hi, can u please do a reading on Yulhee and Minhwan, they are getting a divorce..what happened in their marriage?

There was a lot of tension between the two about parenting. Yulhee felt very tired in the marriage and suffocated. I sense that she was doing a big bulk of the parenting during the marriage. He wasn't often there for her when she needed him. They also have different parenting styles and different ideas about parenting; one is more traditional and strict, believing in rules/more traditional paths for the kids while the other is more open and more relaxed (sometimes too relaxed).

She also felt like he became someone that she didn't see herself with in the long term. Before she looked up to him a lot and felt like he could guide her a lot but after they married for several years, she felt like he was more immature than she thought and he couldn't provide the lifestyle and stability that she needed. Yulhee was quite young when she married and their marriage came pretty abruptly. Now that she has grown up more mentally and emotionally, she feels like she is looking for a different type of marriage/relationship. Yulhee is looking for someone who is more mature, stable, and has a more stable job that provides a certain lifestyle she wants.

There was also some conflict between both sides of their families. I sense some conflict between Yulhee and a parent of Minhwan's. She felt like she was being controlled or looked down by that parent. I don't think they approved of their marriage as they felt she was too young to be married to him.

Also just because she doesn't have custody of the children doesn't mean she doesn't care about the kids. She feels like the situation they have now is the best that can be; she financially is not able to support the 2 kids on her own whereas she feels he is able to and he has support from his side of the family. Yulhee also wants some freedom to live her life more and enjoy the rest of her 20s; she feels she missed out a lot and sort of became a mom too fast. Minhwan feels a bit of guilt too that he was able to hang out more with friends during the marriage compared to her.

There is a possibility that these two may appear on a divorce show together but I highly doubt they'd get back together. If they show up to that show, it'd be to earn some money. I wouldn't recommend that they get back together either. It's possible that Yulhee may show up on some other dating show or be a MC/panel member. He may also do this route too.

FT Island's Choi Min-hwan and LABOUM's Yulhee announce divorce after 5 years of marriage

In a surprising announcement on December 4th, Choi Min Hwan of F.T. Island and Yulhee, formerly of LABOUM, revealed that they have decided to part ways after five years of marriage. Both artists shared the news on their respective social media accounts.

Choi Min-hwan expressed, "After lengthy discussions, our couple decided to conclude our marriage. We appreciate the support from everyone who has followed and cheered for our decision to start a family at a young age. I am grateful to our family, team members, and fans for their support. Yulhee further explained, "After careful consideration, we have decided that it is best for the children to continue living in the familiar space they have known. Currently, the children are being cared for by both of us to minimize practical and psychological disruptions. I am making an effort to spend time with the children regularly, ensuring that the absence of a mother is not keenly felt."

Choi Min-hwan and Yulhee, who got married in 2018 and have a son and twin daughters, are currently undergoing divorce settlement procedures, with Choi Min-hwan agreed to have custody of the three children.

shiny foundation has announced that, starting on may 2nd, they will be holding their fourth annual online bazaar. the auction will be held daily from may 2nd until may 9th and feature items donated by the following: onew, jonghyun, key and minho of shinee; hongki, jaejin and minhwan of ftisland; changmin and yunho of tvxq; hyoyeon of snsd; suho of exo; yeri of red velvet; and yonghwa, minhyuk and jungshin of cnblue. proceeds from the event will be used to help people affected by the recent forest fires in gangwon. funds will also go toward the continuing goal of the foundation to establish a psychological counseling center.

FT Island Concert 26102017 - Amsterdam

Pre Concert:

To be honest, I always liked FT Island, just never really listened to their songs on repeat. I always knew that they were kings, just never took the time to get into them. You have to know that I originally am from a more rock/hardcore background musically wise, before I got into kpop.

Me and my bestie saw that they’d be in Amsterdam and I was HYPE while she wasn’t. We still decided later on to go to the concert, since they started selling tickets two weeks ago and there were still plenty tickets left We chose the Soundcheck ones because FT Island is a band at the end of the day. Their Fanbase (Primadonnas) are pretty chill from what I experienced. Really mature. They calmly organized everything. (towels, lightsticks, songs,ect.)

General Admission: 55 €

Soundcheck Package: 135 €

Hightouch Package: 155 €

Concert day:

We got ready pretty late and went to the concert at around 4 pm (we got there a bit early since we didn’t really know the way)

Timetable as follows:

16:30 Line Up starts

17:10 Souncheck Package ticket buyers enter the venue

17:40 Soundcheck ends (Souncheck people rejoin the line)

19:00 Doors open

20:00 Show starts

22;00 Show ends

22:30 High-Touch starts

There was no reason to camp since everyone had to stand in line according to their ticketnumbers. There were about 50 soundcheck people that went in on time. The Souncheck was pretty cozy. I stood right in front of Jaejin (Who’s probably my “bias“ in this case. I just have a weakness for people playing the bass) The stage hat 4 boxes in front of it where Hongki could step onto (And the others as well) He took his time to test each box, using the time to make eyecontact with everyone. The Boys seemed really tired but were joking around, saying stuff like "goodbye..... Forever" When we left the soundcheck

After leaving the venue we waited until we could go inside. We were actually allowed to go in 30 mins early (Probably because we were freezing) They sold “Inofficial“ [According to MyMusicTaste] merch [But the boys wore the merch as well sooo…] We waited for 1,5 hrs until the concert started. It was really fun (unconciously stood in front of Jaejin another time, oh well) Hongki spoke most of the time, He tried to speak English a lot (Unfortunately we only had a dutch translator, something that bothered me at all my concerts up to now. There is a huge international crowd.) He was the perfect entertainer and played around with the crowd (I have to admit, we effed up a few times with singing, which is only understandable considering we don’t speak Korean) The boys were laughing quite a lot, engaging with the crowd. (I personally don’t like when fanbases just throw stuff of their country on stage during the concert, hence, the Spanish flag thrown at Jaejin [which he didn’t recognize] bothered me a bit. Just ask if you can hand in presents. But that’s a personal thing I just want us to be “Primadonnas” and not be devided into “German-” “Russian-” “Spanish-” ect “-Primadonnas”) Unfortunately Tumblr won’t let me post pictures but lemme tell you - Hongki threw water With His bottle At The end and my glasses plus my stomach (yay crop top) We’re FREAKING wet Bonus :HE LIKED MY FUCKING INSTAGRAM POST 😍

Yulhee And FTISLAND’s Minhwan Announce Divorce After 5 Years Of Marriage

After five years of marriage, Yulhee and FTISLAND’s Minhwan have decided to go their separate ways.

On December 4, Yulhee took to her Instagram to share the announcement of their divorce.

Yulhee’s post reads:

Hello, this is Yulhee. Today, I’m writing this to share with you a rather heavy topic, and while my heart feels heavy, I want to share it directly with all of you who have supported and loved us. After much time, effort, and discussion, we have decided to support each other on separate paths. Although our journey as a couple has come to an end, our roles as parents to our children persist. Both of us are currently communicating and taking care of our children to the best of our abilities. Following careful consideration, the children are currently living with their father after we decided that it is best for them to stay in the place where they have been living to accommodate realistic issues and minimize any psychological distress. Additionally, I, too, spend time with them frequently to ensure the absence of their mother is felt as little as possible. I was quite worried about delivering this news, knowing that it might come as sudden and bewildering to you considering the support you all have given us. However, as this was a hard decision that we made for each other’s happiness after extensive deliberation, I hope you can watch over us with warm understanding. As the weather is getting colder, I wish you a warm day today. Thank you for taking the time to read this lengthy message.

Shortly afterward, FTISLAND’s Minhwan shared the following message on his Instagram:

Hello, this is Minhwan. It is with regret that I have to greet you after a while with rather weighty news. I’m approaching this with caution, having arrived at a difficult decision after careful consideration. After extensive discussions, my wife and I have come to the decision to conclude our marriage. To all those who warmly supported and watched over us when we decided to start a family at a young age, I sincerely apologize [for delivering this news]. I am also grateful and genuinely sorry to our families, team members, and the fans who supported us. As a father, I will do my utmost to fulfill my role and ensure our children do not carry any emotional scars. I will strive to greet you again with good news in the future. Thank you.

Yulhee and Minhwan first confirmed their relationship in September 2017 and announced they legally registered their marriage in May 2018. Subsequently, they held a private wedding ceremony in October of the same year.
