growing pains highkey BROKE ME like here i am with my heart aching over these 2 bros!! Giann basically being parentified to look after marius even though He’s A Child, he should be doing dumb teenager stuff!! And marius experiencing humongous trauma (honestly I feel like he has ptsd about the basement incident) and feeling like a huge burden… also the way in which you wrote how giann vows to never leave marius again… YEAH THAT HURT. But it was such a good fic and really filled the void where canon just doesn’t talk about it (bc present marius doesn’t wish to acknowledge it)

anyhoo, //shakes ur hand in von hagen brothers feels!!!!! giann and marius (and austin too) are so heartbreaking to me...between just the two of them it's this bittersweet cycle of them always looking out for each other but under circumstances and/or intensities that like......in an ideal world, Shouldnt have fell upon them. and theyre so close to each other that theyll learn from each other. of course marius started taking on responsibilities he shouldnt have had to deal with as a child and started repressing his own feelings. he learned it from giann. he learned from the best.

//shakes ur hand agAIN in feeling marius is so not over The Basement Incident. and this whole fic was also me saying that i think giann really got traumatized by it too. can you imagine being fifteen years old and your baby brother who you swore to your deceased mother that you'd always protect almost DIES. and you felt it. and you held him as it happened.

thats a horror story in itself as well but giann will never admit it because to him, marius will always be more important and giann also thinks he shouldnt get the right to be upset because all of it happened anyway because he wasnt watching over him well enough
