VARYING KISSES PROMPT

Erwin sits at Levi's desk, with his head in his hands. He isn't sure of the last time he'd gotten a good night's sleep; he has been plagued with nightmares and visions –– of a world unlike their own. Giant, treacherous creatures roamed the Earth, causing death and destruction to everything they'd ever known. He would write them off as dreams, but after Levi informed him that he was also experiencing such visions, Erwin wasn't sure what to think anymore.

What he did know, though, was that he found comfort in Levi's presence. Though the two had hardly spoken since Erwin entered the temporarily empty classroom, it seems the two had still spoken a thousand words, in a language of their own.

❛ Levi, thank you. ❜ His words of gratitude break the silence; Erwin did not take Levi's presence for granted. ❛ I suppose we should go have our lunch now, before your class comes back. ❜

Levi, who seems to agree with this sentiment, begins to pass behind him. He pauses when he reaches him, which elicits slight confusion from Erwin until he feels Levi press a gentle kiss to the top of his head. Then, wordlessly, Levi continues towards the door of the classroom – as if it was something he did every day.

Erwin remains seated at the desk for a moment, his thoughts lingering on the sensation of Levi's tender gesture of affection. ( He feels the deepest appreciation for him. Perhaps those feelings run deeper. Erwin doesn't want to dwell on it at the moment. ) So, he finally clears his throat, brings himself to stand, and joins Levi in the doorway of his classroom.

okay okay okay so "zuko is kuzon" is something I started working on last year (haven't worked on it in the past few months but the thought of it never leaves me) and it is essentially the headcanon that Zuko is a reincarnation of Kuzon, Aang's friend from the Fire Nation before the war. interestingly enough, while Zuko's name is first in the wip title, Zuko is probably not going to appear until towards the end. the story focuses more on Kuzon and how drastically life changed when the war started and he goes on his own "find the Avatar Aang" mission for the majority of his life. and I hope to finish this story some time during MY life lol because the tragedy and hopeful bitterness, the denial of it all? *chef's kiss* it's perfect

2 + 1 Things is for the steambabies prompt for zutara month! my steambabies' names are Izumi, Kya, and Lu Ten. Notice something interesting there? the idea for this prompt hit me like a truck one day like "what if I did something about the fact that two of my steambabies are named after dead people?" and Izumi being the odd one out. she goes on to do something else, also focused on a headcanon I have for her 👀

and teacher zuko, oh the love of my life. I think I want to write a kindergarten teacher zuko AU another time because I am weak for that sort of cuteness but this one is also for zutara month and zuko is very VERY heavily inspired by my ap lang teacher and the chaos my class causes 😂 it gets awkward between Katara and Zuko when they meet in person for the first time in years because Kya never told her that her teacher was Zuko, but they're able to hit it off! Kya, to her dismay, accidentally brought her single mom and her cool english teacher together
