China's Flora Tour: Lady's slipper orchids #BeijingExpo #HorticulturalExpo #FloraofChina #nature The pouches resemble lady's slippers and nod elegantly from the top of the plant, which is closed tightly except for a small opening in the front. The plant used to be quite widespread around the world has suffered a severe decline due to poaching and habitat destruction. https://www.instagram.com/p/B05Xuv2h4l0/?igshid=1q8zzek4zs8tk

Chinese alpine plant: Primula pinnatifida (syn. Primula apoclita), pic 1&2. My first impression was it is a Primula deflexa (pic 3&4), then realised it is quite different.
