“it was easy for me, but you’re your own person, you have your strengths and weaknesses. you’re great at literature classes and i sucked at them. this is like that, but like, vice versa.” he reminds me.

“i can help, if you want?” i nod at his words.

“yes, please.” i plead. he nods, rising to his feet and i watch with furrowed brows as he collects my half done homework and steps towards the bed.

“you coming?” i jump at the chance to get out of the uncomfortable desk chair, making a mental note to get a new one soon.

“what are we doing?” i question as he sits on the bed, his back to the headboard. his response comes as a firm pat to the mattress between his spread legs and i forego my further questions to crawl up the bed and into his bubble of space.

“you gotta turn around, doll.” my boyfriend chuckles as i hug his midsection, causing me to groan. pulling back, i maneuver in his hold, my back now pressing against his chest.

“let’s get this started. the faster i’m done, the faster i can get back to my favorite hobby.” i tell him as he starts looking over the questions i’ve already answered.

“mmm? and what’s that?” he hums.
