Okay I lied.

This genuinely disgusts me to my core. Can we all agree that what used to be the dsmp was and is just problematic as hell?

I mean yes, there are people who have done little to nothing wrong. But the main people that the viewers watched, that being William Gold and the so called dream team, they’re horrible. They’re abusers. They took advantage of the naivety of young girls. 18 year old girls. If that’s not fucked, i don’t what is.

Now just to take a second to address this, I don’t count Punz in all of this. At least he was respectful and responsible when he handled his situation. Both he and Andi were in a mutually toxic relationship. His situation is a completely different story.

I know so many mcyts and just overall people have come out about this. All of them agree everything that is going on is idiotic and horrible. How people can still support those who have had stuff come out against them, I have no clue. Obviously they don’t see how stupid this shit is. I hope they find the help they need to understand that these are not good people.

Now I may have left the ‘dsmp’ fandom, I was still interested in certain groups. One of them was the dream team. After hearing what George did, and that Dream and Sapnap supported him, it was gross. I supported the sorry boys. I still support some members, but William Gold is not one of them. He deserves every loss in fame, money, and self worth he got.

But this is still not about me, or you, or any of us. We may have been victims of their lying and manipulation, but the real victims are those they hurt personally. Caiti, Shelby, Alice, everybody. They deserve your support. I cannot stress that enough. Go support victims, please.

I’ve also seen stuff saying that Shelby was in acting classes, and how it ‘makes sense’ to imply she’s lying. If that is true, then why have so many of his exes come out against him claiming the same, if not similar, damn things. Why would so many people lie about abuse? Yes Shelby may not have the best reputation, and yes, Alice may not have the best videos or account, and yes, Caiti and George may have both been drunk, and yes, these victims are not perfect people, but that does not lessen the abuse a bullshit they went through. They still went through what they went through, even if they aren’t a perfect fucking angel.

So please, go support victims. Go be a somewhat decent human being. Please.

Ok, none of you know what's going on. None of you understand why so many women and young streamers are stepping forward right now. None of you understand why this has to be public.

Multiple large streamers have used their fame, influence, and money to manipulate and abuse those they see as below them. So long as they continue to have fame, influence, and money, this cycle will not end.

This is bigger than just individual cases of sexual assault or other abuse. This is a break down of a much larger problem within the entertainment industry.

These women are telling stories about very powerful men in this space. They are sharing stories of abuse and manipulation. This is very scary for them—it could ruin their careers or lives.

Stop saying "they should have handled this privately." This isn't a private matter. So long as these men have power, they will hurt more women. They aren't sorry. They won't play fair.

By trying to stay silent and bury these accusations, you are ensuring these women never know peace. You are ensuring that more women get hurt.

One day your boss will assault you, and all the men in your life will blame you for waiting as long as you did to speak about it. They will find any reason to blame you. They don't want to get rid of your boss. They hope that one day, they can assault a woman just like you.

This is fucking serious. This is real life. This isn't just some fucking fandom drama that we can bury and move on from. These are real life issues that require real meaningful discussion.

Stop trying to discredit these women just because your streamer is in trouble. You are part of the fucking problem.

We heard thousands of stories where women said no to men and they still physically abused them. Put yourself in her shoes for a goddamn second, she’s 18 and drunk in a room with two grown ass men that she doesn’t know well, she only know their online persona. She doesn’t know how they’ll react if she says no.

It might be a stretched idea for some of y’all, but I’m basing this on women experience with those types of situations. In a lot of cases, when you say no, worse things can happen. More violence can happen.

Im sending support and love to all the victims and wish them to heal well. You are all strong coming out with your stories against those men with gigantic fandoms.

P.s : before anyone tells me that I also don’t know these women streamers, I prefer defending and supporting a « potential » victim than a potential abuser, but that might just be me.
