Fluffvember Day 17 : Starlight - Aymeric
Estinien's arm pressing against mine made for a comfortable point of warmth as we sat at Ishgard's edge, our feet dangling over the Sea of Clouds churning far below. Overhead, stars uncountable shone, bright points of light to pierce the never-ending darkness of the Sea of Stars, and in the silence that blanketed the night there was only the two of us, caught between twin oceans above and below, with only the chill breeze swirling about our ankles as accompaniment.
I swung my feet over the open air, leaning back and tilting my head up to watch the stars. They twinkled down at me, eternal and unchanging, their light the same as it had ever been - a comfort in its constancy. "I used to come out here and sit like this when I needed time to myself to think," I said softly, unwilling to break the spell of peace that shrouded us. Estinien glanced at me before following my gaze up to the heavens, but he said nothing, merely waiting for me to continue.
"I would come out and watch the distant stars, and though I am no astrologian, sometimes I felt as though I could read the answers to all of my problems in the depths of the night. It's humbling, to stare up and know that I am but a single part of a universe that defies my comprehension." I lapsed into silence for a long moment, eyes tracing the familiar constellations, the same paths they'd worn time and time again in this very spot. The habit was soothing, even now when my heart felt lighter than it had in all my memory.
"I spent a lot of time here as a teenager, and every time I was granted leave from the Temple Knights. When I found myself adrift in a sea of the unknown, or when the half-veiled whispers of my peers turned my mind into an odious mire." A soft laugh bloomed in the chill air before me. "I came here particularly often after we first met." I shot him a sidelong glance and was surprised to find him watching me, his gaze unreadable in the dim starlight. "I worried my attraction to you would sully our friendship - or sometimes I came just to lament your exceptional rudeness." He chuckled, and I fell silent again for a long moment as I returned my eyes to the sky, the stillness between us broken only by our quiet breathing and the movement of my legs over the city's edge.
"The last time I sat here," I continued softly, "you were in the clutches of Nidhogg, and the stars had held no answers for me. Neither had the two bottles of wine I'd drunk." I looked to him again, those stormy eyes seeming to swallow me whole as soon as I met his gaze, losing myself in their endless depths. "I much prefer it like this, with contentment in my heart - and you at my side."
"As do I," he agreed, breaking his silence at last. He leaned his shoulder into me, the touch warming my heart as much as my body. "I am glad this place has provided you such peace over the years - and glad to be able to share it with you now." His hand rose to tip up my chin, his lips capturing mine in a kiss replete with the chill of the night air and the comfort of Estinien. When he pulled back, a soft smile graced his lips, and my own curled automatically in response. And even with the majesty of the Sea of Stars spread out before us, there was no sight of rather gaze upon that his smile.

Fluffvember
Since’s there is a FFXIV Fluffvember prompt thing floating about, I decided to use it to practice with my writing. I think it would be a good motivator to help me to get better with my storytelling plus satisfy my self indulgent needs so yes, brace thyself with a LOT of WoLxNPC content. A kind reminder if this type of content isn’t your cup of tea, just scroll on and be on your merry way because no one is forcing ya to read my imaginative mess. I will try to write something each day depending if I have an idea for it; if not then oh well (I’m just gonna act like I’m writing a journal entry). The length of the entries may vary so yeah, lets do this thing!

Fluffvember Prompt #29 Confess
Characters: Silva Cataracta, Ricmorn Cataracta, and Hien Rijin. As well as two little ones~
Rating: General
Notes: WHEW this one was a little challenging to write. Mostly because there will be a scene like this in my longfic, but it's going to happen differently, and because I was running out of energy/brain cells writing this out and had a difficult time conveying how I wanted this scene to go 😂So it's short, sweet, and to the point! But it's still adorable in its own way. Words contained in [brackets] are in another language, in this case, it's Doman.
Content Warnings/Additional Tags: Polyamory Relationship (V Relationship), M/F/M Relationship, Anxiety, Nervousness, Brief Mentions of Childhood Trauma (so brief, you'll miss it if you blink), Playful Banter/Teasing, Kissing, Pregnancy, Mentions of Contraceptives, Mentions of Difficulty Conceiving, Domestic Fluff. If I forgot to tag something, I'm so sorry!

Fluffvember Prompt #22 Formal
Characters: Silva Cataracta, Ricmorn Cataracta, and Hien Rijin (Aymeric, Lyse, and Alisaie are also mentioned here, but they do not speak.)
Rating: Mature
Notes: Slowly catching up on the prompt list for this challenge! Holidays and other writing projects are keeping me busier than I thought they would. But enjoy this rather long one shot The scene takes place sometime after Shadowbringers 5.3! There is no mention of anything from MSQ/Story, so no spoilers here! The relationship between Silva and Hien is still very much a well kept secret from their friends/the world. Words contained in [brackets] are in another language, in this case, it's Doman.
Content Warnings/Additional Tags: Polyamory Relationship (V Relationship), M/F/M Relationship, Playful Banter/Teasing, Jealousy, Mentions of Unrequited Love, Suggestive Sexual Themes, Food, Alcohol/Drinking, Heavy Kissing, Groping, Implied Eventual Threesome, Domestic Fluff.
The low whistle coming from behind Silva as she fiddled with the white rose hairpin made her smile.
“You look stunning, my dear.”
She didn’t have to look in the mirror to know who was waiting for her to finish getting ready. “To be fair, you always say that, Ricmorn,” she laughed, shaking her head. The Auri woman made sure the decorative hairpiece was where she wanted it, tilting her head in a few different directions to see if it would slip. When it remained, she sighed softly, relieved. “Also, considering we are married and bonded, I believe you’re legally obligated to say such things to me.”
The joke made him laugh. Silva couldn’t help giggling with him, the bubbly sound mixing in with hearty rumbles that shook his chest and shoulders as he crossed the room to meet her. When she turned around, the white mage caught her slender waist in his hands.
“I mean it, Silv — always,” Ricmorn promised. And there was no trace of teasing in his voice, at least not this time.
And she was. The long, flowing midnight blue dress she wore was perfection.
He loved the radiant grin she gave him, a flash of white teeth and fangs. The one that chased away haunting shadows and brightened his world. A grin that never failed to make his heart race. Beautiful.
“Thank you,” she whispered, leaning up to press a chaste kiss to his cheek. How she didn’t wobble in her high heels was a miracle. One she hoped would continue for the next several bells. “It’s not too much. Is it? Miki is still here and can help me change dresses if you think so.”
Silva still couldn’t believe it took her nearly all week to decide what to wear. Tataru had crafted many dresses for her since she joined the Scions many years ago, all of the gowns beautiful in their own ways, and she was always happy to create more if nothing felt right. This dress caught her eye only bells earlier when she dug through her closet — one she hadn’t worn before. (She didn’t even remember what function this dress was supposed to be for.) But when Tataru came over to see what she had settled on, she practically squealed in delight and gave the Au Ra her approval to wear it.
This dress was… different. A little outside of her comfort zone — something new and exciting and unexpected. It would certainly catch the attention of their friends and those invited to the Alliance Gala.
But it was the unwanted attention she worried most about.
He shook his head, a low growl rumbling in his throat. “No, no— You look fantastic! Do not change a thing, sweetheart,” he assured, returning the kiss and offering a smile.
And she was.
The long, flowing midnight blue dress she wore was perfection. The long slit in the fabric, stopping at the middle of her thigh, showed off her lean legs and strappy heels. Each time the skirt moved with her, the fabric would glitter in the light, reminding Ricmorn of the night sky filled with stars. The corset top hugged her in all the right places, making her curves and chest stand out. Sterling silver embedded with glimmering sapphires decorated her neck and horns, matching the delicate flower piece pinned in her short purple and magenta waves.
His wife was absolutely gorgeous tonight.
And he couldn’t count how many times his gaze outlined the sweetheart neckline — how many times he lingered at her cleavage.
All he would have to do was just slightly loosen the ribbons at her back, holding the corset closed. It wouldn’t take much for her full breasts to pop free and— Gods help him. Tonight would be a long one.
At least he wouldn’t be the only one suffering from the desire to drag her away from the party and strip her bare.
Her exhale of relief was music to his horns — and snapped him out of his thoughts. “Okay, good!” she breathed, smoothing her hands over her long skirt. “O-oh! You look rather dashing yourself, my love.”
But Ricmorn always looked fucking incredible in a black suit. It was absurd. How Tataru tailored the fabric perfectly over his tall frame and broad shoulders each time she made one for him never failed to amaze her. How much she wanted to wrap the matching black silk tie around her hand and yank his head down for searing kisses. The thought alone was enough to make her giddy.
However, his smile didn’t last, quickly twisting into a smirk as his sky-blue eyes roamed over Silva’s body again. Ricmorn was acutely aware of how her cheeks flushed a pretty shade of lilac at his gawking. “Your beloved lord will have difficulty keeping his hands off you once he finally corners you, though. You know that, yes?” he teased, brushing his knuckles against her warm cheeks. Another low growl escaped him when her blush darkened. “His eyes will be glued to you the entire time and he’ll have trouble staying focused while in boring conversations with nobles and… other people.”
“Aymeric,” she deadpanned, resting her hands on her hips. “You mean Aymeric, right?”
The way his eyes narrowed, a deep scowl painting his handsome features, almost made her laugh. “You’d think he’d understand by now that your heart lies elsewhere and a relationship between you will never happen.” And when Aymeric learned how her love not only rested in Ricmorn's hands but in Hien’s, too, he couldn’t wait to rub it in his face.
The “poor” Lord Commander of Ishgard would shit bricks when news of their relationship broke.
Silva shrugged, her long tail swishing behind her. “He’ll have his hopes and dreams dashed once more, so enough. No need to fret.”
“He’s been told plenty of times by now — many of them before you and Hien became a couple—”
“Yes, yes — I know. But we are dawdling now, Ricmorn. We’ll be late to the gala if we do not hurry!” She didn’t have to admit it aloud. She was eager to see her other lover — they'd been apart too long. The mention alone was enough to make her heart beat faster.
Ricmorn took the hint, offering his arm out for her to take. “Then let us be off, my dear. The sooner we arrive, the quicker we can leave.”
Or… sneak out and whisk the young lord away with them.
Ricmorn had been correct about his statement: Hien could not take his eyes off her.
From the moment Silva entered the ballroom with her husband, the couple offering their greetings to their close friends and allies, she had his full attention. She had to hide a giggle behind a hand when he swore in Doman when their gazes met. His poor jaw nearly hit the floor as he looked at her up and down!
(Aymeric’s blue eyes devoured her, but it was easy to ignore his gaze — it didn’t affect her as much as Hien’s or Ricmorn’s did. It didn’t light her ablaze like they did.)
Her reaction to seeing him in formal Doman clothing was nearly the same. Ricmorn told her if she wasn’t careful, she would start smacking people and well decorated tables with her swishing tail. He looked dashing in regalia fitting of a king, nearly mirroring the appearance of his usual clothes. The only thing that remained the same between the outfits was his sheathed katana. His trusty blade never left his side.
(As if she could blame him. Not when she always kept a carefully concealed dagger or two hidden on her person at all times if she couldn’t summon any of her weapons from the aether.)
Silva felt his curious eyes on her no matter what she did. Whether she lingered around her Lyse and some of the ladies in their friend group, catching up. She felt them burn into her when she shared dances with Ricmorn, her uncle, or other nobles vying for her attention. She felt them when she flagged down a server for flute glasses filled with bubbly wine to down in several gulps as she felt the heat of his gaze — a poor attempt to cool herself down. To stop the flush staining her cheeks from bleeding down her neck and into her chest. None of it worked.
Of course, it didn’t. Hien and Ricmorn just had that effect on her.
The warmth spreading across her skin and body worsened when she caught him and her husband staring at her from across the room. Hungry sky-blue and peridot orbs traced invisible paths along her exposed skin and roamed up and down her leg when the long slit exposed the limb. It was as if they touched her without using their hands and fingers. Stealing the air from her lungs and making her heart threaten to beat free from her chest with their eyes alone. They knew all the places they could graze and linger on her body to make her sing. To make her come undone, time and time again.
Such sweet, arousing torture and no one else in the room was none the wiser. It was unbelievably unfair.
Eventually, after nearly two and a half bells of distractions and discussing duties, the young lord made her way over to her. Silva stood in the back of the room beside Ricmorn when Aymeric called for attention as he readied some speech about how grateful he and the other Alliance leaders were for the mass attendance that practically made the Auri couple invisible. She tried her best not to laugh at something her husband muttered under his breath when she felt muted sparks run up her arm as gentle fingers grazed her skin. Sea-green eyes turned and found peridot orbs staring right back at her, filled with amusement as Hien grinned at her.
“May I steal you away for a moment, Silva?” he murmured, keeping his voice low so no one overheard.
What a silly thing to ask, as if he needed to ask her such a question in the first place. As if she somehow wouldn’t willingly say yes and follow him wherever he went.
Excitement swelled within her chest. “Of course,” she breathed, returning Hien's smile. And praying she didn’t sound as breathless aloud as she did in her horns.
Judging by how Ricmorn smirked out of the corner of her eye, her silent prayer fell deaf to the gods and kami.
“Ricmorn, if anyone asks—”
“Done. Do not worry about it, my dear,” he promised, gently squeezing her waist before letting go. The second he did, Hien’s arm warped around her in his place. “Go enjoy your moment alone with him. I’ll find you both should people start to annoy me with ridiculous questions.”
Bless him — she didn’t know what she would do without him.
She murmured her thanks before slipping away with the young lord, which was surprisingly easy for them to do as Aymeric still spoke to the room.
The Doman pair did their best to be quick but silent. Stifling their laughter with their hands or by biting their lips and tongues. They traveled down several hallways, some long and some short, until they found a little alcove far away enough from the rest of the guests to tuck themselves into. Their rumbling chuckles and bubbly giggles finally broke free then, knowing they were alone and safe.
And the second her back hit the cool stone wall behind her, and he caged her in, they let themselves get lost in one another.
Silva breathed his name before his mouth slanted over hers, one of his hands settling at her slender waist while the other carefully weaved fingers into her hair. The kiss was deep, lingering, and full of longing and sweetness of reunion after being apart for so long. But there was a hunger there. It simmered between them, waiting for the right moment to break free. She could feel it with each brushing of their lips — tasted it on her tongue. She sensed it in the way Hien gradually pressed his body into hers, further pressing her into the wall. Almost as if he could somehow meld himself to her.
And she wanted it and everything else he had to offer.
So when she felt his warm tongue run along the seam of her mouth, a teasing flick that made desire burn brightly within her, she let him in. Silva parted her mouth for him to do as he pleased, her arms wrapping around his neck and shoulders, coaxing him closer. Pulling him impossibly closer to her until he groaned into her opened mouth. Oh— Oh, if that strangled sound didn’t further ignite the heat building in her core. His tongue found hers to tangle and dance with as he devoured her soft whimpers. Kisses so hot and bruising and oh so right. The little sounds turned into a sharp moan when he tightened his fingers in her short purple and magenta waves, tilting her head slightly to the side so he could lick deeper into her mouth. And she let him. She let him take and take and take from her until her lungs screamed for air.
“[My heart!]” the dancer gasped after she forced her mouth away from his. The cold Ishgard air burned as it went down her throat and filled her lungs, cooling her from the inside out.
Hien hummed at the moniker she used with him — and only him. His lips moved to her jaw and throat, leaving behind kisses, swipes of tongue, and gentle grazing of teeth wherever they went. None of it was hard enough to decorate her skin with scarlet marks, but kami, he wished. “[Wildflower,]” he rumbled against her throat, placing a feather-light kiss over her thundering pulse. “[My beloved wildflower, I have missed you so.]”
And she missed him just as much.
Silva cupped his face and tugged his mouth back to hers, stealing more of his addicting kisses while they were alone. The new kisses were slower, more patient. They weren't as heated as the last ones they exchanged. But the hunger was still there, lingering under the surface. An unspoken promise of more for later on when they were behind locked doors and naked.
A promise they both looked forward to fulfilling.
When they parted again, Hien rested his forehead against hers. Their warm breaths mingled in the cold air as they took a few minutes to calm their racing hearts. But neither of them moved away from the other, keeping her trapped between his strong body and the stone wall. Silva didn’t mind the proximity after craving it for so long — not after being away from him for weeks.
She was right where she wanted to be — where she needed to be.
“Hey.”
She flashed him a smile. “Hey.”
The young lord pressed a soft kiss to her slightly parted lips, his nose brushing against hers. “You look beautiful tonight, Silva,” he murmured, his eyes roaming over her flushed face. “Absolutely radiant.”
The dress she wore for tonight’s gala was everything. It fit her perfectly and showed off her curves, hugging her in the right places. And the slit in her skit— He couldn’t begin to count how many times his eyes roamed up and down her lean leg every time it peeked out from it. How the fabric would move like the night sky full of glittering stars when she twirled while dancing, and all he could focus on were those damned legs— They distracted him from conversations. They made his fingers twitch with the urge and need to run his palms up them, feeling the muscle underneath her light blue-gray skin flutter at his touch.
He grinned when she giggled at the compliment, hearing her long tail swish against the fabric of her skirt. “Thank you,” she said, tracing her fingers against his jawline. His neatly trimmed beard tickled her fingertips, and she looked forward to feeling it scrape against her skin later. “You look very dashing yourself, [my lord.]”
The compliment rewarded her with the pink blush on his cheeks turning red. “It’s very different from my usual garb,” he laughed. “A little more restricting when it comes to movement, but a few of my more traditional advisors insisted I wear it.”
It was Silva’s turn to hum. Her other lover could wear a popoto sack, and she would still think he was one of the most attractive people on the star — next to Ricmorn, of course. “It’s different, yes, but lovely,” she assured, letting her hand fall to his chest. Even through the layers of soft fabric, she could feel the beating of his heart. And it matched the beating of her heart. “And besides, you still have your blade with you. That’s something they could never pry from your hands.”
He would have to be cold and dead before that ever happened.
Hien smirked. “To be fair, I have two swords with me, [wildflower.]”
She blinked, confused by his words. Did… did he just—
“Did you just make a cock joke?” Silva snorted when his smirk grew, and he wiggled his eyebrows.
“Perhaps.”
“Good gods, really— You’ve been spending too much time around Ricmorn.” There was more she wanted to say, but the flicker of heat in his hazel eyes made her hold her tongue.
“How can I not be hard and aching for you when we’ve been apart longer than either of us would like?” the young lord teased. He loved the way the Raen’s breath hitched when his hand found the slit in her skirt. He palmed his way up her thigh, starting just behind her knee, so ever slowly. His fingers lightly dug into her skin, feeling the muscles underneath flex and flutter at his touch. Desire burned in her sea-green orbs as she gazed up at him, arching into him as his hand continued to glide up and up and up. “When you walked into the ballroom looking like this? All dressed up and ready for a good time. Wrapped up in pretty fabric like you’re a gift, begging to be opened and used.”
And when his hand ran over the curve of her ass, groping her through the thin, lacy smalls she wore under her gown, she growled. Low, rumbling, and deep. Kami— he loved that sound.
Hien leaned closer, his lips ghosting over the pretty ivory scales below her horn, savoring the small whimpers she made. “And we both know I’ll have you begging at some point tonight.” Oh, how sweetly she begs for him and Ricmorn — especially when she’s on her knees.
Silva laughed as she shook her head. Light and breathy. With a hint of a whine somewhere in the middle. He chuckled along with her.
“You are mad, [my heart.] A troublemaker. A tease—”
“Hm… You don’t say such things when you’re busy gasping and moaning while being filled with mine or your husband’s co—”
Seven fucking hells!
She gasped, eyes growing wide as she pressed a hand to his mouth. “Hien Rijin!” The lilac flush staining her cheeks darkened when he laughed again, amusement dancing in his gaze. And she couldn’t deny how levin ran down her spine when his eyes followed the blush bleeding down her neck and chest.
How his eyes lingered there for several heartbeats before flicking back to her, and the lust in them was enough to turn her to ash.
Gods— The temperature in the little alcove they found suddenly felt sweltering. The cold stone digging into her back provided her no relief.
“Sorry… not sorry,” he quipped. “You’re too fun to taunt and tease, [wildflower.]” When she rolled her eyes, Hien kissed the small patch of ivory scales. His heart fluttered against his ribs when a pleased trill escaped her, filling the air. “Perhaps it is time we gather Ricmorn and sneak out of this party. Lock ourselves behind closed doors and away from prying eyes. What do you think?”
“The great Lord of Doma wants to leave an Alliance function early to spend a night of debauchery with the two Warriors of Light?” she asked aloud in mock disbelief.
Hien snorted. The amused sound made her giggle, but those quickly turned into a moan when he grabbed her ass again. “You say that as if you’re not also tumbling the question around in that pretty head of yours, sweetheart,” he rasped beside her horn.
“...Fair enough.”
They’d all been at the party long enough, and her heels were killing her. She was ready to leave and spend the rest of the night with her two lovers in a warm bed.
Silva reached for her right horn, searching for her linkpearl. Once finding the small device, she switched through several different channels until she found the one she needed and pressed a button to begin the call. It only rang once before the person on the other side answered.
“Yes?”
“Are you alone?”
She swallowed when Ricmorn’s deep laughter rang in her horn. “For the moment. Lyse was keeping me company until she got dragged away by Alisaie. My only saving grace from Aymeric’s annoyed gaze.” There was a small pause before a growl broke it. “Which he’s still giving me as we speak.”
That wasn’t surprising to her.
“Ignore him, my love,” she soothed. “Go gather our things and meet us at our house in Ul’dah.”
If anyone were to look for them, it was the one place not many people would go. They would go to her apartment in Kugane or Doma first.
Elation mixed with the heat of desire washed over the soulbond the Auri couple shared. “Riled you up, did he? That didn’t take long, Silv. I told you before we left he wouldn’t be able to take his hands off of you.”
“Ricmorn—”
He chuckled. “Go— I’ll see you both in a few minutes.”
The call ended with a soft click. Silva returned her attention to Hien and flashed him a smile full of bright teeth and fangs.
“Come, [my heart,]” she purred, stealing a kiss from his soft lips. He tightened his hold on her, sharply inhaling when she brushed the tip of her long tail against his leg. “We have a long, fun night ahead of us.”
"That we do, [my beloved wildflower.]"

It was rare Silva, Ricmorn, and Hien found time to spend together as of late — no matter how brief or long it was. The two Warriors of Light constantly traveled back and forth from the Source to the First to check on their fellow Scions. When they returned, they ran around Eorzea and the Far East, providing aid where possible. There seemed to be little time for rest, for either of them to catch their breath for a moment. And while they were busy with their duties, the young lord remained at the Doman Enclave. Rarely left his home as he drowned in an endless sea of paperwork and back-to-back meetings with his advisors and ambassadors from other nations.
And when he wasn’t chained to his desk by invisible shackles, he was at the palace in Ala Mhigo. Stuck in more meetings with the rest of the Alliance leaders about the affairs of the world and the happenings within the Garlean Empire.
All of it was so tiring after a while.
So when the chance came up, they took it. Seized it without a second thought. Time was forever fleeting, after all.
And there were no discussions about their duties unless absolutely necessary.
Thankfully, today’s schedule wasn’t packed to the brim for any of them. Silva and Ricmorn were free after checking on their selling stalls in Ul’dah and Kugane. While Hien only had one more meeting — one that was quick, hopefully. He couldn’t see it lasting longer than a bell or two, considering it was going over some last minute changes to a few trade agreements before signing off on them.
But before the meeting, he decided to treat them to a late lunch with one of their favorite cooks in the Enclave. It was also a great excuse to convince them, or at least Silva, to spend the night.
(As if she would need much convincing to stay and warm his bed while stealing hungry kisses and teasing touches. He knew the answer would be yes if she or both of them were free.)
“I can’t believe the stars aligned for us for once!” Silva sighed, the sound turning into a laugh. “I feel like it’s been ages since we’ve done this. It’s a nice change of pace — a welcoming one.” She flashed Hien a smile when she felt him reach under the table to squeeze one of her hands with his, sparks of levin dancing along her skin.
Oh, how she missed this — missed him. She knew he longed for time together just as much. There was no doubt in her mind.
“It has been a while,” the young lord agreed. And he was so glad to see them after nearly a month of only speaking through letters and short linkpearl calls.
“I blame the weird time bullshit between here and the First,” Ricmorn rumbled after sipping his chilled sake. “I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it, no matter how often we venture to the First. All I know is that it's bizarre and hurts my brain the more I think about it.”
Hien couldn’t help but laugh at his friend. Even Silva was giggling.
“You’re rather grumpy today, my dear,” she teased, leaning over to kiss his cheek. He relaxed at the affectionate gesture, but only slightly. The tension in his shoulders was still there. “And here I thought I would be the grumpy one out of the two of us. I know we’ve been up since sunrise, but you’re much more of a morning person than I am.”
“Waking up at sunrise and “early” are two very different things, Silv.”
“Perhaps a bite of some really good food will cheer your husband up, my lady!”
Unzan crossed over to their side of their somewhat private seating, holding two trays filled with fresh, hot food. The mood instantly lifted. Ricmorn seemed to perk up at the sight of food as he scrambled for his chopsticks. Silva and Hien didn’t think he would be patient and let their favorite cook lay out all their food before digging in, but the white mage held himself back.
Once the trays were empty, though, he quickly took a serving off each of the plates of dumplings, steamed buns, and meat skewers the three always shared between them to his plate.
“Or a nap after he stuffs his face,” Silva snorted, earning herself a small growl from her husband. She fought the urge to roll her eyes, knowing it was better to ignore it. "Thank you so much, Unzan
Which was easy to do the moment Unzan set a plate of her favorite chicken and vegetable gyoza in front of her, a happy trill rumbling in her throat. Hien must have ordered an extra serving just for her so she wouldn’t be tempted to steal any from Ricmorn’s plate when he wasn’t looking.
“Naps do wonders for those of us who rise with the sun,” the Roegadyn joked, grinning from ear to ear. Silva and Hien laughed, murmuring their agreement to the statement. Ricmorn would have agreed along with them if it wasn’t for the fact his mouth was full of food. “We’ve missed having the two of you around here, my lady. Even our young lord here seemed to be a tad mopey some days,” he added, speaking in hushed tones so the other patrons couldn’t hear. “The Enclave is always brighter and more lively when you and Ricmorn are here.”
She raised an eyebrow at the news, turning her head to see Hien blushing. “Did he now?” Trying to picture Hien in such a state was both impossible and a little funny.
The young lord sighed. “It’s nothing for you to worry about,” he promised, lowering his voice. There was no need to explain further — his beloved knew and understood. He gave her hand one last tender squeeze when her gaze softened before letting it go. “You’re here now, and that’s what matters, [wildflower.]”
And one day, their duties wouldn’t keep them separated for long periods of time.

Fluffvember Prompt #20 Time
Characters: Silva Cataracta, Ricmorn Cataracta, and Hien Rijin
Rating: Mature
Notes: Longer snippet this time! The scene takes place sometime after Endwalker 6.0! There is no mention of anything from MSQ/Story, so no spoilers here! Silva and Ricmorn are living with Hien and Doma at this point in time, and they eventually go on vacation together for a month in Thavnair. Words contained in [brackets] are in another language, in this case, it's Doman.
Content Warnings/Additional Tags: Polyamory Relationship (V Relationship), M/F/M Relationship, Playful Banter/Teasing, Suggestive Themes, Smut, Heavily Implied Threesome, Mild Angst (very, very mild), Comfort, Mentions of Heat/Mating Cycles, Biting/Marking, Soulbonds, Domestic Fluff.
It wasn’t too often Hien got to watch Silva rest peacefully as of late. He usually fell asleep before she did at night, or they would drift into slumber together as the small Auri woman rested in the middle between him and Ricmorn. But he had the chance to do so now, rolling over onto his side to face her and gently tracing abstract patterns into her bare skin.
Their month long vacation in Thavnair certainly spoiled him with moments like these.
She was lying on her right side, faint snores leaving her as she dreamed away. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see her long tail twitching from time to time under the light sheets. He carefully moved some of her soft purple and magenta waves out of her face, tucking the short strands back behind an ivory horn. His fingertips ran over the flat side of it, grinning from ear to ear when he heard the pleased rumble in her throat at the affectionate action before resuming his tender touches on her arm.
Ricmorn was awake and sitting up in their large bed with an opened book in his hands — the Au Ra must have woken up before him. He mumbled a quick good morning when he caught his gaze, his lips twisting in a slight smirk.
“Tired, isn’t she?” he lightly teased, his shoulders shaking with silent laughter.
“She is,” the king agreed, trying his best not to wake her with his chuckles. “I certainly can’t blame her, though. Not with how… busy we’ve been for the last week.”
His beloved was exhausted — poor thing. They all were. However, it was to be expected after spending their first heat cycle together at long last. Gone was the near-constant lust-filled haze and high energy, the need for mouths and tongues and hands roaming over flushed, naked skin. The urge to become one over and over again and hear her cry their names as Silva fell apart around them. It was a breathtakingly beautiful and intoxicating experience, and the Hien looked forward to helping Ricmorn turn the woman they loved into a blissed out mess for seven days straight again in the future.
And… the young lord and the dancer finally completed their soulbond after so long.
He would miss feeling sparks of levin dance along his skin when they touched, the heady sensation it would bring with them. But in exchange, he could sense her stronger emotions when they were together. She could sense his feelings in return. They could offer support and comfort to one another when words weren’t enough in certain situations. It was a trade-off he was willing to make.
Hien paused his wandering fingers when they moved up her shoulder, nearly ghosting over the deep scarlet bruise where he had sunk his teeth into the soft skin when she stirred. He watched her pretty sea-green eyes flutter open, unfocused and still filled with sleep. The orbs flicked to look about the room before landing on him. The rush of warm love he felt across their newly formed bond stole the air from his lungs, and the sweet, blinding smile she gave him sent his heart racing.
Kami. He wasn’t going to get tired of experiencing this, was he? Not that he ever wanted to.
“Good morning, [my heart,]” she hummed, her long tail finding one of his legs to coil around.
He cupped her lilac-stained cheek and leaned down to give her a feather-light kiss. “Good morning to you, [wildflower,]” he murmured back, smiling against her mouth. A wonderful, perfect morning. One of the best mornings in a long time. “Did you sleep well?”
She giggled, light and bubbly. “Yes! The first night of full sleep after a week full of… well, you know—”
“A week full of messy, wild sex with only a few bells of sleep between each round?” Ricmorn chimed in, not even looking up from his book to see his wife glaring at him. He could feel her gaze burning into him. It did little to erase the smirk on his face, however.
Silva gasped. The flush painting her face quickly turned to a shade of dark lavender. “Shush you!” When she tried rolling over so she could playfully smack his shoulder, Hien promptly wrapped his arm around her waist to stop her and pull her into his chest instead. Their laughter filled her horns as she grumbled curses to herself.
“Ignore him,” the Hyur soothed, kissing her forehead. “He’s just trying to get a rise out of you. Although, he’s not completely in the wrong with his statement.” He heard more muttered curses but didn’t quite catch them as she nuzzled his neck.
“How did you sleep? Your shoulder isn’t bothering you too much, right, Hien?”
His fingers trailed up the curve of her spine in slow strokes, a soft hum leaving him as he grazed over each boney knob. “I slept fine — I also appreciate getting a full night's rest after our fun,” he told her, grinning when he felt a small huff of air against his skin. She must have rolled her eyes as she did it. “And no. It’s a little sore, but my shoulder is fine. If anything, I should be the one worrying about your shoulder and the mark I left behind.”
Though she and Ricmorn assured the young lord several times throughout the week — and the months prior — the bruise looked worse than it was, he felt bad for having to bite her as hard as he did. The deep scarlet mark looked better than it did a few days ago when it was dark purple and very tender to the touch. Hien was sure the soulbond mark on his shoulder was similar, but the bruising most likely wasn’t as bad (the perks of having fangs, the Au Ra joked).
And yet…
Silva looked up at her other lover when he became quiet, growing worried when she felt a brief flicker of sadness flow between them. “Hey…” she said softly, sitting up a little, “I’m okay, I promise you.” His hazel eyes met her gaze, and she offered him a kind smile, reaching to brush some of his unruly jet-black hair from his face. “Does it hurt a little still? Yes — I will not lie to you. Does the bruising look absolutely worse than it is? Yes. But I am perfectly fine! It will heal in time, and all I will have left is the scarring of your teeth — just like Ricmorn’s mark on my other shoulder.”
He knew she wasn’t lying to him. He could see nothing but truth shimmering in her eyes and feel it in their connection. “I know, Silva. I know,” he sighed, leaning into her comforting touch when her palm rested against his cheek.
But all Hien could think about now that his mind was clear was he had hurt her — the person he loved most in the world and swore he would never cause her pain of any kind. The king could vaguely recall the pained whimper she let slip when he marked her before it turned into moans of pleasure.
He felt extremely guilty, and something told him she knew of his inner turmoil without having to say a single word.
“Ricmorn.”
“Yes, sweetheart?”
“Could you give Hien and me the room for a little while? Please?”
The sage looked up to see her looking over her shoulder at him, and he nodded, understanding what she was asking, and smiled. “Of course.” He closed his book and set it off to the side before leaning over to capture her lips in a chaste kiss. “I’ll let your uncles know it’s safe to come around our little bungalow now and grab us some breakfast. Be back in half a bell,” he said.
“Thank you, my love, she chirped as he climbed out of bed.
Her bright, curious eyes roamed over her husband’s nude form. She bit the inside of her cheek when she felt desire, not only stir in her core but through the connection the Auri couple shared when his sky-blue orbs found her gaze again.
Though the haze of hormones their heat and rut cycles always brought wasn’t coursing through the veins like before, it was very tempting to drag him back into their bed.
He raised an eyebrow at her, smirking. “Like what you—”
Smug bastard.
“As if I haven’t had enough of you this week. Put on some godsdamned clothes!” Silva laughed, sitting up completely and launching a pillow at his head. The smaller Raen had missed — barely. “I will kill you should you walk all over Radz-at-Han naked.”
The bedroom filled with rancorous laughter from the two men as Silva shook her head. But she was happy to see Hien look more at ease than a few minutes ago. Ricmorn came over once he threw on some clean clothes to give her several more kisses. The pair exchanged murmured “I love yous” to one another before the tall Au Ra left the room, giving the Doman couple the space and a moment of privacy.
Silva kicked the rest of the thin sheets off of her before giving the Hyur her complete and undivided attention, noticing how his sun-kissed cheeks turned pink as he sat up in their bed with her — knowing it wasn’t from the humid heat of Thavnair. She came to rest on her knees before cupping his face between her small palms, making sure he looked at her while she spoke words of love, comfort, and reassurance.
“[Listen to me, okay?]” She waited for him to nod, smiling when his large hands settled on her waist. “[I love you, Hien. I love you and Ricmorn more than anything on this star. To have you both in my life again after eons of not experiencing this kind of love you two have for me is… I do not have the words for it.]” The dancer pressed her lips to his forehead one, two, three times, silently praying he could feel how much she cared for him. How deeply her love and admiration for him ran. Judging how her ivory horns picked up on the small gasp escaping him, she knew he did. When her eyes found his again, the pretty hazel orbs were shiny with tears. “[You are my soulbond, and I am yours, and we have sealed our bond at last! I know you think you hurt me, and such a thought breaks your heart. But know that I would be more than happy to endure a brief moment of pain to have this bond with you. I do not regret this nor will I ever, and I hope… I hope you feel the same way.]”
Hien heard how her voice wavered a little at the end, caught up in her own emotions and possible fears. And also realizing that his feelings and fears were feeding into hers. He blinked away his tears, feeling her thumbs wipe away the few that escaped his eyes.
“[Regret this– Regret you, wildflower? Never,]” he grumbled in disbelief, carefully pulling her into his lap.
How could she say something like that? He loved her! He would be the biggest fool on the star to regret loving her and having her be a part of his life. She would be his wife and queen — the mother of his children should they be blessed with them. Silva meant everything to him.
She always would.
“[I love you so much. You are my entire world, Silva. Nothing could ever change that or how I feel about you,]” the young lord vowed before gently bumping his forehead to hers. Her smile grew into a wide grin, and he returned it with one of his own as he watched her sea-green eyes dance with appreciation. “[The love I have for you knows no bounds and knowing I get to spend the rest of my days with you at my side is… it’s all I’ve ever wanted and more. It has been and will always be you that holds my heart — no one else could ever take your place.]”
It was his turn to wipe away tears, though they were hers. He gently shushed Silva as the fat drops rolled down her cheeks, pressing soft, sweet kisses all over her face until she giggled.
“Thank you for taking a moment to speak openly with me and for your comforting words, sweetheart. They ease my worries more than you’ll ever know.”
“Of course!” the Auri woman beamed. “You let me freely speak with you on numerous occasions. ‘Tis only fair you have the space to do the same.”
One of his hands left her waist to comb through her wild, short waves, gently untangling any knots he found. The pleased noise rumbling deep in her chest melted his heart. “And I… sincerely apologize for letting my emotions get mixed up with yours through our bond. That was not my intention, and I will do my best to try not to let that happen often,” he said, hoping his beloved would forgive him.
“It’s okay. I don’t expect you to learn how to control what goes through it or what’s shared between us right away,” she reassured Hien. “Gods know it took Ricmorn and me quite a while to figure it all out, and we still slip up occasionally.”
“You will teach me, yes?”
“I would be more than happy to, [my heart!] It just takes a lot of practice and some encouragement. But know that there are times that letting our feelings blend isn’t such a bad thing.”
“Oh?”
Hien picked up on the suggestive tone in her voice and the mischievous glimmer in her pretty eyes. The all-too-familiar feeling of desire swirled in their connection and gently coaxed him to bask in the warmth of it. It lit up his nerves, sent sparks of levin up his spine. And heat started coiling low in his gut. Oh… he understood what the Raen meant now. Blood rushed loudly in his ears as he pulled her impossibly closer, biting his lip to hold in a low groan when her thigh brushed against his hardening cock.
“I could teach you a few tricks now if you’d like, Hien,” Silva purred, one of her hands coming to weave into his long hair and giving the silky strands a soft tug. “We have some time before my dear husband returns — it’s easier when there’s no one to interrupt us.”
Kami above, yes. Please.
“May I..?” he whispered.
She watched as his eyes darkened with lust as they flickered down to her lips before meeting her gaze again. “Yes,” she breathed, amazed that she was already breathless.
His lips found hers to meld together with, their hands roaming over hot, naked skin. Soon, the kisses turned intense and passionate. Gentle, teasing grazes turned into firmer touches and groping as the Doman couple got lost in one another. The next thing Silva knew was she was on her back again with Hien covering her body with his, and the moment his cock hilted into her slick heat, nothing outside of this room of theirs mattered.
Ricmorn returned half a bell later to find his wife resting on top of her other lover, the pair tangled up in the thin sheets once more as they basked in the afterglow of sex.
“Rocked your world, did she, my friend?” he asked the young lord, smirking when he sent a half-hearted glare his way.
Hien rolled his eyes when he heard the other man chuckle. “Shut up, Ricmorn.
“Be nice, you two,” the Auri woman mumbled, not in the mood to listen to their bickering. Silva was way too happy right now, and she wouldn't let anything — or anyone — ruin it.
“Fine, fine,” he said, raising his hands. “When the two of you can move your legs again, get cleaned up and into some clothes. Breakfast is waiting.”

“Silv! Package for you!”
Silva stopped at Ricmorn’s words. The clean shirt she was trying to pull over her head nearly caught on her horns, tearing through the light fabric. “Huh?”
A package? From who? She wasn’t expecting anything from anyone coming through the mail, at least, not that she could recall. And any supply shipments would have been sent to her selling stall in Ul’dah or Kugane.
She heard movement behind her while she stood there, confused.
“Here— Let me help you before you accidentally tear your shirt to shreds, [wildflower.]”
“As if you and my husband wouldn’t like that,” she snorted as Hien helped her. A smile lit up her face when he chuckled at her teasing. When her head finally poked through the opening in her shirt, she saw amusement shimmering in his peridot eyes.
“A thought to ponder and, perhaps, act upon later,” he suggested, brushing some of the purple waves behind her ivory horns.
She shook her head, laughing as she rolled the rest of the shirt down her body. “You’re a menace, [my heart.] The both of you.”
Before the young lord could respond, Ricmorn walked into the room. A thick package wrapped in brown paper and tough twine in one hand. While the other held a small sealed envelope.
Silva blinked, crossing the room to meet him. “Oh? You weren’t kidding about there being a package for me,” she mused, plucking the envelope with her name on it from him.
“You weren’t expecting one?” he questioned, raising an eyebrow.
“No.”
She carefully broke the red wax seal, pulling out the note to read the scribbling of words on it.
Arit and I spied this tome while wandering the markets in Radz-at-Han and thought of you, dear child. If I recall correctly, you had a copy as a child, and it was one of your favorite tales read to you before bed. Your mother told me one time she had to seek another copy of it because how many times you read it ruined the spine on the one she took with her to Doma.
The memory made me smile, and I had to buy it for you.
I hope it brings you joy as it did so long ago, and should you be blessed with children of your own, you can read it to them.
May the gods and kami keep you safe and under their protection. Pray know my love is always with you, no matter how many malms separate us.
—Kisan
P.S.
Do come visit us soon, yes? Arit wishes to teach you more dances and get to know your mates better, and I would love nothing more than to properly show you around the city now that the world is safe. But I know how hard it is for Hien to escape from his duties.
If that seems impossible at the moment, we would be happy to come to you instead. Write to me when you have time and let me know. I will keep an eye out for your letters.
“Huh…” she wondered aloud, reading over the letter again. Little did she know Ricmorn and Hien were looking over her shoulder, reading it along with her. "Well, this is a surprise."
“A tome?” the young lord asked, curious.
“Tales?” Ricmorn echoed. He looked down at the package in his hands. “What kind?”
Silva hummed, setting down the letter on a nearby table. “If it’s what I think it is…” She paused, taking the parcel from her husband. “A book that is full of Hannish folklore. It was one of the few things she brought with her from Thavnair. Mama would read one to me every night before bed. I’m pretty sure we read the book from cover to cover at least ten times.” The twine and brown wrapping paper gave way under her nimble fingers, falling to the floor for one of her lovers to collect. Even after its long journey, it still smelled of different spices commonly found in Thavnair — smelled of her childhood home. A wide smile lit up her face as her eyes roamed over the brightly colored cover with gold embossed lettering in Hannish. “And would you look at that? It is.”
What fond memories they brought back. Ones she had almost forgotten about.
“It’s a beautiful book, my dear,” Hien said, curious of its contents. “A very thoughtful gift.”
Ricmorn hummed in agreement. “It is. I… I don’t think I’ve heard you talk about it before in all the years I’ve known you, Silv.”
“I had completely forgotten about this book and many of the memories with it,” she admitted, running her fingers down the spine. “I can’t believe Kisan remembered it after all this time.”
And the more she stared at the tome in her hands, the more memories came flooding back.
“What’s your favorite one?” the young lord questioned. “You and I can talk about Doman folklore from sun up to sun down, but I’m afraid I know very few Hannish ones.”
“Oh! That’s easy. I think it’s in this book. Let me see—” Silva felt giddy as she opened the hefty tome, flipping through the pages until she found her favorite tale. Thankfully, this edition was printed in Common, so she or Ricmorn didn’t have to translate for Hien. “This one! It’s about a little girl who gets lost in the forest and befriends a bird of paradise. They go on several adventures together through the wilderness as he guides her back to her village.”
“I can already tell that this tale reminds me of you in ways,” Ricmorn teased, leaning down to kiss her temple. "Seeing as you enjoy getting lost in the wilderness yourself." He grinned when the Doman pair laughed.
“Now that you said something, and it’s running through my mind, it does, doesn’t it?” she laughed.
She rambled on more about the folklore, explaining it in more detail and getting caught up in it and the emotions the memories of her mother telling it to her that resurfaced. Ricmorn and Hien happily let her go on, giving her their undivided attention.

Fluffvember Prompt #18 Sight
Characters: Silva Cataracta, Ricmorn Cataracta, and Hien Rijin
Rating: General
Notes: The scene takes place sometime after Endwalker 6.0! There is no mention of anything from MSQ/Story, so no spoilers here! These three are on a long overdue vacation in Thavnair together after the story's main events. Words contained in [brackets] are in another language, in this case, it's Doman.
Content Warnings/Additional Tags: Polyamory Relationship (V Relationship), M/F/M Relationship, Mentions of Original Character(s) Death(s), Playful Banter/Teasing, Midly Suggestive Themes, Mild Anxiety, Mild Angst (very, very mild), Mentions of Food, Mentions of Alcohol, Domestic Fluff.
Silva swallowed the invisible lump in her throat, smoothing down the light fabric of her skirt with her palms. “It’s just a party,” she whispered. “A small, intimate party with family I never knew existed but who love me — even after all these years. After… everything…”
Yet she was so nervous, so worried. Her only solace about going to this party was she could leave if she grew too uncomfortable. (Which probably would end up happening.)
And that her two lovers would be by her side the entire time, offering her support and encouragement. They would be her pillars of strength.
Gods and kami bless them both.
“You got this. You can do this.” She closed her eyes, forcing a sigh out. “It’s just for a few bells — all you have to do is walk in, say hello, and try to enjoy yourself. And then you can return to your bungalow with your husband and beloved lord and do whatever you want in peace.”
She could manage this, surely?
Silva pushed through her anxiety and shoved it down, locking the emotion away in a box inside her mind. With another shaky exhale, she rounded the corner and descended the stone staircase in slow, measured steps. The soft sound of her heels clicking with each step alerted Ricmorn and Hien, both men pausing their lively conversation to rest their gazes on her. Light laughter spilled from her lips when sky-blue and peridot eyes grew wide, roaming all over her.
And when they swore low curses, warmth flooded her cheeks and chest.
She would never tire of seeing their reactions, would she? No matter how long they've been together?
The dancer stopped on the last round of steps, keeping some distance between them. Whether it was for her or them, she didn’t know. “I would ask you how I looked, but considering you’re both undressing me with your eyes, I take it I look presentable,” she teased.
“Presentable is an understatement, darling,” Ricmorn growled, his beige-scaled swishing. “You… you look—”
“Incredible,” Hien breathed, his lips curling into a grin. “An absolutely beautiful sight to behold, [wildflower.]”
And she was. A midnight blue saree embellished with silver embroidered lotus flowers and ivy vines wrapped neatly around her body. Sterling silver jewelry embedded with deep blue sapphires adorned her wrists, neck, and ivory horns. Gorgeous pieces that stood out against her light blue-gray skin. An ornate broach shaped like a lotus flower and a peacock's feather pinned to the breathable fabric on her chest. Everyone who would notice it at the party would know what blood flowed through her veins — as if her trademark sea-green eyes weren’t enough. It stated that she belonged to one of the high houses of Thavnair and that she came from the Cataract family.
As if her status as one of the Warriors of Light wasn’t enough, not to mention all the other titles she’s earned with it.
But even with the beautiful pieces of jewelry drawing most of the attention, Silva still wore the courtship bracelet Ricmorn gave her and the earring from Hien. They may slightly clash with her elegant outfit, but she refused to remove them for any reason. She felt naked without them.
“I— T-thank you, my dears,” she murmured, shyly looking away as her long tail swished behind her. She fiddled with one of the rings decorating her hands before returning her gaze to them. “You both look dashingly handsome yourselves. Thavnarian clothes suit you well.”
She had to admit. It was a little strange seeing them out of their regular garb. Not that it was a bad thing — not in the slightest. Hien wore an orange-gold sherwani, while Ricmorn wore a midnight blue one to match her. Both also wore stark white dhotis and shoes that matched their sherwanis. Silva couldn’t help but let her eyes roam over them in return. She would have fun getting her hands on them and “helping” them undress later.
Oh, what fun that would be. To steal hungry kisses from them as she slowly undid the buttons one by one, revealing ilm after ilm of hot skin.
And when she noticed they still wore the courtship gifts she gave them — a bracelet for Ricmorn and a jade pendant for Hien — a cheerful smile lit up her face.
“You’re going to have those looking for company wanting your undivided attention.”
Both men chuckled and shook their heads, stepping forward and offering their hands out with the Auri woman to talk as she walked down the last few steps.
Ricmorn gently squeezed her hand, brushing his thumb over her wedding ring. Soon, new ones from him and the young lord beside them would replace it, but she didn't know it yet. “And yet our eyes—”
“And hearts—” Hien added, bringing their joined hands to his lips to brush kisses against her knuckles.
“Will forever be yours to have, sweetheart. We are soulmates, after all.”
“There is no one else — we promise you.”
There would never be anyone else for them. No one could ever take her place.
She nodded. “I know, and I hope you both know you’re all Ill ever need.”
"Nervous?" she heard one of them ask. The dancer was too busy focusing on her racing heart to figure out who.
Silva swallowed, praying her smile didn't falter. "More than I care to admit." This time, Hien squeezed her hand while warmth washed over her through the soulbond she shared with Ricmorn — a bond she hoped to share with her other lover soon. Both sweet gestures were enough to chase away most of her anxiety. She relaxed, letting her shoulders fall.
"It'll be okay, Silva — you'll see. And we'll be with you the entire time."
Ricmorn and Hien were right. Silva didn't need to worry about anything at all. Everyone was so kind to her and her two lovers and happy they came to the party — something she wasn't expecting. But the relief it brought her was immense.
To think she had a family who loved her after everything she'd been through. That didn't blame her for the death of her parents. It felt like she discovered a missing piece of herself.
So, Silva enjoyed herself, as did Ricmorn and Hien. The three of them left their fancy titles at the door to mingle, dance, and drink with her. They took turns holding her close and stealing sweet, tender kisses from her every chance they could, too drunk on the love they shared between them — no matter who watched.
