My second grade teach pulled that shit on me (and then my cousin 10 years later) and I unintentionally trashed her shit multiple times. I couldn’t read out-loud so she thought I couldn’t read and put me on the bright green(see spot run) lvl. It was sooooo boring so I snuck a dark red (highest) level and did the whole worksheet for it before turning it in. She was pissed and sent me back to green.

Next I beat half the class in a mathathon, it was fun and I only lost when I got flustered. Because I had the most wins she had to take me down to get a reward from the principal. She was so angry but had to keep her mouth shut.

When we had our state test at the end of the year she photocopied the pages and made them into projector pages to go over after the tests were done. I was so happy to know I got them all right I uncharacteristicly shouted “yes!” And she had the most sour lemon Face I’d ever seen as an 7 year old.

It helped that my mom was awesome and when the teacher suggested I was retarded* mom was like “no, you just don’t know my kid at all.” *this was the late 90s and she was a crude person
