Fourth attempt at my Dell networking exam, and I got 39/60 questions correct. I needed 40/60 to pass. I'm going to tear my notebooks apart.
It's frustrating that the results I'm given no longer break it down by exam portion, just by subject. I think I did a lot better than my previous 50% on the simulator portion, but I have no way of knowing now. And the simulators aren't really that good so doing ping tests and "show up route" may or may not actually prove anything???
But I went through the 54 multiple choice questions 3 times. I even tallied over 45 questions that I was confident I had correct. I don't know what happened there.
I went to a bar for dinner right after the exam and I started googling as many of the questions that I could remember. I did identify a few things that I got wrong. And I found one question that I did change from a right answer to a wrong answer while reviewing 🤬🤬🤬
I can't retake for another two weeks, and I'll be on the road at that time, but fuck it I'm not waiting two months to retake because of my work schedule. I'm taking that exam and I'm passing it! Once and for all!!!!

Hi to the few pharmacy students that follow me on here, I’m not sponsored or anything but just want to say that you need to join the PDA because let’s be honest they’ve done the most for us ever. If you’ve followed me at any point since last March you’ll know our entire careers got shafted by our regulator and they KEEP making things worse and fucking us over more and more, and today with exam booking some people in Scotland have to now sit the exam in Cardiff which is the closest available driving theory test centre. In a lockdown in a pandemic. Unacceptable. Obviously radio silence from the GP*C and Pearson vue but the PDA are actually trying to demand answers for us at 7pm on a Thursday. They’ve created revision support, they’ve constantly tried to demand answers from the GP*C, and it feels like they’re the only ones who care that we’re unemployed if we fail this exam and what the GP*C are doing to our mental health. I hope this never happens again because it’s truly unacceptable, but join the PDA because they actually care about us.
