Violetpaw is taken to speak with StarClan. They are given the name Violetface and are now a full medicine cat of the Clan

The patrol reaches a river that must be crossed to ensure the borders are thoroughly checked (proceed) The patrol begins to cross with Cobaltnose trailing nervously behind. Just as the patrol is almost clear, Cobaltnose notices a swell in the river rushing towards the patrol. They almost let out a warning yowl, but they hesitate, unsure if it's really rushing water. Unfortunately, this costs the patrol the few seconds they had to react and the water crashes them against the river stones

Wreniris is surprised when Oddpaw makes a mistake on a simple move Wreniris thought they had mastered. Before Wreniris can say anything, Oddpaw runs out of the training grounds. When Wreniris finds them huddled in camp, they sob out a confession: they will never be ready to be a warrior. (proceed) Wreniris shifts awkwardly at Oddpaw's side until they can't stand the silence any longer. Wreniris drops into a crouch and nudges Oddpaw with their paw. Oddpaw looks back, confused as Wreniris keeps bouncing and poking at them with a goofy expression on their face, until Oddpaw gives in. The warrior and apprentice play like kits and the smile on Oddpaw's face says they've forgotten all about their doubt.

Loudstar calls the Clan to a meeting and declares Pikepaw to be a warrior. They are now called Pikepounce and are celebrated for their courage

Icydaze is watching with pride as Tigerpaw is named and given to Briarlightning to apprentice under. They know that Briarlightning was a good choice

Even though they are excited to finally be made an apprentice, it takes a bit of coaxing by Icydaze for Oddkit to step forward for their ceremony. Icydaze watches in prde as they're named Oddpaw and touch noses with Wreniris

Cavernpaw has reached the age of six moons and has been made an apprentice with Avalanchebeetle as their mentor

Frogcry confesses their feelings to Cobaltnose, asking to be mates. And the answer, well, it's not yes.

This is Violetpaw's third medicine cat patrol. The first two he got too in over his head over catmint, and this one they visit the grave area and he gets a thorn in his paw. He's such a cringefail I love him

The patrol comes across a small dog on the border of the territory (proceed) The dog gets a lucky hit on Icydaze, though together all the cats are still able to drive it off successfully.

The patrol hears a cat begging for their housefolk to come back, just barely intelligible over the sound of a monster speeding away. (proceed) Fuzzscratch finds a kittypet collpased by the Thunderpath, wailing for their housefolk. Macavity is taken into the Clan. He is fixed and sick with yellowcough

Piperwater gives Briarpaw a friendly nudge when the leader calls the young cat's name. They watch with pride as Briarpaw steps forward to receive their new name, Briarlightning, and are honored for their intrigue

Tuftpaw grumbles to themself as Loudstar changes just a single word in the ceremony. But they know better than to correct them during such an important ceremony. They can speak to Loudstar about it later. For nowm they listen as they are given the name Tuftbreak, and are honored for their thoughtfulness

Loudstar has been following the progress of Icypaw for moons, and feels that it is finally time for them to get their warrior name. They are granted the name Icydaze in honor of their passion

All three graduated at 11 moons old

Wingkit starts bringing a pretty catmint everywhere they go, and Burrkit loudly complains that they want one, too. Burrkit was playing with crow feathers earlier, and decides to wear some of them

I love how this one turned out. Burrkit 100% got jealous and got their own accessory because of Wingkit

As the patrol is marking the border lines, a gang of rogues strides confidently out from behind a tumble of rocks, yowling as they confront the Clan cats! (antagonize) The patrol descends into battle without a second thought, but the rogues are stronger than expected and eventually the patrol is forced to retreat

Dewstream approaches the clearing where Poolrup's body lies, cold and lifeless. Defying expectations of sympathy and grief, Dewstream instead curses their fallen Clanmate to the Dark Forest where they belong
