They were also the ones who were the most changed by the operator like they’re so deeply tragic to me. You’re so right—everyone focuses on Alex and Jay (which, fair, the drama’s juicy), or Brian and Tim, but the Brian and Alex dynamic is criminally underrated?? Brian was the closest with him. Like. Canonically. Best friends. Ride or die.

They’re mirrors, right? Both devoured by something they can’t name, both trying to claw their way back to agency…

Also like Brian is just. So special to me?? The way he starts to become literally a shell of a man, how he ends up with one goal in mind & loses himself pretty much.. UGH I NEED TO STOP OR ILL START RAMBLING.

-Moonjo is fascinated by Ammon’s volatility — the instability, the raw violence, the hidden trauma. It's not pity; it's curiosity.

-When they "work" together, it’s almost clinical. Ammon is brutal and impulsive; Moonjo is deliberate, methodical. It’s a weirdly effective dynamic.

-It’s a constant, shifting balance. Moonjo tries to study and control, Ammon resists or explodes. Moonjo never punishes, just waits. And sometimes, Ammon lets him win, not out of submission — but curiosity. What happens when he gives up control?

-Ammon has nightmares. Moonjo once woke him up to just ask; “Who is Alex?”

-One thing about them is ‘love’ is not a word in their vocabulary. They don’t say it. Moonjo simply says “You are my most fascinating artwork yet” and Ammon grunts and shifts a little closer. Sometimes he’ll say, “That so, Van Gogh?”

-Moonjo loves watching the difference between Ammon and Tim, he calls them “day and night”.

-Sometimes he feeds his presence — triggering the switch just to see it happen. Ammon hates how easily Moonjo can draw him out.

-Ammon is suspicious of everyone. He tracks exits. He watches hands. But with Moonjo? He relaxes his guard just slightly. Not because he feels safe — but because he knows if Moonjo wanted him dead, they’d have killed each other by now.

-Moonjo has this unnerving ability to soothe Ammon, not with kindness, but through eerie consistency.

-He always speaks in the same tone. His movements are exact. For a brain that’s constantly glitching, Moonjo’s predictability is strangely comforting.

-Moonjo prepares small, carefully arranged meals and offers them like a peace treaty. Ammon often refuses the first few bites, but eventually caves and now, it’s a kind of ritual. Moonjo feeds the beast so it won’t destroy the house.

-He keeps a thick notebook full of observations; Ammon’s triggers, coping mechanisms, episodes, sleep patterns. Ammon knows, even read it once.

-He destroyed part of it, then asked Moonjo why he wrote “Subject 27-A” next to his name. Moonjo just smiled and said, “Because you’re special.”

-Ammon probably gets jealous. If Moonjo even looks too long at someone else (whether out of curiosity or predatory intent), Ammon grows twitchy.

-Moonjo thinks it’s cute, like a rabid dog growling from a corner. Sometimes he provokes it on purpose, just to watch.

-They don’t go on dates. They stalk people together, following someone for hours. Moonjo analyzing their routines, watching them, appearing just to get under their skin, and Ammon noting how easily they could be taken. Sometimes they act. Sometimes they don’t.

-Ammon 100% brings Moonjo living people as a gift, like a fucked up little show of affection, he’ll lead him somewhere discreet, abandoned; Just to show him some poor soul tied to a chair. All he says is “Knock yer’self out, darlin’.”

I’ll be referring to Masky as Ammon like you do! (I hope that’s okay..)

-Alex frequently falls asleep with his glasses on, Ammon has mastered gently plucking them off of his face without Alex waking up swinging.

-Ammon 100% listens to country music. Alex initially hates it but gets caught singing along to them very quietly; but he still denies that they’re growing on him.

-Alex is a pyromaniac, he sets everything on fire from pieces of paper to buildings, Ammon is no better. They set a building on fire together and call it a date. It’s romantic to them, okay?

-Alex is fluent in Ammons grunts and growls, he knows which one means what.

-Late night drives? Hell yeah. Alex hogs the drivers seat, Ammon gets revenge by playing country music. Long backroads will probably be where they spend their honeymoon.

-Alex loosens up when he drinks, specifically when he drinks rum, Ammon takes the chance to convince him to do dumb shit and then uses it as a humiliation tactic later on.

-They fight, sometimes it gets psychical— Ammon stops to wipe the blood off of Alex’s face. Alex laughs and they get over it.

-Ammon frequently throws Alex over his shoulder.

-Alex sits Ammon through corny movies that he calls ‘cinema’, Ammon tells him they’re shit but he watches them with him anyway.

-Alex likes to go to the theatre; Ammon doesn’t react well to loud noises. He punches the guy next to him. They learn to sit in isolated seats.

-Ammon brings Alex random bones. Some human, some animal. It’s his way of showing affection. Alex calls it disgusting but keeps them anyway.

Hello can I have some Tim and Alex hcs?

Hello!! Of course you can!!

-Alex absolutely despises the way Tim makes coffee, his coffee is a black void of enough caffeine to keep you awake for a week, Alex says it’s way too bitter; Tim just rolls his eyes and says “I don’t drink it because it tastes good, I drink it because it’s caffeine.”

-Alex is always spotting random things to record or take pictures of, like a streetlight or a tree, sometimes he’ll randomly direct Tim to stand in a certain place so he can take a picture, Tim sighs but does it anyway.

-Tim hates his picture taken, Alex loves taking pictures, but he also hates taking his own picture, every now and then as a bit of revenge Tim will say “Stand over there for a second” so he can take a picture of Alex. Dose of his own medicine.

-Neither Alex nor Tim cook, they both just eat takeout or microwavable meals.

-While Tim relies on coffee for his dose of caffeine and nights awake, Alex relies on energy drinks.

-Alex’s space is a total mess, a cluttered mess of boxes, and crumpled up pages, but he can still navigate it, it’s his mess and he knows where everything is.

-Tim thinks everywhere he stays is a train wreck, and has learnt to identify where Alex has and hasn’t been because of the mess he typically leaves behind; “Yep, this place looks like someone drove a truck through it, Alex has definitely been here.”

-Alex likes polar bears, Tim likes grizzly bears.

-They both smoke, but Tim smokes significantly more. They both drink, but Alex drinks significantly more.

-Alex and Tim both have some sort of hyper-independence complex. They won’t accept help from other people, or even ask. But they both notice it from each other, and both help each other anyway in very subtle ways.

Also thinking about how hard Masky and Hoody tried to help Jessica AND Jay when they knew Alex was going after them. They brought Jessica out and masky was most likely coming back for Jay .. they make me SICK.

The way Hoody is so careful with her and keeps her close and keeps his hand on her shoulder to reassure her, the way Masky is SO defeated when they lose her..

Hoodys only sound he makes throughout out the ENTIRE series (if I don't count coughing) is the shushing when Jessica is scared and confused.

They actually tried so damn hard only for it to have the results as always, I'm so terribly sad for them.

-Brian thrives on Alex’s sarcastic little insults.

Alex: “You’re like if a dog got a concussion and learned how to speak.”

Brian, grinning: “Aww, babe, you think I’m loyal?”

-Alex has exactly one love language: acts of service through barely concealed rage. He’ll fix Brian’s laptop while complaining the whole time. Brian will just lean on his shoulder, smiling.

Alex: “Why the hell are there 83 tabs open?”

Brian: “Because I love learning 😊”

Alex: “You’re gonna learn how to get throttled.”

-Alex doesn’t believe in pet names but has 14 nicknames for Brian that range from “dummy” to “walking migraine.”

Brian calls him “sweetheart” in the most insincere tone ever. Alex flinches every time and secretly loves it.

-Brian kisses Alex mid-sentence all the time. Especially when Alex is ranting.

Alex: “—and then this moron tells me he didn’t back up the—mmph?!”

Brian: “You’re cute when you’re angry.”

Alex, flustered: “You haven’t seen me angry yet.”

Brian: “You threatening me or asking me on another date?”

-Alex reads before bed. Brian always scoots over, lays his head on Alex’s stomach, and listens to him read out loud. Alex claims he hates doing voices. Alex does the voices anyway.

-Alex pretends to hate Brian’s nicknames but secretly gets mad if Brian goes too long without using them.

Brian: “You good, sweetheart?”

Alex: “Stop calling me that.”

Brian: “Okay.”

…

Alex, twenty minutes later: “Why aren’t you calling me sweetheart?”

-Brian absolutely cries during movies.

Alex: “It’s a Pixar short. It’s two minutes long.”

Brian, sobbing: “THE UMBRELLAS HAD A CONNECTION.”

-Alex doesn’t do holiday cheer. He’s allergic to it.

Brian decorates the entire place like it’s a Hallmark movie threw up in it. Lights, wreaths, glitter.

Alex takes one ornament off a day like it’s a hostage negotiation.

By New Year’s, there’s one single candy cane left. Brian names it “Gary.”

-They send each other the stupidest texts imaginable when they’re apart.

Brian: “miss u like a Victorian orphan misses soup”

Alex: “I hope you trip on a pebble. Come home soon.”

-Brian has a horrible habit of getting Alex little gifts for no reason.

A weird t-shirt. A keychain that says “world’s grumpiest boyfriend.” A plant named Kevin.

Alex acts put out about it but Kevin is now thriving on the windowsill and Alex talks to him while cooking.

Okay first, new writing layout bc i got inspired by another writer on here!

Second, Polyhornets mueheheheh.

Their love was like a wave in the beginning, rising and building before slowly lapping at the shore, the joy and bliss you’d feel whenever the afternoon sun would cast beautiful golden light onto your bedroom walls. They all remember it like it was yesterday, when they’d wake up squished together into a double bed that seemed too small and too hot, Brian wakes first with blurry eyes surveying the surrounding he has long gotten used to by now.

Jay’s got his head still soundly on the pillow, Alex’s chin hooked over his shoulder while Brian holds around his waist and then behind him is Tim curled against his back. Its a nice feeling and sight to wake up to, although its a shame he’s gotta get up because in turn it always disturbs his partners too, really he has hasn’t determined if thats a good thing or not. Carefully, he detaches himself from Alex and sorta shimmy’s out of Tim’s space, for once he thinks maybe they’ll stay asleep..

Only to be stopped in the bedroom doorway by a rough morning voice asking wheres off to, he turns and even in the dark he knows Alex is leaning up and squinting without his glasses, he probably was jostled by the movement along with the sudden lack of warmth pressed to him.

“8am class baby, go back to sleep.” Brian smiled

“Nah m’hungry anyway.” Alex says, immediately reaching over Jays sleeping form to grab his glasses off the nighstand, slapping his hand around on the wood until his fingers reach them just enough so he can pull them up. The sound paired with the movement wakes Tim up, Alex says good morning to him but he only receives a grunt in reply, Brians already in the kitchen by now making tea for himself whilst he waits for toast to pop up hopefully not charred.

Jay is who sleeps the deepest so he’s yawing and rubbing his eyes when he joins everyone else in the kitchen, pulling a chair up to sit in where shortly after a mug of coffee is placed in front of him.

They have breakfast in peace, exchange weird dreams and a few laughs, kisses on foreheads too. Tim has a headache so he’s already taken two pain relief, he doesn’t talk as much as he wants to just to avoid being irritated this early at the people who dont deserve it.

By 7:20 Brian is getting dressed - stealing someones shirt thats maybe a tad smaller than the size he needs but its fine, slipping on some basic blue jeans to go with it and his beloved trainers. Then when he’s brushing his teeth he can hear dishes being washed from the kitchen, small conversations now more than just sleepy whispers. When he has to leave, he holds each of his boyfriends faces in his palm to kiss them goodbye.

He tastes Jays bitter coffee and the cigarette Tim’s lit- he misses it them second he goes.

Theres the days they’d all be together on the university campus, sitting close together, limbs touching in some way whether thats leaning on eachother or locking pinkies, it was enough for them. It was enough to all do their own things in one another presence.

When did it stop being enough?

It started with Alex. He became irritable, angry over small things, and he lost his passion for his film. He and Tim began arguing more, they wouldn’t talk to eachother for days sometimes because they’re both too stubborn to say sorry from the get to go and realise they’re probably both in the wrong, Brian could only smooth those over every once in a while and Jay was just losing his patience with the two of them, so he started distancing unintentionally. In their own ways they were all trying to avoid one another.

Then Alex dropped the film and he dropped them, saying that he just doesn’t feel that spark anymore between them, there hasn’t been for a while and there was no use trying to keep it alight, plus he’s found interest in someone else. It hurt to hear that he was moving away, that he didn’t have feelings for them anymore, that they were being replaced (or atleast its how it felt). In reality Alex was just going through the operators effects which is what made him angry, made him need to get away from this stupid town, maybe that’ll help.

Brian, also being effected, was just exhausted and confused as he questioned why Alex was doing these things, he was angry too, didn’t try to stop him from going. If he wasn’t happy then..he wasn’t happy. Jay was heartbroken, cooped up in his room for days on end, missing classes while he was hurting - he was angry alongside Tim too, he didn’t know when it’d get better, the last time he saw Alex was when he picked up the tapes from him.

Tim could barely remember a thing, it’s unfortunate and really upsetting for him that hes lost huge chunks of time and memory, then it all would come rushing back to hurt him.

Nowadays, they miss eachother deep down, mjss eachother so much it physically hurts. Alex lays awake in his bed, wishing there were the warmth of even just 1 other person and sometimes he falls asleep imagining there is, cycling between the partners he’s had: Jay, Brian, Tim, Amy. Anyone who can bring him comfort despite what hes done.

Brian isn’t even exactly a person anymore but he knows he’s missing multiple parts of himself, his eye, his memory and the people who filled the void now in his chest. Perhaps they all hate him now but he still cares, in fact hes trying to stop all this shit with Masky, its not Tim but it’s something right?

Jay had reunited with Alex, “helping him find Amy” before realising something was up and very wrong, he thought maybe this could be the beginning of something again but Alex wasn’t any better, still angry, still dealing with his own things so much so that he doesn’t have time for Jays past feelings. Then Jay stalked him for a while before eventually almost losing his life, after that he wanted to stay as far away as possible from him in fear.

Tim is getting better little by little, attending doctors appointments, getting his meds when he needs them. Only issue being when he isn’t himself..Masky keeps things from him, important memories that would explain to him why he had a broken leg one time or why he wakes up with blood in his hair. Jay approached him one day, saying he was trying to finish Alex’s film, god knows why when it was such a shit show.

That wasn’t all he wanted though, he was doing some weird shit right? so Tim had googled ‘Marble Hornets’. Jay was lying to him. One of the men he was closest to before, lied to him.

They all hurt eachother. Nothing will ever be the same.

The Beats Inside My Head

Hi! I'm going to run through my discography and add some details for you. This is my debut project, a 7 song mixtape I produced while I was coping with my grandfather's death. Before this I was making mashups on Soundtrap and learning how to to dubstep on Music Maker Jam. Originally, I was going to title these tracks after lines and give the project a different artwork but due to the events I changed up all of that. I'm sure why is understandable. There's not much to say here really sadly besides that this is a unique mix of electronic music and instrumental hiphop with an ambient feel to some of the sounds. It was fun learning to produce like this and I'd recommend Don't Go and Come Back.

However I will say it was a big change for me to release this project. At the time, I was working on being a YouTuber with one of my best friends, Daryan. We don't talk too much anymore but he designed the Gp on my first official piece of merchandise technically. It's not released or anything but I have it on in promo shots. I was making content about my interests at the time. Playing Minecraft, making custom Bionicles and giving them storylines, editing Pokemon AMVs, writing sketches, all the classic stuff. Unfortunately almost all of it is gone. One big collaboration AMV is still released, which I helped direct and edit for. It was a fun time but I decided to switch to music cause it became my biggest calling. I then proceded to delete all of my old videos, which honestly thinking back is heartbreaking. Were they cringe? 100%. Do I still want them up? Yes. Why? Well, it shows growth. Think, one day I'll be a bigger artist than I maybe ever imagined. If those videos were up, people from all over the world could see my true start, look at it then look at me then and say "hey, I'll try it!" Which is exactly why to this day I keep up my entire discography, unlike most annoying underground rappers who delete almost everything previously once a song blows up. There are a few AMV leftovers that I decided to keep up because I hadn't fully deleted them, check them out here!

But that's enough of that for now. In a way this album was me starting a legacy. I picked a sound, a style I liked and went for it. It really is easy to tell through this record alone what makes me different to the pears I surround myself with now. You can hear the DNA that is this album in my modern music, albeit way more defined and quality controlled. All I've done is improve in the last 8 years. Honestly typing that out just horrified me, I've been a content creator for a decade, around half my life, and a musician specifically for most of that too. It's crazy to think about but I like going back and listening to older records sometimes. Reminds me of where I came from.

With the above link you can listen to this tape. It's a swift listen, right around 18 and a half minutes. It's worth trying out, I still let some of the songs play when I listen to them. I want to shout out my grandfather too to end this. In a way I feel his death made me who I am, including the artist part of me. So I want to thank him for that, and may he rest in peace. I see him in my visions but honestly? I think about seeing him in the next place every single day.
