working on a redesign for the findcap character Dakota. i’m not 100% on this right now and suggestions are welcome. (also, i haven’t thought about her outfit yet)

like utah being a rogue, she’s cute and cool and meant to be a protagonist and most of her actions aren’t supposed to be “in the wrong”, but shes a woc and I don't want to be reinforcing any sort of message about demographics and criminality. I just want her to be the bubblegum bandit and to be cute and look for treasure. i would so badly prefer that people enjoy the adventures of her and her friends.

these are the kinds of things i worry about; it’s sincerely very stressful and i am willing to turn to anyone for opinions before i put out findcap and do something I can’t walk back, even if it turns out to be nothing in the long run

i guess i shouldnt have anything to be afraid of if im an earnest and forthcoming person but the internet is a terrifying landscape for good faith discussion sometimes

Ashley from PGA if her matrilineal heritage showed. Her mother is a beast-type monsterfolk; specifically a cheetah lady. It tends to only show up in dfab members of the family, so it’s a trans thing here. There’s other layers to the cheetah thing but I won’t go into it here
