Part One
Tumblr media
The lab was alive with energy. Shuri paced back and forth in front of the holographic display, vibrant equations and genetic sequences glowing in the air as she scrolled through her data. Her usual confidence radiated brighter than ever, but beneath it was a restrained urgency. This could be the breakthrough they had all been waiting for.
Dallas sat at the edge of a sleek, sterile table, her legs swinging nervously. She watched Shuri with a mix of awe and trepidation. For the first time in what felt like forever, there was a small flicker of hope in her chest, but it was wrapped tightly in fear.
Shuri turned to her, her eyes gleaming. “Dallas,” she said with a triumphant smile, “I think I’ve got it.”
Dallas’s breath hitched. “Got what, exactly?”
Shuri gestured to the hologram. “This—this is your genetic profile, combined with what we’ve learned about the serum you’ve been relying on. I’ve been studying the changes your father made to your DNA, trying to understand not just the powers you were given, but the degradation it’s caused to your cells.” She paused for a moment, taking a breath. “I believe I’ve found a way to stop the degeneration altogether.”
Dallas blinked, her mind racing to keep up. “You mean… permanently? No more injections, no more temporary fixes?”
Shuri nodded, her smile widening. “Yes. Permanently.”
The words hung in the air, almost too heavy for Dallas to process. Permanently. A solution that wasn’t just a bandage, but a cure. A chance to live without constantly counting down the days, wondering how much time she had left.
But the flicker of hope was quickly overshadowed by doubt. She frowned, her hands clenching the edge of the table. “How? How is that even possible?”
Shuri approached, her tone softening as she explained. “Your DNA was altered at the most fundamental level before you were even born. The process wasn’t perfect, and the instability is what’s been causing your health to deteriorate as your powers grow stronger. I believe we can stabilize your DNA using nanotechnology. Essentially, the nanites will act as microscopic surgeons, repairing the damage on a cellular level and reprogramming the faulty sequences.”
Dallas swallowed hard. It sounded like something out of science fiction. “And this… this won’t just slow it down? It’ll stop it?”
Shuri gave her a steady look. “It’s never been attempted on this scale, but if it works…” She smiled gently. “Your body will stop degrading. You’ll have a chance at a normal life.” Shuri catches herself, letting a soft laugh out. “As normal of a life you can have with telekinetic abilities.”
Dallas swallowed hard, her throat suddenly tight. The weight of the words hit Dallas like a freight train. A normal life. It was something she hadn’t dared to dream of for so long. The hope surged, bright and overwhelming, but it was quickly tempered by fear. For the first time in years, she felt the faintest flicker of hope. But it scared her. That flicker could burn out just as quickly as it had appeared, leaving her in the same darkness she’d been living in for years.
“What’s the catch?” Dallas asked, her voice trembling. “There’s always a catch.”
Shuri hesitated for a moment, then nodded. “The procedure is complex and risky. We’ll have to put you under for several hours while the nanites do their work. They’ll be interfacing directly with your DNA, which means your body will be under significant stress. There’s a chance your powers could react… unpredictably during the process.”
Dallas’s throat tightened. “So there’s a chance it could kill me… or I could hurt you.”
Shuri tilted her head, her gaze steady. “There’s always a risk, Dallas. But this is the best shot we’ve got. If it works, you won’t just survive—you’ll thrive… We’ll take all the necessary precautions, I promise.”
The room fell silent, the weight of the decision pressing down on them both. Dallas stared at the holograms, her mind spinning. For so long, she had resigned herself to the inevitability of her death. The serums had bought her time, but they were a temporary fix. Now, for the first time, she could see a future that wasn’t overshadowed by her illness.
But the fear was still there. The fear of hoping too much, of letting herself believe this could work only to have it all come crashing down.
“I don’t know if I can do this,” Dallas admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. “I want to believe you, Shuri. I want to believe that I can actually have a life. But what if it doesn’t work? What if this is just… false hope?”
Shuri placed a hand on her shoulder, her expression gentle but firm. “I can’t promise you it’ll work, Dallas. But I wouldn’t suggest this if I didn’t believe in it. You’ve fought so hard to stay alive, to make it this far. This is your chance to stop surviving and start living.”
Dallas closed her eyes, her heart pounding. She wanted to believe. She wanted to throw herself into this with everything she had. But the scars of her past—the guilt, the fear, the loss—they made it so hard to trust in anything good.
Dallas blinked back tears and looked at Shuri, forcing a shaky smile. “What’s the timeline?”
“We can perform the surgery in a week,” Shuri replied. “The prep work will take a few days, and we’ll need to ensure your body is in the best possible condition before we begin. But once we’re ready, we can proceed.”
Dallas nodded slowly, her hands gripping the edge of the table. She needed to process this—needed time to let the idea settle in her mind. “Thank you, Shuri,” she said, her voice thick with emotion. “I don’t… I don’t even know what to say.”
“You don’t need to say anything,” Shuri replied gently. “Take the time you need. But know this, Dallas—you’ve fought so hard to get to this point. Now it’s time for us to fight for you.” _______
The sun was setting as Dallas made her way to the village, the sky painted in warm hues of orange and purple. The path was familiar now, and she followed it instinctively, her thoughts racing. She hadn’t told Bucky about Shuri’s breakthrough yet. She needed to see him, to talk to him, to share this sliver of hope even if she couldn’t fully believe in it herself.
When she reached the small hut where Bucky was staying, she found him sitting on a small stool, sharpening a knife with deliberate, practiced movements. He looked up when he saw her, his expression softening.
“Hey,” he said simply, setting the knife aside. “You okay?”
Dallas hesitated for a moment before stepping closer and sitting down on a neighboring log of wood. The cool evening air brushed against her skin, grounding her as she searched for the right words.
“I think Shuri might’ve done it,” she said finally, her voice quiet. “She thinks she’s figured out how to stop it. Permanently.”
Bucky’s brow furrowed slightly, his blue eyes scanning her face. “Stop it?” he echoed.
Dallas nods slowly, her eyes pinned to the dirt in front of her. “The mutations,” Dallas explained. “She thinks she can fix it. There’s a procedure—a surgery. It’s risky, but if it works…” She trailed off, her voice faltering. “If it works, I’ll actually… live.”
Bucky was silent for a moment, processing her words. She could see the understanding in his eyes—the way he recognized the cautious hope in her voice, the way he knew exactly why she wasn’t letting herself fully believe it yet.
“That’s good news,” he said finally, his voice calm and steady. “Isn’t it?”
Dallas nodded, her hands clasped tightly in her lap. “It is. It’s the best news I’ve had in… forever. But I’m scared, Bucky. I’m scared to hope for something I’ve never let myself believe in before. What if it doesn’t work? What if I let myself believe in it, and it just…” She shook her head, her voice breaking. “I don’t think I can take that.”
Bucky leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees as he looked at her. “I get it,” he said quietly. “Trusting something’s gone for good? It’s not easy. Every time I hear someone say the words ‘Winter Soldier,’ I still feel like I’m waiting for it to come back. For Hydra to come back.” He paused, his gaze steady. “But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to believe it’s gone.”
Dallas met his eyes, her chest tight with emotion. She could see the truth in his words—the way he carried his own cautious hope, the way he understood the constant battle between fear and belief.
“What if I can’t let myself believe in it?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
“Then don’t,” Bucky said simply. “Not yet. Just take it one step at a time. You don’t have to dive in headfirst. Just… keep moving forward. And when you’re ready, you’ll know.”
Dallas felt a tear slip down her cheek, and she quickly wiped it away. “You make it sound so easy.”
“It’s not,” Bucky admitted, his voice soft. “But you’re not doing it alone. You’ve got Shuri, and the people here. And you’ve got me.”
She smiled faintly, the weight on her chest lifting just slightly. “Thank you, Bucky.”
He nodded, leaning back slightly as the sun dipped below the horizon. They sat together in silence for a while, the world around them quiet and still. For the first time in a long time, Dallas let herself feel that faintest flicker of hope—not enough to overwhelm her, but enough to keep her moving forward. _______
The sterile glow of the lab was brighter than usual, the Wakandan technology humming softly as it prepared for the most critical procedure Dallas had ever faced. Shuri moved with her usual efficiency, her expression calm and focused as she explained the final steps to her team. Dallas sat on the edge of the surgical table, her hands fidgeting in her lap as Shuri prepared the equipment. The holograms surrounding her displayed intricate details of DNA strands, medical charts, and blueprints of the procedure that would change everything—or so they hoped.
Dallas’s nerves were on edge. The room felt colder than usual too, or maybe it was just the icy grip of fear creeping into her chest. She had decided to go through with the surgery, despite the risks, despite the uncertainty. But now that the moment was here, she couldn’t shake the knot in her stomach.
Shuri approached her, carrying a sleek Wakandan tablet. Her calm and composed demeanor was a grounding force. “We’re ready when you are,” Shuri said gently, placing a reassuring hand on Dallas’s shoulder. “How are you feeling?”
“Nervous,” Dallas admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. She glanced around the room, taking in the faces of the medical team bustling with quiet efficiency. “But… I’m ready. I think.
Shuri nodded, offering her a small smile. “You’ve got this. We’ve got this. Just trust me, alright?”
Dallas managed a faint smile, though her nerves were still buzzing. As Shuri turned to adjust one of the machines, a thought struck her, and she hesitated before speaking again. “Does Bucky know?” she asked, her voice tentative. “Does he know I’m… having the procedure today?”
Shuri tilted her head slightly, her expression softening. “He does. I told him this morning.”
The words settled in Dallas’s chest like a stone. She felt an odd pang of disappointment, though she quickly tried to push it aside. She hadn’t expected him to show up—he had no reason to, no obligation. But still, a small part of her had hoped he might. She hated herself for feeling that way, for wanting him to care enough to be here.
“Okay,” Dallas said quietly, her voice betraying none of her emotions. She forced a tight smile, hoping Shuri wouldn’t notice the flicker of hurt in her eyes. “Good. That’s good.”
Shuri studied her for a moment as if sensing the unspoken thoughts swirling in her mind. But she didn’t press. Instead, she offered a reassuring squeeze to her shoulder. “He has his own way of dealing with things,” she said gently. “But right now, this is about you. Focus on yourself, Dallas. You deserve that.”
Dallas nodded, forcing herself to breathe deeply as Shuri and her team began their final preparations. She closed her eyes, letting the hum of the machines lull her into a fragile calm. Whatever happened next, she had to believe that she’d done everything she could.
Dallas laid back on the surgical table, her heart pounding. The sterile light above her felt blinding, and she closed her eyes to block it out. She focused on her breathing, trying to calm the storm of emotions swirling inside her.
The procedure was groundbreaking, uncharted territory even for Wakanda. They were about to rewrite the very fabric of her DNA, undoing the damage her father had inflicted before she was even born. It was her one shot at survival—a chance to finally live without the constant shadow of death looming over her.
But as much as she wanted to believe in it, the fear was still there. The fear of failure. The fear of hope being snatched away again.
Shuri leaned over her, her voice steady and soothing. “Dallas, we’re going to administer the sedative now. When you wake up, it’ll be done. Just trust us, okay?”
Dallas opened her eyes, meeting Shuri’s gaze. There was so much she wanted to say, but the words felt trapped in her throat. Instead, she simply nodded. “Okay,” she whispered.
As the sedative began to take effect, her thoughts grew hazy, and her breathing slowed. The last thing she saw before her eyes closed was the faint glow of Wakandan technology surrounding her, and Shuri’s face—a calm and reassuring presence in a storm of uncertainty.
And then, she drifted into darkness, her last conscious thought a silent wish that, maybe, just maybe, this time hope would win. _______
Dallas blinked groggily, the dim light of the lab filtering through her half-open eyes. Her body felt heavy, her head spinning as she tried to make sense of where she was. The sterile scent of the room brought her back to reality—it was over. The surgery was done.
Her heart rate picked up as her eyes darted around the room. The medical equipment was still buzzing softly, the monitors displaying steady readings. But the room was empty. No Shuri. No team. Just silence.
The knot of panic began to tighten, her breathing shallow as she tried to sit up. Her hand instinctively moved to the IV in her arm, the tape tugging at her skin as she adjusted it. She tried to calm her spiraling thoughts, but the silence only fed the unease creeping into her chest. Her mind began to spiral. Was something wrong? Did it fail? Why was she alone? Panic bubbled up in her chest, but before it could fully take over, the door to the lab slid open with a quiet hiss.
Bucky stepped in, a glass of water in hand. His expression softened when he saw her awake, and he immediately moved to her side. “Hey,” he said, his voice low and steady. He set the glass down on the small table beside her and placed his hand on the back of the chair he’d clearly been sitting in before. “You’re awake. How are you feeling?”
Dallas stared at him for a moment, her panic ebbing away but confusion still lingering. “Where’s Shuri?” she asked, her voice hoarse and barely above a whisper.
Bucky exhaled softly and sat down in the chair, leaning forward slightly. “Shuri’s resting. She’s been at this for hours—she wanted to be here when you woke up, but I told her I’d stay and make sure you weren’t alone.”
Dallas’s chest tightened again, though it wasn’t from fear this time. She stared at him, her voice barely a whisper. “You stayed?”
“Yeah,” he said simply as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. “I wasn’t gonna leave you here by yourself.”
Her throat felt tight, but she forced herself to focus. “Did she say anything? About the surgery? Did it… work?” The words came out fast, almost frantic.
Bucky hesitated, his blue eyes steady as he met her gaze. “She said it’s too early to tell,” he explained gently. “Your body needs time to adjust, and they’ll have to monitor you. They need to see how everything holds up before they can say for sure.”
Dallas sank back against the pillows, her chest heavy with a mix of relief and lingering dread. She’d made it through the surgery, but the uncertainty still loomed. It wasn’t over yet.
Bucky seemed to sense her spiraling thoughts. He reached for the glass of water, holding it out to her. “Here. You’ve been out for a while. Drink.”
She took the glass, her hands trembling slightly, and took a small sip. The cool water soothed her dry throat, but it did little to calm the storm inside her. “It’s going to take time,” she echoed quietly, more to herself than to him. “That’s what Shuri said?”
“Yeah,” Bucky said. He leaned back slightly, his flesh hand resting on his thigh. “But she also said she’s optimistic. You’ve come this far, Dallas. You’ve got this.”
Dallas glanced at him, her lips pressing into a faint, wry smile. “Since when are you the optimist?” she teased lightly, though her voice was still tinged with exhaustion.
“Don’t get used to it,” he replied, a small smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. But his expression softened as he looked at her, his voice low and sincere. “I’m serious, though. You’re stronger than you think.”
Her smile faded, and for a moment, the room was quiet save for the soft hum of the machines. She looked down at the glass in her hands, her mind still racing but her heart just slightly lighter. He’d stayed. Even when she hadn’t expected him to, even when she’d tried to convince herself it didn’t matter, he’d stayed.
“Thanks,” she said finally, her voice barely above a whisper. She glanced back up at him, her eyes meeting his. “For being here.”
Bucky nodded, his gaze steady. “You don’t have to thank me.”
But the way he said it—the way he looked at her—made her feel like, for once, she wasn’t fighting this battle alone. And for the first time in a long time, she let herself hold onto that.

CRISPR Logs
Here's the current CRISPR log
This terminal is thought to be connected to Genki Nemoto's mind following a CRISPR experiment that resulted in his mind degrading at an accerlated rate. Since that page often updates, have the previous messages on there (thanks to the people on the Tetreo Discord). If I fucked up the order or something, my bad, throw me in front of a firing squad.

It is not a matter of hunger, but of erasure - of slipping inside, beneath, around the layers of skin and bone, until nothing is left but the trace of what was. You don’t devour the flesh. No, it is the soul you steal, piece by piece, in slow, agonizing pulls, like the delicate unraveling of a thread. There’s a sweetness in it, at first. A quiet pleasure in the giving and the taking, the surrender of control, the warmth that slips away like water through fingers. But then the bitterness settles, when you realize what you’ve done to the body that once stood tall, what you’ve buried beneath your teeth and fingertips - what you’ve torn and left to wither. You think you know them - perhaps you think they’ve given themselves to you. But in the end, it is only you who remains, full, bloated, hollowed out by the absence of their being, and you wonder, with a cold, gnawing dread, if you were ever really the one who did the taking at all. wIth mE too...wHAT? waS it WAs IT? You didn’t just stop at the science, Genki. You were always thinking about the bigger picture - how to make this work for real people. You said it wasn’t enough to fix the problem in a dish or a lab model; it had to be practical, accessible, and safe. I remember you spent weeks agonizing over the cost of production for your treatments.
“What’s the point of a cure,” you’d say, “if no one can afford it?” You were already designing systems to make it scalable, finding ways to use cheaper, more sustainable materials for those delivery nanoparticles, or sourcing enzymes from modified bacteria instead of expensive synthetic methods. You had this vision of a future where people wouldn’t have to watch their loved ones fade away - not from Alzheimer’s, not from cancer, not from anything that your work could stop. You told me once that your mother had arthritis so bad she couldn’t even hold your hand by the time she was forty. That was part of why you were so driven - to make sure no one else had to feel that kind of helplessness. And you were meticulous, Genki. You didn’t cut corners. You’d test and re-test, stay up all night if you had to, just to make sure every variable was accounted for. I can still hear you muttering to yourself while running simulations, double-checking every figure. “Better to be thorough now than regret it later,” you’d always say. That’s what made you different - you weren’t just smart, you were careful. Thoughtful.
[7:24 PM]You even thought about how this technology could go wrong. You used to lecture me about bioethics, about how powerful tools like senolytics or reprogramming factors could be misused. You were so careful about containment, about safeguards. You wrote protocols for how to reverse the process if something went wrong. I remember you saying, “Science without ethics isn’t progress, it’s a disaster waiting to happen.” But it wasn’t all work, either. Do you remember that night we stayed late in the lab, and you showed me that playlist you and Dr. Deng had made? You said it helped you focus, but honestly, I think you just liked sharing things you loved. I never told you, but I’ve been listening to it lately. It reminds me of you. Of how passionate you were, how alive you seemed when you were deep in your research. How much you believed in what you were doing. I know this feels far away now, Genki. I know you’re scared, and it’s hard to remember who you are, but I remember. I remember everything you stood for, everything you were trying to do. I see it in you even now, in the way you try to make sense of the world around you, even when it’s confusing and overwhelming. You’re still here, and I’m not giving up on you. I’ll tell you these stories every day if I have to. About your work, your brilliance, your kindness. About how you lit up every room you walked into, how you made people feel like they were part of something bigger. You’re still part of something bigger, Genki. And I’ll be here with you, no matter how long it takes, until you find your way back to yourself.

You had someone, Genki. Someone who loved you more than anything in the world. His name was Dr. Den Jianyu. You two met on the project, remember? It was one of those meet-cutes you’d expect to read about in a novel. You accidentally spilled tea on his research notes while you were both waiting for the same meeting to start. I remember you telling me how mortified you were, and how he just laughed and said, “Well, now they’re infused with some extra wisdom.” That’s what started it all. He was a molecular biologist - sharp as a scalpel but soft around the edges. He had this way of grounding you when you’d spiral into your endless ideas. You’d come back from your late-night walks with him, eyes brighter, voice steadier, like he gave you a little more air to breathe. You two were so different, but it worked. He could pull you out of your head when you got lost in theories, and you’d light up his world with your curiosity and energy. It was the kind of love that felt inevitable.
[9:12 PM]You proposed to him out under the zelkova clearing, didn’t you? You planned it for weeks, fussing over the details like it was a lab experiment. He said yes before you even finished asking. I’ve never seen you as happy as you were that day. You couldn’t stop talking about your future together - traveling the world, collaborating on research, getting a dog someday. You used to joke that your work was going to make people live forever, but you’d settle for just a few more decades with him. You said it’d be fine even if it only lasted a few days. You said it’d be fine even if you didn’t live to see it become legal. Even after everything happened, Genki, I know he never stopped loving you. When the experiment went wrong, when you started…changing, he stayed. He visited you every day, holding your hand, talking to you like nothing was wrong. But after a while, you stopped responding. I think it broke his heart. It broke all of us, really. He didn’t leave because he stopped caring - he left because he thought it was what you would’ve wanted. He’s doing well now. He’s a really accomplished biologist, even if he’s stuck rotting in here for now. He still sends updates sometimes, about your research. Things to add to your notes. I tell him you’re still there, still working hard. Because you are, Genki. I see it. Dr. Den always said you had this unshakable belief in people’s ability to heal. It’s why he loved you, I think. You never gave up on anyone, even when the odds were stacked against them. That’s why I’m not giving up on you now, even if you don’t remember him. Even if you don’t remember me.

Boost Business Efficiency with Handheld POS Terminals Featuring NFC Technology
Handheld POS Terminal with NFC – A Smarter Way to Accept Payments
In the ever-evolving landscape of retail, where speed and convenience define customer satisfaction, businesses are increasingly shifting toward smarter and faster payment solutions. One such innovation is the handheld POS terminal—a compact, mobile, and powerful device that allows merchants to accept non-cash payments efficiently, even outside of traditional counters.
Retailers across industries, especially those dealing in luxury products, are adopting handheld POS terminals to streamline their operations, enhance mobility, and meet the expectations of modern consumers. Whether in-store or on the go, these terminals make electronic payment processing quick, seamless, and secure.
What is a Handheld POS Terminal?
A handheld POS terminal is a wireless, portable device that enables merchants to accept payments via debit or credit cards, mobile wallets, and contactless methods. Unlike traditional POS systems, these terminals do not require a fixed connection point and can operate with Wi-Fi or cellular data, giving businesses the flexibility to transact anywhere.
These devices are designed to process payments, read card data, record transactions, and print receipts—all from the palm of your hand. The inclusion of NFC (Near Field Communication) technology allows for contactless payments, further speeding up the process and ensuring a better customer experience.
How Does a Handheld POS Terminal Work?
Using a handheld POS terminal is simple. When a customer is ready to make a payment, the seller inputs the amount into the device. The customer taps or inserts their card (or scans their mobile wallet), and the machine processes the transaction. If required, the customer enters their PIN for authentication. The device then completes the transaction and prints a receipt for both parties.
The transaction is processed wirelessly, with the funds transferred from the customer’s account to the merchant’s account through secure encryption protocols.

Common examples of this machinery include Form, Fill and Seal machines, sleeve systems, closing machines and vacuum chambers. The functionality and cost of this equipment varies by model.
Fillers and Depositors
Our fillers and depositors are designed to accurately dose a specific amount of liquid, cream or powder into packaging containers. Depending on the type of product, they can accommodate low- to high-viscosity compounds and operate as standalone units or integrate with other machines in your production line.
Using a servo-drive, the Unifiller multi-piston depositor can help you package a variety of entrée items including soups, sauces, salsas, dips and dressings into bags, cups or trays. It features a 16-gallon removable hopper for easy sanitation, an adjustable nozzle bridge for 4-8 across portioning and a diving and fixed nozzle option.
Sleeve systems are great for automating sleeving operations that are normally manual and time-consuming. They can help reduce waste and increase productivity. Capping machines are popular in soda and bottled-water factories and help close a bottle's air-tight cap. These machines are often used in conjunction with accumulation machinery and conveyors. Krones offers a range of food packaging equipment under the portfolio segments of digitalisation, process technology, bottling and packaging lines and intralogistics.
Vacuum Chambers
Vacuum chambers are large containment vessels that create a low-pressure environment. They can be designed to mimic specific environmental and atmospheric conditions, such as high altitudes. These chambers can be used to test and perform applications for manufacturing operations.
The food industry uses vacuum chambers to speed up the cooling and drying processes for products. This helps preserve a product’s cellular integrity, color, taste and appearance.
Another common use for a vacuum chamber is the creation of crystalline materials. In this process, a saturated solution of liquids is mixed and agitated so that structural solid crystal deposits will form. This is done because crystalline materials are much more stable than liquids, even in extreme temperatures and pressures.
A vacuum chamber can be fitted with a number of valves and gauges to monitor and control the process. Some vacuum chambers use a manual control system, while others require an automated controller that can make adjustments to the process.
Sleeve Systems
A sleeve system allows for an easier and faster process of labeling bottles or containers. Rather than using pre-printed labels, these sleeves are printed on film and then seamed to the bottle or container. The sleeve can then be heated with steam or electricity to fit the bottle or container perfectly.
Once on the container, a tamper evident band is added. This helps protect the product while ensuring that it is safe for consumption by consumers. Additionally, the sleeve can include full color branding and unique shaped containers to differentiate the brand from competition.
The sleeve may also be fabricated on-site, rather than being shipped to the user as a finished unit. The sleeve may be formed to an elongated generally cylindrical shape, with a tab 22 that is provided axially along one or more of the long side edges of sleeve parts 21. The axially-terminating ends of the tab 22 may be chamfered, angled, or otherwise modified as desired.
Labeling Machines
Labelling machines are used to attach labels or decorations to packaging containers. This can be either to promote a brand, communicate product details or offer tamper evidence. The machine can use wet glue or pressure sensitive (self-adhesive) labels and comes in a variety of configurations.
Usually the container or item is conveyed to the label distribution area by a conveyor belt. The labels are then positioned and fixed to the items using a roller system that ensures proper spacing between products. This is especially important for products that are round-shaped, like bottles.
Another type of labeling machine is the hot melt machine, which applies thin stripes of molten adhesive to a paper label and wraps it around a product, such as a soup or paint can. Activated by a foot or hand switch, this machine is incredibly fast and offers high-quality labeling results. This type of machine is ideal for labelling large-volume containers. SaintyCo labeling machines come in different options and designs.

Pooja
16 years.
The date was displayed with vivid eloquence by the woody beige cubes that adorned the desk, posing a match with the minimalism of the room.
It was a preposterous fact.
Glassy ambers switched perspective in a progressive motion, and they interpreted the solitary shine of the table lamp on the transparent surface.
Four glowing smiles, two tiny toddlers sat on their parents' lap.
It does not feel surreal. Neither a tale of a bygone era.
It was not her past. It was her present, her life's gears were turned by this very photograph.
Her bracelet adorned hand held it close to her heart, which beat in a meteoric rhythm.
The cacophonous tunes from the fiesta painfully pierced through her reverie, cajoling her to close the mahogany doors that lead to her cocoon.
The flamboyant kantha stitched lehenga proved to be burdensome to carry.
With ponderous steps, Pooja settled down on the couch, pulling her feet to herself.
She wanted to be ten again. Not eleven.
Terminate the time when she could be that blithe girl, rolling dices with her mother.
But there was a specific reason why the reminisces came back stronger than any usual day.
Somewhere in the remote land, in a cholera-stricken district, a summery blue-eyed man spent his days in seclusion.
And occupied the chambers of her cerebral hemispheres.
What was the pain of being left alone with only emotions as a companion without as much as a message?
She wiped her cheek, only to discover the black of her eyeliner now adorning her fingers.
She had been crying.
When? She could not feel the tears that left smokey meanders on the map of her face.
The heartbreak and the circumstances had numbed her feelings. All she wanted was an embrace.
Why did his peach lips mark her as his if this was the end in sight?
She refused to accept it. The end.
She placed her foot down, not feeling the pierce of a pin fallen down against her skin.
Drops of scarlet marked her track as she retouched the smear of her face.
Time to go and socialize.
Ethan
Of everything to look at in the shiny cellular, his eyes now traced the pristine form of the lady who now inhabited every one of his senses.
The comely picture made her look ravishing and the adamant neurons started pulling out manila folders with her memories kept in them.
No. He cannot.
The fiery golden liquid disappeared faster than it had been poured.
He had found himself on the crossroad of whether to type out the words that played in a loop in his mind or not.
I miss you!
He always chose the latter.
He had already given her a false hope.
Of a future of them.
He did not want to do it again.
Only now he realizes that it was a hope he had given himself as well when he first took that sacred form of hers into his arms.
And that he ran away. Like a coward.
Ethan Ramsey the coward.
Who could not fight for them.
Who could not fight for her.
Who could not fight for Lo-
No.
He did not let the word complete. The very thought was dangerous.
Throwing the classy cylinder he had been holding with a deathly grip, he poured the last bit of that glass bottle in him.
And walked over hurriedly, the tiny glass pieces stabbing him, to again begin the reset.
One which would never complete.

Next Day
Pooja
The ethereal moon spread out the beams of serenity all over the ceremonious night.
It was a lively affair. Merrymaking and cultural programs went on, as she stood amidst the cheery atmosphere with a sombre expression.
In front of Pooja, was the masterfully sculpted idol of the Mother Goddess, standing majestically as the centrepiece of the celebration. She was the epitome of power, the Mahisasura Mardini.
The recollections of an unforgettable past come as paper-planes drifting in a gentle air, carrying the playfulness, a child's happy smiles. A time when her mother would take Pooja to the mythological lands through her words, and they would get lost like flying butterflies in fairytale land.
The tunes of Bengali music float in the gentle air, and she hums along. The first song her mom had taught her, also for a Durga Puja function. Her mom was deeply rooted in all of them, the culture of Bengal kept alive by her. She was the reason why Pooja could become a part of a community she takes pride in.
Even now, so many years later, things don't change. They hold on to these roots like they are holding onto their life, not letting them disappear.
It feels like holding onto her, keeping her alive.
Recreating a small piece of her favourite Kolkata in Bhopal.
But the aura of calm hid like the clouds covering the sun's shine. The piercing pain of heartbreak came back, the wound untreated.
The soft sand of her life's hourglass prickles, solitary grains floating to join their siblings. The wish of them defying gravity and going back to bring the 10th year of her life had never been so strong as it was now.
The heavy jewellery tugged at her ears, letting her know their presence and the styled hair gave her a throbbing headache.
Her tiredness and exhaustion, now fuelling back in her veins refusing to let her bring back that sense of peace she experienced moments ago.
Around her people wore phoney smiles. All they cared about was unimportant Tommy rot. Not a single one of them stepped back from criticizing the others behind their backs.
It was a saga of inflated egos, of constant competition, to make the next person look inferior.
She was tired.
Of people running away, Of abandonment, Of hopes getting dashed.
Why did his thoughts keep coming back? After all, he did make it clear, didn't he?
But did he really succeed? Did his efforts head? Did his heart finally give in to his relentless demand?
Did he really forget her?
All the messages that lay not replied, unheard voicemails, she was sure he had.
But that colour of his he left on her?
The piece of his heart that was protected by her?
Would he be able to forget them?
An earthen lamp flickered in front of her, bud she did no rush to save it.
If it goes out, then let it.
Just like the never-ending load shedding of her life.
But it didn't.
It was a wish, a hope that kept it alive.
The sweet nothings he had whispered to her, the gentle kisses he lined on her forehead.
They had promised her forever.
His being enveloped her, she doubted if it would ever break.
The hope of him & her flickers every now and then, just like the earthen lamp.
But did it go off?
It couldn't.
Because there was no wind strong enough to extinguish it.
The possibility of him and her.
The realization and a blackness hit her at the same time.
And as she fell, her mind held on to only it.
The possibility of him and her.
Ethan
If the Great Thinkers from BCs before were asked if going to a beer garden after spending 2 months in another continent and a 13hr long flight was a sensible thing to do, they would have watched the questioner in bewilderment.
And he agreed. He was not being sensible, not even 1%.
The urge to see her, to gaze at her moonly face, to know that she okay.
It had never been so strong. He felt his mind would give up on him if he could not locate her today.
Not that he had stopped the forgetting process, absolutely not.
It was just a solace, a bandage to the scars he had given himself.
That she would be okay even if he was not there with her.
Focus fixed on keeping his gaze as unhurried as possible, he looked around, putting the well-trained ears and eyes to work.
And then he saw them.
All her friends clustered at a table, merrily clinking beer bottles and sharing happy glances. His eyes pierced into the scene, but he could not locate her.
A step or two brought him close, the desperateness making his heart go crazy.
But the conclusion shattered every bit of sense and calm, dissipated the hope of getting to see here.
She was not here.
His face fell like someone who had lost the thing they hold the closest to their heart.
She, really, was not here.
He really wanted to ask the residents sitting at the table in question, to get some, any, news on her.
But his rational mind still existed, and it was the only thing that stopped him from going haywire.
She was not here.
He took out the notorious cuboid chiming in his pocket, full of satirical typed phrases his cerebrum refused to decrypt.
But it was adamant to get his attention.
A scoff escaped like a habit.
As if anyone could be powerful enough to take his attention away from her.
He was caught in a maze of her memories, his time in the continent thousands of kilometres away and the ghoul of feelings chasing him deeper into it, making him yearn for her solace, the moistness of a forlorn kiss on his forehead, the gentle swipe of a thumb to take his tears away.
His way was lost in there, every turn making him end up more challenged. But even if he did not want to, he had to find the way out.
His soul was like a thorn who could only hurt the tender flower that she was.
What he did not realize was that she was a rose, her being was amidst thorns.
She had the power to beautify them.
The click of the turn-on sound, brought him back to the piece of work his fingers were creating on the light emanating screen.
And in seconds that passed too fast, he saw his heart's treasure,
She was here.
Not in footsteps & whispers.
She was here.
Not in touches and kisses.
She was here.
Not in muscle and bone.
But in labyrinths of his heart, in filmstrips of his memory, in sensations that made him go wild,
She was here.
(With him forever, she was not the one to leave his side)

PS: I HC the end of 1st year of their residency being in Sept-Oct, which is the time of Durga Puja in India. And since Poo is half Bengali, and she never misses any tradition involving her mom's side of the fam, so she would not have been at Boston then. (Or take it as an excuse to increase angst potential) Anyway, Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a great day ahead! Love, Manamee🧡.

Homemade Cells - How You Can Make A Solar Cell
Everyone has a cell phone these days that they take everywhere they proceed. The number of individuals with cell phones has experienced a constant rise with new cellular companies opening up regularly as well as going everyone is working to. As per recent estimates, over 80% of the population has cell phone coverage. Technology has reached places far away, but somewhere the standards have dumped. Companies blame various factors, but customers have not do these people. All that a cell phone user needs is good reception. With some sites, you don't even have to bother about paying shipping. They'll mail you a pre-paid envelope with a tracking number included. Each day do is pack your phone up, and mail it while. A tracking number allows for you to definitely keep track of your phone for every step of its journey, anyone know exactly what stage of the sale it's up when you need to. When your phone is received and processed, you may have your cash through PayPal, or as the check foods high in protein deposit to your savings account. You never have to be concerned about contacting buyers, posting advertisements, competing compared to other sellers, or anything else. The company handles the whole thing of selling old cell phones for cash for you, so all you should do is sit as well as wait for your cash to enter once your phone is received and processed. The Omni antenna receives the signal from all directions, and it also transmits all instructional materials. This means inside antenna can impact the signal if this too in order to the outside omni aerial. You need to have a signal to begin with to boost it. If you have no signal there is not to turbo-charge. Several things can affect your incite. Wet trees, weather, brick siding in your own home, metal, hills, ability lines and mostly, distance to the cell tower system. Use retention plans to your advantage. If you do not possess a contract with a Cell phone carrier, you're able call customer service, explain that having it . happy utilizing current service, and ask to be transferred to your retentions part. You will be able to get extremely cheap cell phone plans possess excellent features, because Cell phone carriers will complete a lot to help you as a buyer. For this tip, make going to refer towards "getting you actually want" below, to make sure your conversation with buyer service representative goes effortlessly. The last time I used this method, I got able to decrease my costs by 30% and get about double as many features while had before, saving me $700 yr! The telecom buyout sector is just a little over 10 years old. In this particular short time period time there have been some major consolidations, causing many to suffer the unimaginable, lease end. Let me report a few that affected many: Cingular and AT&T merger will swiftly affect between 8,000 and 20,000; Sprint & Nextel merger cost 20,000 lease holders' their monthly checks; Verizon and Alltel merger could eventually end as numerous as 10,000 cell lease terminations. A short while ago, handphones had a limited telescopic antenna that reduce raise or lower. This migrated to small stub fixed antennas located opening into your cell phone, along with off to what is now used predominantly which is really a "Patch" antenna, a small wafer about 1" x 1/2 " in size placed behind the back cover of the phone ( not the batter cover). These patch antennas work almost in addition to telescopic ones, but inherently are much less efficient. Which means that "Not all cell phones are created equal". Specific different mobile phone devices produce different power standard.
Tumblr media
So an individual switch into a prepaid cell plan? Foods high in protein only decide after you compare the cost of the associated with phone plan that want with the cost of the contract post-paid offers. You can try out a prepaid phone plan and cancel it without penalty if you need to switch in order to a reduce. Your only loss might end up being the cost for this phone this cannot provide with your contracted service. You can switch your current phone number from one carrier into the next, if the carrier provides prepaid or post paid services. At period only military and big business had access these people. Business with years in business is unquestionably assuring using. Log into the search website and stick to the directions.

Been thinking about my oc Warden again. Might play with his design a little more, too, we’ll see. In the meantime, here’s some notes on him:
Warning for vague naughtiness and safe vore mentions below the cut. ;)
+++++
+Excuse me, officer, that’s my Emotional Support Creeper
+The chillest, chonkiest, and most well-adjusted of all my Trollhunters ocs by a long shot.
+For those new to him, he’s a changeling who runs a lucrative side-business where he uses his big troll form as a “one-of-a-kind lifelike animatronic run by cutting-edge AI tech” for “simulated” experiences with human clients. Proceeds go to the Janus Order, but he keeps a cut to keep his cover smooth and occasionally indulge in luxuries. He meets all kinds of people, and enjoys interacting with them in contexts where they aren’t frightened (or truly frightened). Gives amazing aftercare and massages (whether anything spicy happened or not, if that’s what a client wants. It’s not all spicy, but he does enjoy indulging such whims, within his own limits).
+He’s got strict rules to keep people safe in these instances (repeat customers mean more money and connections). He can get rough if they want, but he has his own limits as to how rough he’ll go. Will pin people (not enough to crush them) and make them recite The Rules (discussed later) if they try to ignore them because “he’s a machine, he’s not real”. That’s his first warning. Any subsequent violations terminate the session. No refunds.
+Disaster Bi/Pan. Very romantic and enjoys making clients (and partners outside work) feel thoroughly cared for. Doesn’t get attached as easily as he seems to, but when he falls, he falls hard.
+Has a weakness for stories about superheroes with secret identities. Will occasionally do vigilante work, and covers his tracks carefully.
+Diligent about his hygiene. On one hand, he sees it as respectful to his Familiar to keep his human form clean and good looking. (Though this sometimes looks like vanity to those who don’t know any better. He really is quite vain about his troll form, though.) And on the other, humans tend to be far pickier (even if less sensitive) than trolls about smell, and his side-business model relies on reassuring them that they’re in a safe, clean, relaxing environment.
+In his human form, he plays one of the bartenders and bouncers for a hotel near the wilderness that is classier and more successful than anyone paying attention to it would suspect, given its somewhat remote location. It sees just enough traffic (including private events and conventions) to maybe justify it, and he contributes some of his earnings to helping the place thrive. It’s his cover, where his clients meet him face-to-(human)-face, so he’s invested in keeping it respectable, which also helps encourage clients to come back for more. He also drives his clients to the even more remote caves (warded by enchantments that disguise signals to give false reports of where they actually are to any tracking devices or scrying attempts) where the scenarios take place, and drives them back to the hotel afterward. Before a session, his human form takes the client(s) to the room where the session will occur, and he “leaves to monitor the AI” through an off-limits passage that loops through a fake “control room” to another, bigger passage for his troll form to enter from.
+The humans working at the hotel have an understanding with him, though they don’t know what he is. He occasionally departs to see to this “side business”, and so long as nobody questions or talks about it, or puts a tracker on his car, or any shenanigans like that, he contributes a cut of his pay to the hotel. It also helps that he’s a dependable and amiable co-worker, and no one around him has suspiciously vanished yet.
+Still, some employees feel like it’s a deal with a devil. He’s been there long enough that it’s starting to become apparent that he either uses a damn good moisturizer, or he doesn’t age. That, and he’s preternaturally strong and fast. On the rare occasions that fights break out, he ends them quickly, and his injuries recover fast despite his avoidance of hospitals. He’s getting to the point where he’s going to have to start fresh elsewhere soon.
+More relaxed in his troll form, but for different reasons than Dezoka. He sees his human form as borrowing his familiar’s image, prefers to treat it with dignity, and doesn’t take disrespect to it lightly.
+Before his current business model, he used to rob banks as an outlaw. Proceeds also went to the Janus Order to help fund their operations.
+Primarily relies on his size, strength, and situational awareness in (and before) combat. He’s not an especially skilled fighter compared to Dezoka, Ulvek, or Zahnn, (he’s a bit out of practice since his outlaw days, and it’s been a long, long time since he’s had to contend with the Darklands) but he’s resilient, observant, and hits hard.
+Loves to eat people (in all the fun ways). His stomach can double as a portable high-security safe holding cell. Not a big fan of keeping prisoners that way. He’ll bitch and grumble, but he’ll still do it if he thinks he has to. Prefers willing participants. He’s kinda spoiled on them, and the idea of someone trusting him enough for it makes him really happy, and is his favorite indulgence.
+Where that particular bit of physiology is concerned, I’ve been thinking of designing a group of trolls with this trait and figuring out how his particular safe vore shenanigans might work. Warden’s stomach lining is peppered with many thousands of specialized, regenerating cellular nodes that exchange O2 and CO2 gases from his own bloodstream for his “guest’s” benefit, so suffocation isn’t an issue for anyone inside so long as Warden can keep breathing. His stomach also contains a mild acid that won’t do much more than gently exfoliate and disinfect open wounds (it’s got a pH of about 4 or 5, which I think is typically alright for skin anyway). The acidity ramps up in cases where a high amount of necrotic tissue is detected, to digest it before it rots further, and to kill any infection that might in turn infect him. This can also damage any living tissue still attached to the dead stuff, which will hurt for anyone still alive (so it’s not a good treatment for seriously injured folks), but after the dead tissue is eaten away, the pH will return to a more neutral zone - but remain acidic enough to keep open wounds disinfected as a guest’s body recovers. His stomach can also mildly aid recovery through gentle contractions to massage a guest and improve circulation while they’re curled up in there. But he will use his hands a lot, too. He loves being full and holding people this way.
+‘The Rules’ (including safe words) are customizable and negotiated before a session is even paid for, both for clarity’s sake, and “for programming adjustments”. All involved decide what they want and what their boundaries are. A client can change their mind if they decide they don’t actually want to do something, but Warden will not agree to any last minute additions that involve a safety/trauma risk. For example, if a client decided that they want him to swallow them whole, they can change their mind mid-session if they’re too nervous to go through with it (and can change their mind back again if they decide that they actually feel ready). But if they ask him to do it during a session where that was not planned, he will decline. Reluctantly. Even if it's safe, he understands it can also be really terrifying for those who aren’t ready, and he prefers to err on the side of caution where that’s concerned. Fearplay is great, and he loves playing up the role of a wicked, cruel predator - but that's the sort of thing that has to be discussed first so the client knows they have the power to stop it if it gets too intense.
+How to convince him that you’re Evil Incarnate: He has a sweet tooth and a serious weakness for foodplay and stuffing. It’s the most effective way to tease the daylights out of him, so he always gets a bit nervous when this comes up in establishing a session’s Rules. Doesn’t fluster easily, but just thinking about this will do it. Especially loves it as a prelude to vore. Will also do this without vore, but it’s kind of a struggle to hide just how wildly hungry and desperate that leaves him. He’ll be a professional about it, and he won’t violate The Rules or try to pressure a client/partner no matter how desperate he gets. Stuffing himself silly doesn’t fix it, either, it just leaves him delirious and aching for live, warm squirming in his stomach. Belly rubs and mouthplay are the cruelest little cherries on top. If he thinks his client/partner knows what they’re doing to him, he’ll be ticked off, but also impressed and intimidated. Either way, he won’t be able to stop thinking about them and wanting to take them somewhere nice and hold their hand and move in together and sappy stuff like that. And eat them, of course. He’ll lose a lot of sleep over just how badly he wants to eat them.

In 1598, following in the tradition of previous Popes, Pope Clement VIII ruled that no Christian could be treated by a Jewish Doctor, thus barring Christians from seeking treatment from any Jewish Physician. Bear in mind that virtually every Pope in history had had a personal Physician who was Jewish. In May 2020, the so-called 'Palestinian Leadership' ruled that no 'Palestinian' could be treated for COVID-19 using equipment sent by the UAE that had landed on Israeli soil. Bear in mind that virtually every 'Palestinian Leader' (or a member of their family) had at some point received potentially life-saving treatment in an Israeli Hospital. This is the vile hypocrisy of Antisemitism. COVID-19, like Ebola, Dengue, Smallpox and Sars before it, will eventually fade into the background, with a potential vaccine at hand to combat it should it reoccur. Sadly, there is no known cure (or vaccine) for Antisemitism. 80 years ago, it went unchecked, and killed over 6 million men, women and children. NEVER AGAIN * For those who are finding it difficult to read the (very long) list of Jewish Nobel Prize Winners in the Medical Field on our meme, here it is. A few people have asked why Jonas Salk, who discovered the Polio vaccine is not on the list. Sadly (and totally unjustly), Salk was never awarded a Nobel Prize :
