what do the other characters (non main five ones) look like?
OKAYOKAY
Crya: Black. medium build. 5'5 but i could be wrong. she has braids that she dyes pink. she has gold framed round glasses and dangly earrings. brown eyes. she's very sure of herself, she has a very confident stance and gait if u get what i mean
Finn: white. kinda lanky tbh. 6'0. really basic brown hair, short back and sides. honestly he's just a basic straight guy but he wears a lot of graphic tshirts. very energetic but he's quite laid back . i think he has blue eyes? blue or brown i do not know
Holly: white. lean as hell. 5'3. she has wiry ginger hair she keeps in a ponytail thats honestly falling apart. lotsa freckles, green eyes, tries to get away with wearing her favourite yellow hoodie over her school uniform (does not succeed)
Lucas' Dad Harold: white. stocky, muscular. 6'1. hes got brown hair with a widows peak and a fun little moustache. green eyes and reading glasses sometimes.
Odin's Dad Fred: white. skinny. 6'0. black hair he tries to keep neat but ends up forgetting. constant 5 o'clock shadow. green eyes also
Madisons Dad Richard: white. larger build. 6'4. greying brown hair, short back and sides. neatly trimmed beard. glasses, blue eyes.
I have additional notes about Odin and Lin bc i forgot about them i hope you dont mind me adding them here: Odin has both an eyebrow slit and an eyebrow piercing bc he thinks they make him manly. Lin has too many piercings to count, including septum, bridge, multiple lobe piercings, industrial bar, whatever. dont ask how many he did himself he doesnt want to talk about it
thank you so much for asking :)) there probably are other characters but off the top of my head those are the biguns...

how has odin's relationship with his dad affected him (if you can say without spoilers)?
FANTASTIC QUESTION
i can in fact talk about it without spoilers.
BASICALLY: Fred thinks Odin shouldn't exist. Fred is so so angry that he does. the only reason he's got custody of him is to spite his ex wife.
Fred is also controlling in that he pays for all of Odins stuff (including something really important that i can't mention because of spoilers) and he threatens to to stop if Odin pisses him off
Odin believes that he's just. wrong? in a sense. because his dad treats him like he shouldn't exist he believes that he shouldn't exist and there's something inherently incorrect in who he is. he thinks that people knowing him is the worst thing that could ever happen and he chooses to go without friends (until he meets Madison)
there's a whole lot of other things that affect him but..... yeah his dad's got him fucked up
there's probably more but that's what i can think of atm!!!! thank u for asking i love answering these so much :^)

Band of Brothers Ages: IRL vs. Actors
Did you know that according to a 1947 study, almost half the men who served in WWII were still under age 26 by the end of the war?
What this is : A (very long) post comparing the ages of the actors in Band of Brothers vs. the IRL figures they are portraying.
Background: Did I need to do this? No. Did anyone ask for this? Also no. Did I do it anyway? Yes.
Disclaimers: This is SUPER approximate for the most part. I based IRL ages off of D-Day unless otherwise noted, and actor ages off of January 1, 2000, the year filming took place (the latter is where the most variation will be because I didn't try to figure out what month filming started). I also didn't fact-check birthdays beyond googling. Most are sourced from the Band of Brothers and Military Wikis on fandom.com, Wikipedia, and IMDb.
I broke them up into rough categories, which are, again, approximate. I know I often forget how young the real life people were here, and this was a good reminder of that. I also found it interesting to see which actors were actually younger than their roles!
