Prince Philip is more than just "Princess Anne's dad."

Sea Duke has more royal blood in his 3r leg than his wife's entire family. My mans was 6th in line to the Greek throne, and had royal relatives all over Europe. While going to school in Germany, he lol'd at Hitler and his funny salute, so his fam had to yeet him to England because "yo he finna get us killed and shit."

CDR Cock stacked bodies and wrecked other people's shit on the high seas in Dubya Dubya 2, and afterwards got command of his very own ship (aw, officers grow up so fast). Though he left active duty when his wife began queening, he was never formally discharged from the Royal Navy. Sir stayed on Her Majesty's payroll because "I stacked bodies for the king and I'll fucking do it again."

Not content with naval supremacy, Sir took up flying. He earned his Royal Air Force wings in 1953, Royal Navy helicopter wings in 1956, and private pilot's license in 1959. He then yeeted himself to engagements whenever possible because he's a badass. After 44 years, Sir retired from flying with a total of 5,986 flight hours.

And of course, it must be said that his 100th birthday was marked with a solar eclipse. BADASS.

Foreverinthepagesofhistory challenge day 2: Ball outfit

For a tiara i choose the Fife tiara. It was owned by Princess Louise the oldest daughter of Edward VII of the UK, who got it as a wedding gift. The tiara is thought to be a work of Parisian Jeweler Oscar Massin.

For a dress I chose a dress worn by another of King Edwards daughters, Queen Maud of Norway. The dress was made between 1905 and 1910 and I don't know who made it.

For earrings I chose The Princess of Wales' wedding earrings. the oak leaves and acorn diamond earrings were a gift from her parents, they were made by Robinson Pelham. For a necklace I chose the George VI festoon necklace, which was commissioned from Garrard in 1950.

For other details I chose the three-strand pearl necklace designed by Nigel Milne in 1988 for Princess Diana, now worn by The Princess of Wales. And a simple one-strand pearl necklace choker, worn above by princess Diana. As for choose I don't have any pictures but i would wear choose of the type worn in the 1920s.
