Despite starting late and trying to write something simple today, this piece ended up becoming one of the largest pieces so far in this project. I'm pretty sure this gets the "most individual notes" award.
My aim today was to capture an image musically, specifically waves in the ocean crashing against a ship or the shore. I took heavy inspiration from Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherezade, but, of course, with my own harmonic and textural ideas on top of it.
As always, these pieces are welcome for anyone and everyone to play! All I ask is that you share it with me, because I'd love to hear it done by live players!
thinking abt tallulah-pomme-sunny-empanada. thinking abt them being princess menaces. i want them all in diva outfits i want htem all in colour coded boas and shades and being FABULOUS i want them doing a little fashion show at spawn and all the parents are watching in pull out picnic chairs applauding at their little princesses. thinking about this.
