Bael is a retired succubus. After falling in love with a woman, she decided to stop her demonic activities, instead moving in with said woman. Unfortunately, humans are very mortal, and her partner ended up dying of old age.

At her death, she decided to keep her partner’s flower shop, to honor her memory. Bael has kept and owned the little flower shop since the 1920s. She bikes to work everyday, and looks like a very normal, charming middle aged woman. 

Once or twice a year she does have to feed, but it’s so easy now with online dating! The real problem is what to do with the corpses, though it does make for a very good fertilizer :)
