This year's Met Gala looks did not do it for me tbh. Maybe this is just because I love art conservation, but I wish people went a little less Garden, a little more Time. Where is the rot? The decay? The oxidation? The fraying? The buckling? The warping? The discoloration? The missing beadwork? The 300 years of dirt and oil and dust buildup? THE THEME?

Ayo Edebiri in Loewe at the Met Gala; in a more obvious interpretation of the theme. But the fading flowers are cool :) although the Dan Levy look with the flowers fading into black is more to my liking. Her make-up artist Dana Delaney wanted to complement her dress with a radiant, blooming [cheeks] and clean look as well as flowers in her hair.

But why is her dress not fitted in the front, the straps in the back are meant to be looser but overall it only looks really good from the side as in the first picture...I had such high hopes for her look :D
