Chromatic Levels . In the end my visit to Berlin, I felt a bit tired from having seen so much in just a few days. However, the moment this hotel appeared in front of me, my senses were instantly re-awakened. After a walk around the building I was just in time to catch the last sunlight casting shadows right into the depth.

Summer Song . Summer Song These cold winter days make me long for the summer (when the living is easy 🎶). This photo was taken in Italy some time ago. Each year in August when the summer holidays and a burning sun drive all inhabitants away from the urban heat, Milan is transformed into virtual ghost town. It is the perfect setting for an unusual musical experience: the well defined window frames and their wooden shutters provide a soothing rhythm and the gorgeous green wall behind completes an abstract summer ballad for one’s eyes. . . . (W)ego Pavilion . Dutch Design Week 2017 in Eindhoven (the Netherlands). The (w)ego pavilion by @MVRDV is a fascinating real size sketch that visualises the idea of adaptable living spaces that follow its inhabitants' changing needs for specific spaces. A very interesting concept that may pave the way to new technical developments in optimised urban living space. Urban Code . With gratitude I remember my stay in Tokyo earlier this year. Living near Shibuya station, I passed the notorious busy crossing everyday. And each time I noticed this appartment block, just above the hectic of the street level. The curtains behind the grid of windows seem to convey a secret message. Later on I realized I only had captured it with my mobile phone. Nevertheless I still love watching this one from time to time, wondering about how to decode it. . Following the White Rabbit ☁️ . The Sprinkenhof is one of those buildings that really sparked my imagination during a brief stay in Hamburg, earlier this year. The courtyard look-up is a famous architecture photography hot spot, successfully captured by many people. The incredible facade made me wish to see more of it, so I extended the majestic window experience. . Sprinkenhof was built in several stages in the 1920s - 1940s. Designed by Höger & Gerson Architects. At the time of its completion it was Hamburg's biggest residential, commercial and warehouse building. . . . Rooftop Palace . Giving a roof above the heads of the homeless is the very noble task of the Kessler Foundation. And it is also the majestic roof that attracts all attention in this new building. The colourful patterns of the tiles and the large multitude of dormers are just irresistible to me. Shimmering Gold . It was an unforgettable Sunday in the end of Summer at the @musee_des_confluences in Lyon. The design of this museum of natural history is nothing less than overpowering. This multi-faceted pilar offers a beautiful view on the point where the two rivers Rhône and Saône are joined into one on their continuing journey south. Design by Coop.
