Taylor Swift albums as writers because why not

DEBUT: Planster. Nostalgic, loves the atmosphere of small country towns, writes realistic high school fiction focussed more on friendships than romances, does their best work at 2 or 3 in the afternoon

FEARLESS: Panster. Naive, solely reads and writes romance, always has a happy ending, cries at the end of Romeo and Juliet, is eloquent baby, occasionally writes high school fiction to channel their massive nostalgia

SPEAK NOW: Hard panster. Is obsessed with anime, is also obsessed with musical theatre, writes at 2am and 2am only (well, more like 1:58 if you know what I mean), sleeps during the day, likes the aesthetic of fantasy worlds but is more drawn to the human elements of said worlds

RED: Used to be a plotter but they’re having a hard time rn and just wanna pour their soul onto the page in whatever way necessary. Loves reading and writing tragedies, writes in indie cafes, has a different music taste every day, still has faith in humanity but will never tell anyone

1989: Plotter but will occasionally do a stream of consciousness. Loves exploring the human condition and living life to the fullest (by getting drunk at parties then writing about how good it felt), really nostalgic for the 70s and 80s and solely write stories set in that time, write at 10am when they get home from parties, loves travelling and writing about the places they visit, has all the social medias and writing accounts on all of them

REPUTATION: Plantser, loves nighttime cityscape photography and uses it as inspiration, cynical about the world because it’s hurt them that many times, but hates how cynical they’ve become, writes their best work at midnight in amber-lit hotels, loves coherence in series and novels

LOVER: Plotter but they prefer poetry. Loves Rupi Kaur, sees writing as a way of promoting social messages, has a stable relationship and stable sleep schedule that everyone is envious of, writing major, history minor, sees writing as a way of promoting social messages, mostly writes poetry about either misogyny or how much they love their partner, posts said poetry to Instagram on a regular schedule

FOLKLORE: Hard pantser, Jane Austen nerd, classic literature in general nerd, writes fantasy and introspective poetry, wishes they could just withdraw from society and play with plants, really unhealthy sleep schedule, is really active on Tumblr but no other social medias

EVERMORE: Plantser. Loves true crime, secretly wants to be Truman Capote, gets drunk a lot, loves the atmosphere of country towns in wintertime, writes magical realism
