Waking up in teyvat was certainly not on your bingo card for this year. You had only been playing genshin seriously for about a year or so. You had played before that, but had gotten bored after the Monstadt archon quest, because of the steep ar requirements for the Liyue archon quest.

So waking up in Liyue, specifically wuwang hill was,  jarring to say the least. You had recognized the area immediately. You had basically lived in the crimson witch domain farming for your Hu Tao. Not that you had Hu Tao yet, having lost your 50/50 on each of her reruns. (Seriously! Talk about bad luck!)

As you get up you notice a vague feeling weightlessness, looking down, you noticed that you were partially see-through? What?

You had barely been able regain your composure when you here a familiar song. You recognized it anywhere, seeing as it from was one of the most iconic idles in the game. 

As the director of the Wanshengn funeral parlor sang her song, she suddenly paused, staring directly at you.

“Hello!” She says with a grin walking towards you, “you’re different from the other ghosts that hang around here,” she said with a smile.

“I-“ you opened your mouth to speak, but what were you supposed to say in this situation? ‘Yeah you’re right, I’m from a world where this is all a game and you’re a fictional character lol’ like, you can’t just say that! That’d give Hu Tao an existential crisis! 

…actually maybe it wouldn’t considering her personality, but thats besides the point. 

“…yeah,” you say, “you’re Hu Tao, correct?” You don’t need the clarification considering how much time you’ve spent on this game, but it doesn’t really matter.

Hu Tao laughed, “I’m sure you don’t need need me to confirm, your grace, considering-“

“IM SORRY?” You blurt out before thinking, “what- what the fuck did you just call me?”

“Oh” Hu Tao stared at you for a moment. “You’re the creator right? Everyone here knows we wouldn’t exist without you creating an account!”

“What?” Is the only thing you can’t think about to say, “you- oh my god?” The people here know they’re in a video game? Wait hold on- creator? The fuck?

Hu Tao stared at you for a moment, before a mischievous look washed across her face, “you should come to liyue harbor! I’m sure everyone would be happy to see you!”

“Okay?” You say, and Hu Tao ran off. “Hey- wait!” You didnt know your way to liyue harbor from here, always taking advantage of the waypoints, you go to run after her, but suddenly the world shifted. 

You would’ve felt a wave of nausea if it weren’t for your ghostly form, but one moment you’re at wuwang hill, and the next you’re standing by the waypoint overlooking Liyue harbor.

This was going to be a long day, wasn’t it?

Anywho, here's the Xiao brainrot I've been brainrotting about (nsfw btw 😭😭)

Like, imagine Xiao trying to top the reader for the first time. He tries so hard to make the reader feel the way he does whenever they, yk, have seggs, but he himself just gets lost trying to fuck reader and his mind dissolves in his own pleasure from just being in reader. So, he ends up being louder than the reader, and he comes a little too earlier than the reader. I like to imagine Xiao wrapping himself around the reader's waist, trying to regain composure after coming while he's sitting still, basically cock warming himself in the reader while the reader just lays there, obviously far from satisfaction. So, Xiao suddenly feels tingles of overstimulation as the reader carefully gets on top of Xiao and starts riding him, having him moan even louder while slightly, very slightly degrading him because he couldn't manage to keep himself together while trying to fuck them. And then they keep going at him, Xiao (probably) coming multiple times until the reader finally comes with him. Oh, and Xiao probably went through the rest of that session, moaning out apologies while moaning out "thank you" as well.

Xiao's just so <333 like our bbg's pretty, but I don't think he can really top the reader after like 2000 years of being a touch-starved virgin, only to suddenly be introduced to seggs after learning how to date someone and how to be in love. (And when he's introduced, he's probably being dominated 💀)

Just had to spill the idea out there. If you wanna also make it into a full fanfic, then go ahead!! I just had it rotting my brain, and I needed it to get out there since I can't write smut on my main account because one of my friends found my tumblr 😭

1.First 5*: Technically, it’s Mona, but practically, I got Hu Tao like 20 seconds later in the very next ten-pull and raised her first, so Hu Tao feels like a real first 5 star to me

2.Favorite 5*: I love them both, Hu Tao carried me from mid to end game and is my favorite nuke option for bosses. And Itto is just FUN

3.Most recent 5*: I got Ayato first and then just kind of casually kept pulling on Venti’s banner whenever I had primos. I kinda expected to lose 50-50 bc I won 3 in a row before that, but no, I won and I’m glad I did, Ayato\Venti\Ganyu perma freeze slaps

4.Most wanted 5*: Not very original. Every time they let us use Kazuha in event trials I look at the damage numbers and CC and sit there, consumed by lust. I do like his personality too tho.

5.Strongest 5*: I keep meaning to go back to crimson witch domain and farm her artifacts with better crit stats, but it kinda doesn’t take priority bc girlboss hits like a truck even with mediocre set, her burst crits for 160k on vape.

6. Favorite DPS: I didn’t plan to get him at all, bc I hate claymores and didn’t want to build mono geo. I’m not even into himbos. But then I got Itto at 15 pity doing random free wishes, and he just won me over. He’s the only claymore who feels good to use to me, his charged combo is fast and cool and has giant AOE. And sure, my Hu Tao or Ganyu are technically stronger, but Itto has no annoying mechanics like Ganyu’s charged shot and no set up needed, like Hu Tao, you can fuck up his rotations and his combos, you can even solo and baby boy is still gonna carry just fine. 

7 Favorite sub-DPS: Xingqiu is a secret 6 star on par with Bennett. the boy can do everything. I was more excited to get him than both Zhongli and Ganyu at the lantern rite, bc let me tell you, it’s not fun to try and vape Hu Tao attacks with Barbara’s or Mona’s E.

8.Favorite Support: I try keeping up my dodging skills by doing commissions with low level friendship team that dies in two hits if I don’t dodge, but even that doesn’t seem to work much. I actually rebuilt Zhongli from pure shield to sub-DPS bc his meteor looked cool, but hit two times weaker than Itto’s cow that’s 2 levels lowers. Now it hits about as much as Ushi (about 60-70K), so I can live with that.

9.Favorite 4*: Kaeya is my favorite anything in genshin, period. Morally ambiguous sarcastic dark-haired trolls with complex identity problems are my type to begin with, but I didn’t really get the brainrot until I got into genshin’s worldbuilding. I was like “Hoho, what is that? This anime gacha has extensive references to mythologies? Some of them pretty obscure? How peculiar! How quaint! Let’s see what they’re trying to do”, then I fell into the lore rabit hole and emerged with a whole ass conspiracy board where Kaeya is one of the central figures. 10.Strongest 4: cryo Kaeya and vape\overload Yanfei are actually my fav teams for exploration or farming, bc you can play them braindead and not worry about burst regen or even being hit, bc everything is either perma froze or being blown up from afar. Best girl Yanfei is also another fav choice for carrying other people in coop on par with Itto, bc she has her own shield and if needed, can sustain enough mono pyro damage to kill anything even without reactions, when Hu Tao would already be dead

11.Favorite element: I like all elements, but electro needs a buff.

12.Favorite weapon: The free DEF% claymore is good on Itto, but it clashes so much aesthetically. I did a one random ten-pull on weapon banner and got redhorn, so it’s my fav just due to how cool it looks and how easy I got it. it’s also insanely good on baby boy, ofc.

Aaaaaa, Lavawalker my beloathed, started farming for Diluc, so wanting me some Crimson witch artefacts, I went in to the domain, slaughtered it easily... only to keep getting lavawalker, after lavawaklker, after lavawalker, and the few fucking ones I got just handed me def%... I wish to murder someone. </3

When you're Rex Lapis' favorite

Today I bring to you tidings of a man blessed by Genshin's very own god.

RNGesus.

As far as Tartar's concerned, this is probably on the same level as Rex Lapis coming down and personally telling him that he's the Chosen One.

Storytime:

On the first day of Childe's second rerun banner, I rolled for and got the Polar Star bow. Polar Star has a really beautiful secondary stat: Crit Rate. Taking full advantage of its maxed out Crit Rate bonus was exactly why I happily spent 130 balls on it.

With Polar Star on the team, I had to swap out the pretty nice build Tartar had been enjoying: a 4pc Heart of Depth set with a matching Crit Rate crown. Standard DPS build stuff. He had a 2k ATK too. Anyways, I traded that crown for a Crit DMG as I had a spare Gladiator on hand, which at least matched the Hydro DMG cup he was using for this new hybrid Heart + Glad build.

Incidentally, that Hydro DMG cup is the second-greatest piece of Gladiator artifact I have ever had the luck of rolling, featuring 2 Crits, EnergyRe, and a fourth scalable substats. This hybrid build wasn't anything to complain about, as you can see here:

Because Tartar smashed his past record with a 6 digit number starting with 2... And this number didn't even come from [2.2 Spiral phase's] Floor 11, where there is an ongoing +60% Hydro DMG bonus.

Of course, as an endgame player, grinding for the perfect DPS build is something one defaults to doing. Since Tartar is short on a 4pc HoD set, I had been casually shopping the domain (alongside a 4pc Crimson Witch for Diluc) in the hopes of a nice Crit DMG crown, since I figured my chances of getting that would be. You know.

Relatively higher.

To recap, 14 days from the start of his banner rerun, he's been using Polar Star ft. the hybrid build.

Exactly 14 days later, this god-tier artifact with god-tier rolls was bestowed unto him:

To clarify, he has only been without a 4-pc HOD set bonus for as long as he's had his Polar Star bow.

You know, some people would have been happy with that compromise, given that Polar Star is an exclusive 5-star weapon with Crit Rate for a secondary stat and an exhaustive ability that benefits Tartaglia's DPS fightstyle and literally nobody else. It's his best in slot and tailor-made weapon.

To be fair, throughout my gameplay history, both Tartar and Kaeya's loots from Sal Vindagnyr have been nothing short of pure excellency. It's why I get to brag about them all the time... and don't nearly say half as much about my other units. Fact is, I have nothing to brag about from grinding any of the other artifact domains. Fuck the ThunderFury one.

Sal Vindagnyr even provides options in the form of numerous pieces with double Crits and desirable stats. Like, just in case one flower or feather with double Crits and a roster of ATK% and Energy Recharge isn't enough.

I don't know what Tartar had to do to get such continuously bountiful blessings from my RNGesus and at this point I'm too afraid to ask. I feel like I don't wanna jinx anything but at the same time this blatant favoritism... It's appalling!
