🍩 - what are some irl things that remind you of your f/o?

Stray cats that I see around my neighborhood and purple flowers remind me of Ichi ^_^

And of course fire reminds me of Pyro hehe, and also cool gas masks!! And also anything Pyrovision-y like bubbles and rainbows lol

Self-ship positivity palooza!

I'm sorry I'm so late, work went long today but I finally have a chance to sit down and write about what self shipping means to me!!

What got you into self inserting? Was it something you’ve always done, or something you were inspired to do?

Friends were a tough thing growing up, I was loud, rude, abrasive, stubborn, wacko, and generally a brat. I didn't think I needed friends because none could be like how special the Golden Trio, Harry, Ron, and Hermione were to me. I guess that was my first dive into exploring self shipping, by imagining myself at Hogwarts with them! I fell out of it as I grew up because I came to understand how people worked better, but now I just have so much fun shipping in my favorite stories again!!

For some of us, aesthetic is key. Do you have a theme or an aesthetic for your self insert content (Please do not include ships/FOs!)?

Oh yes!! Again, I was a huge tomboy as a kid, so pink was a hated color. But now I super love it and I super love being flowery and girly!! I’m a lot like my s/i now but when I started, we were pretty different. It's also the reason I started going by Rose in real life now!

What’s your favourite way of self inserting? Do you like to write, or draw, or make content via other means? (They’re all valid, even if you don’t make content and keep it to yourself!)

Writing and moodboards! I love color coordination and I've been writing since I was a little kid, it's my favorite way to art!
