Yes, SPOCK (Leonard Nimoy) loved CARS. I met him in 1976 in Ojai through a family friend (Actor Jeff Corey) to find out that his ears WEREN'T REAL! Imagine my horror... But I did also find out that he was a CAR GUY through and through. Especially the RIVS...
But imagine if they had this Fireball Hot Rod STARSHIP ENTERPRISE!! They would Boldly Go where no one would want to go... Cool Car, Bad Habits. #fireballtim #automotivepopculture #conceptart #fireballtimgarage

You Can’t Take Us Anywhere.
Characters— Tim Wright, Jay Merrick, Brian Thomas & Alex Kralie (Pre-MH)
CWs— Physical violence, Mild injuries (mentioned, not dwelled on), Alcohol use, Law-breaking behavior (trespassing, fleeing the scene)
It happened so fast, Jay didn’t even have time to steal a beer before the first punch was thrown.
Some guy—tall, smug, definitely named something like Bryce—shouldered past Tim in the kitchen and called him “a freak.” The air shifted. Brian made eye contact with Jay across the room and sighed, already prepping for damage control.
Tim didn’t say anything. He just grabbed the nearest bottle of Fireball by the neck and smashed it clean over Bryce’s head.
The music didn’t even stop. Someone yelled “YOOO!” and five different phones were already out filming before Bryce hit the ground.
The guy next to him turned to Alex and snorted. “Your buddy’s a psycho. What is this, the chess club?”
Alex looked up from where he was elbow-deep in a bag of Doritos and socked him square in the face.
That’s when the music did stop.
“Okay,” Brian said brightly, clapping his hands once. “That’s our cue.”
Jay was already grabbing Tim by the hood and dragging him backward, grinning like a maniac. “Come on, boys. We’ve committed at least two crimes and I’m pretty sure Bryce’s dad is a lawyer.”
“No way that guy’s conscious enough to testify,” Alex said, wiping Dorito dust on his jeans as they shoved out through the back door.
Brian pulled it shut behind them just as someone inside shouted “Call the cops!” and someone else shouted “WORLDSTAR!”
They ran—out of the yard, down the alley behind the house, cutting through a neighbor’s lawn. It was freezing out, stars high and cold overhead, but no one cared. Jay had a bottle of something in his coat that may or may not have come from the kitchen counter during the brawl.
“I want it on record,” Brian said between laughs, “that I did nothing wrong tonight.”
“You live with us,” Jay said. “Guilt by association.”
Alex was panting, giddy. “That was amazing. I think I broke his nose. I’ve never punched anyone before!”
“Yeah, we could tell,” Brian muttered, dodging a bush as they sprinted across campus.
They didn’t slow down until they hit the chain-link fence behind the east quad—the one with the bent post and the sign that said No Trespassing: Active Demolition Zone. Naturally, they climbed it.
The other side opened up into a lot half-full of broken concrete and rebar. An old science building stood crooked in the moonlight, glass shattered in every window. No lights. No security.
“I can’t believe you hit him with a bottle,” Jay said, wheezing.
Tim shrugged, catching his breath. “He called me a freak.”
“You are,” Alex said, grinning. “You’re our freak, though.”
Brian uncapped the bottle Jay had boosted and took a swig. It burned going down. “We’re absolutely getting expelled if anyone saw that.”
“No one’s gonna recognize us,” Jay said. “Except Alex. He wore his Calculus Is Radical hoodie.”
Alex flipped him off with both hands.
They broke into the building the way any bored student would—through a broken window and a healthy dose of bad judgment. The inside smelled like wet cement and asbestos. Perfect.
There was something holy about the way they sprawled across desks that hadn’t been sat in for years, feet on chalkboards, laughter echoing through rooms that used to hold lectures on biology and failed freshmen dreams.
Tim found an overhead projector and pretended to give a presentation on “Why You Shouldn’t Touch Me Without Consent.” Alex threw an eraser at him. Jay found a working speaker and paired it to his phone, blasting awful indie garage rock while Brian kicked his feet up on a desk and nursed the bottle like it owed him rent.
They didn’t talk about the party. Or the guy with the busted face. Or the part where they may have committed a felony. It didn’t matter. Not tonight.
Tonight they were gods. Or idiots. Or both.
Same difference.

Welcome to AUTOMOTIVE POP CULTURE DAILY! Happy Friday, folks... and let's get 'er blastin! Off the line, we've got a QUESTION? In the 60's, Fireball Pop hired George Barris to build this one-off Kustom Hot Rod for the ELVIS film, "EASY COME, EASY GO,"... which he wrote. Later, the car was used on the TV Show BATMAN as the JOKERMOBILE. Should Fireball SKETCH THIS UP? LEAVE A COMMENT BELOW or make a SUGGESTION for something you'd like to see! fireballtimgarage.art
DID YOU KNOW?? "Easy Come, Easy Go" was Elvis's final film with Paramount Pictures and his last one with Hal Wallis, which was followed by PARADISE, HAWAIIAN STYLE & ROUSTABOUT which Fireball Pop also wrote! But Elvis was no longer as interested in his film career and the music soundtracks he had to record for Paramount. He just wanted to sing Well, I guess that "Easy Come, Easy Go" was an appropriate title!
