Concept Cabin: My ocs in the Lego style

For fun I wanted to practice drawing in the shows art style a little so I drew a couple of my sillies to get a feel for it, funny enough it didn't actually feel that different from my usual style, the body type is one I drew before the only difference really is the hands,feet and head really-

The first two I drew were baí and Klara, for those who actually know my characters you probably know Klara doesn't look like that- I went with my koi king au design for her. Mainly because I love it and will use any excuse to draw it

But anyway for the first two attempts I actually really like them! Especially Klaras pose.

Ming is still very much brainrotting in my head so he got to be included,honestly the version with the more "show accurate" coloring was only supposed to be a fun bonus but it actually ended up my favorite piece out of all of them and now I can't decide if I wanna keep it or stick with his og color pallette-

Shui is fine I guess, I think you can just tell that I was getting tired at this point and I'm still not all that happy with her prosthetics, I can tolerate it's existence though as a learning experience.

Not everything I make is gonna be a banger to me and that's okay

All in all I would say not bad for a first attempt -^-

Concept cabin: Growing Garden Au

A little something @littlethingsrae and I have started developing, a what if scenario where two of my characters, Ming and Baí, are the older brothers of her golden girl Jin! 👀✨

The story goes a little some like this:

Once upon a time the lucky lilly maiden of the morning mist was brought two gifts:

The first was delivered to her by an owl, it was a white lilly in full bloom. However no matter what she did, no matter how much she would care for the plant, ever so slowly it would start to wilt away and die. But right as the last petal fell off was when something miraculous happened, from the remains of the flower, a frail and sickly baby was born.

Not long after was when her second gift was delivered, brought to her by a turtle, it was the simple seed of a lotus. After it was planted unlike the lilly it grew like a wild fire. Shortly blooming proudly and from it a second baby was born, this one healthy and strong.

And what became of these two after getting lovingly raised without trauma for once in their existence?

Yangwu Ming

What is he like?

Ming is a highly energetic and friendly individual that is pretty much familiar with every being in the celestial realm. He has a natural curiosity for everything around him and a thirst to know more, that includes people. Don't take his overly trusting nature for naivety however, he is quite cunning and always knows more than he let's on.

He acts on impulsive and there is little that frightens him, making him a bit of a loose canon, his personal safety was always optional like when would leap onto the battle field to care for wounded celestial soldiers. No one questions his dedication to his job as a doctor and isn't surprised that he is a certified workaholic. Often biting off more than he can chew by himself his ambition is clear.

You can always catch him in a good mood possessing a contagious smile, his chipper almost childish demeanour being surprising for someone that deals with death and ugly wounds.

What's his role and overall standing in the heavenly bureaucracy?

He is a deity heavily involved in medicine so naturally he serves the court as the Head doctor of the medical wing. His main patients are the celestial warriors but anyone could and probably should visit him if health concerns were to arise.

In terms of status he would be considered something akin to a Duke, mainly because his family is pretty high in status in general but among his siblings he is actually ranked the lowest in terms of importance.

Notable relationships

Lianxiang: It's no surprise that he adored his mother, wanting her to rest easy and not have to worry about him ever he would force himself to grow up early and start taking care of her when he was still very young, even when she assured him that he didn't have to he insisted.

Jin: To say he was giddy when Jin was born woukd be an understatement- he was practically vibrating from excitement when he held her fir the first time! He would rival her in terms of energy and was able to go along with her schemes and cleverly turn them into something less...chaos causing.

Baí: Oh how he loved his darling little brother, the only thing he loved more than spoiling him was teasing him. There were times he treated Baí more like a son than a sibling. But to the public ming looked like the spoiled younger brother because of his childish behaviour.

Sanzuwu: The bond he shared with his grandfather was a close one, he would visit him whenever possible, talking his ear off with the grandest of stories to simply excitedly telling him how his day went. When Ming realized he would die soon Sanzuwu was the first he would break the news to.

Shui liu: She was more or less a regular patient for him, he was one of the few that treated her like a person, not a dangerous predator. In turn she was very protective over him.

Zhimming Niao: His sworn brother. When he was still a heavenly warrior Ming was probably one of the few celestials Niao would show any respect to, that was mainly because the boy showed him respect. Before his death he gifted his wing piece to him.

Lmk stuff

He actually doesn’t appear in the actual series, he is gone, passing away due to an unknown illness. Nobody really knows how something like that is even possible considering medicine was literally his thing.

However he would still be in jttw, being one of the deities assigned to protect Tang sanzang, this poor mortal already deals with so much the last thing they needed was him kicking the bucket because of the common cold-

Funfacts

As a child he would often 'create' shooting stars. And by that I mean he would kick a star like a soccer ball through the night sky-

He was hilariously blunt with his patients:

"Am I gonna die ?

"No, you aren't dying."

"You are paid to say this aren't you?"

"No,I'm not!:D"

He used to be a student of Lao tzu and was know to blow up his alchemy lab more than once-

Yangwu Baí

What is he like?

Baí is known most for the calm smile that is always on his face no matter the situation. It makes him exceptionally hard to read and often leaves an air of mystery around him as he keeps to himself and only speaks when he has to. His movements have a level of grace and refinement that make him come off as royalty.

He is actually far from unapproachable however, if taken the time to get to know him it is clear that he is someone warm and caring ready to give others a shoulder to cry on or check in on them when they need it.

He also carries a mischievous nature, being a bit of a trickster that loves playing mostly harmless pranks on his loved ones and he always has an ear open for the latest gossip. The little god also loves his theatrics.

What's his role and overall standing in the heavenly bureaucracy?

He is the god of art, while that includes more traditional art forms like painting and music it also covers things one wouldn’t immediately think of like martial arts and war-

He mainly serves the court as an artist for hire however he’ll also find himself on and off the battlefield when something or someone threatens the heavenly host.

Between the three he would be placed right in the middle, his wide range of skills give him many areas of expertise that make him a useful Duke indeed.

Notable relationships

Lianxiang: An absolute mama's boy and it shows, Baí used to spent his youth glued to his mothers side. He'd often mimick her mannerisms or even way of speech in an attempt to be more like her. Needless to say that respect and admiration never went away.

Jin: His baby sister who he absolutely adores, when she was little he was one of the few able to keep her in line with little issue. Regardless he would often also encourage and join her in wreaking havoc.

Nowadays he is much less openly affectionate with her, but it's clear that he would give his life and freedom to his last remaining sibling in a heartbeat.

Ming: He always looked up to his elder brother, even if he found his impulsive behavior troublesome. He was still his rock, someone he could always rely on for everything without even saying a word. Making it hurt all the more when he was no longer there.

Sanzuwu: While he has respect for his elder and still loves him dearly he can't help but feel a bit of resentment towards him for not immediately telling the rest about his brothers condition, perhaps if he did then they may have been able to save him.

Nezha: The third lotus prince is his teacher when it comes to combat, the two of them are fairly close and have been through many battles together, he always enjoyed annoying him!♡

Mengtao: He sees her as a friend and can relate to her struggles when it comes to communicating with others. Another one who he enjoys messing with for fun he'll often scare her for kicks then turn around and guide her like a mentor.

Lmk stuff

He is still alive by the time the show begins and would most likely accompany Jin when she goes down to earth to unsure she doesn't cause any further mischief. *cough* the peach incident *cough* To be honest though by the way he just follows her around one would think he is her bodyguard not her brother.

He is still very much grieving about Ming and it shows, acting very distant towards the group with an air of melancholy constantly around him. He barely speaks however his actions are louder than any words that could come out of his mouth, any battle that the group may face he is the first to raise his weapon.

Funfacts

He has taken a vow of Chasity just to avoid marriage proposals, mainly because well he is aroace-

His family was honestly very aware of that fact considering he craved his wing pieces as one piece so obviously he couldn’t give it away without breaking it. This was basically just confirmation without him actually saying it out loud

At one point in his childhood he was once responsible for painting clouds and rainbows into the sky.

His earing can transform into weapons whenever he wishes.

I learned that apparently owls are associated with death in Chinese culture.

So of course I immediately made a demon design for my lmk/jttw boyo Ming, it was also handy to practice lighting a little.

Honestly he reads more of just bird to me then owl but eh, maybe I'll revisit this design in the future since I do think it's neat :>

Ooooh! A very cute oc indeed!:0 she seems pretty young so here are guesses:

Shui and Arthur would adopt her no questions asked. She has parents? Sharing is caring! But too late she is officially claimed in the name of Allard oop- Jú and Bāoshí are a lot more chill probably act more like wine aunt and fun uncle? Jú is probably the only one looking for her caretaker.

Adrien would just chug her at Arthur and call it a day, him and little kids don't mesh well, his words not mine.

Klara is EXCITED immediately tries to befriend her and play together! Definitely gets out her monkey king plush after seeing her dragon plushie! They are best friends now your honour:> Katie would quietly observe from the side, Star definitely needs to take the initiative if she wants to be friends(or else Klara will-)

Mengtao is definitely internally panicking lmao, immediately looks for nezha because home girl has no idea what to do.

Between us: if you want your oc to not get horribly traumatized then she really shouldn't know Amia for more than 15 minutes- Also will use her to annoy the spider gang SOMEHOW.

Yúnlü will act like an older sister, very chill and fun to be around, just wiring and probably will take her to watch the Mario movie.

Lastly the bros! If she was in the woods Ming was haunting he'd just quietly lead her out, if she continued to stick around I think they would become buddies. Baí is a bit awkward but if she's fine with his silence he'll probably be like a cool older brother!

I don’t know what it is but I’ve been really into doing traditional sketches lately-

WOE,LAMBS BE UPON YE

Recently got into the silly little game with the lamb and decided to make a little Au around it with my oc's for the fun of it, so here are my characters Ming and Baí that I finished some art for!

Im not really done with the game so the lore is probably not that accurate but since this is an Au im not really trying to be, pretty much just trying to have fun here and see what bits and pieces of my own lore I can keep,change or mix with the games.

Anyway the gist of what I have so far is that the two of them run a cult together, obviously only one has the red crown though and technically neither of them are a vessel of the one who waits but still share a connection with him of sorts in some way. All of this takes place pre the events of the game so their cult is destined to fall apart but we aren't there just yet:>

Baí, The false idol

Younger one of the brothers, bearer of the red crown and the founder of the cult started in the name of the one who waits. He is a young lamb of few words often remaining so still at times that he could be mistaken as a statue giving him an air of eeriness as he stares with that haunting smile of his that doesn't quite reach his eyes into the beyond. That smile makes him hard to read, remaining unchanging no matter the circumstances, his body language is controlled not giving anything away either, even the tone of his voice remains the same, soft spoken and weirdly soothing to listen to. You can never tell what is going through his head.

A menace on the battlefield, blessed since birth with enough raw physical strength to desecrate groups of heretics with little struggle his wrath is something to be feared. Luckily it isn't easily provoked, he has incredible patience and remains poised, moving with effortless grace even while in battle as if locked in a dance. He has a flair for the dramatics as he carries himself with a level of elegance akin to royalty and he seems to enjoy putting on shows.

When not on crusades his followers will see him regularly during sermons or doctrines but even then he rarely speaks, to them he has an air of mystery that intrigues you to come closer yet frightens you away at the same time. Those who do approach are treated to the rare sight of him blundering, struggling with socialising and often just retreating back to his tent as a result.

Ming, The shepherd

With his short stature and youthful disposition it is hard to believe that he is the older brother, Baí's complete opposite Ming is boisterous,extroverted and so high energy to the point he can barely sit still, patience is a virtue he has trouble with that is clear as day, while he has a brave heart, showing fear to none that burning spirit can cause impulsive mayhaps even reckless decisions from his side. With big eyes that react empathetically to those around him he wears his heart on his sleeve, you never second guess how he feels. In turn he can read others like a book, figuring out their thoughts and true feelings, their wishes and desires from the smallest of words and gestures but he doesn't even need to, with someone as friendly as he you'll gladly lay your chest bare to him no?

Where his brother is the brawns, Ming is the brains. He has a curiosity for all things around him, an insatiable hunger for knowledge and a burning determination to understand. His specialty in medicine is probably because the lamb is quite sickly and frail, every day he might collapse and lay at deaths door, yet he'll knock against it utterly unafraid instead he looks to be fascinated by death instead having so many questions about it that he asks with a grin.

The caretaker of all their followers, he stays behind to actually run the cult. He is a well respected as a leader and simply adored by their followers, they listen to him with bated breath when he preaches and know that they can seek him out for anything, given how fast he is he might even be at it before they even say a word! His kindness shouldn't be taken as weakness. He is shrewd, he is perceptive and while he might act like a harmless fool to entertain taking him as actually being one will be your biggest and last mistake.

Ayayayaya you are tickling my writers brain I see-

Let’s say in this scenario Shui and Yeva probably met via Redson dragging her along to his lessons with Arthur because uh yeah he is kinda his teacher-

And in that case congrats she is now part of the family and no rejecting this is not an option.

Of course a friend of redson is a friend of hers! But for Yeva specifically I can see Shui would probably mother hen after her a lot, I feel like her more quiet nature and lack of emotion remind her a lot of one of her own daughters.

And a bonus for if she would have known her in her younger years, while Shui was a lot less terrifying than she was in her celestial warrior years she was still not the most approachable person however when Yeva decided to become her problem she would probably become the unpaid babysitter because „I guess I won’t let you die from stupidity.“ meant affectionately of course XD

She definitely would have made Yeva babysit her little brats once they came into the world as revenge :>

Well as for hobbies they all have something going on :0

But this is already way to long so have a quick list-

Shui: One of her favorite pastimes is researching marine biology and the underwater world in general, as an aquatic type demon it is pretty easy for her to just dive into a body of water and explore to her hearts content after all. On these trips she also looks for shiny knickknacks for her ever growing collection but besides that she also works out.

Arthur: Honestly if you were to just ask him then he would probably just answer "work." And to be fair almost blowing the roof of your house is a fun pass time but what he also likes doing is cooking which he is quite good at. Does adopting everything that breaths in your general direction also count as a hobby?-

Adrien: He's pretty into books but Adrien doesn't just like reading he also likes to write them himself. (definitely wrote a lot of fanfic in his teen years)

Klara: Oh she definitely is the type of kid that would do millions of activities and hobbies all the time and would leave nothing untouched, does everything from sports to researching physics for fun-

Katie: She likes to draw and dabbles in fashion design, really wants to learn how to actually make clothes, also a pretty big theater kid.

Jú: Dancing and singing were her main ones but she definitely doesn't do those a lot anymore, another one where the answer would just be "work." If asked. Volunteers at animal shelter's in her free time.

Băoshí: Also pretty big into working out but also likes to craft, everything from cute little bird houses to full on furniture if bro can make it himself then he won't buy it. He to has a collection of shiny things stashed somewhere and it's only growing. He does some gardening on the side.

Yúnlü: Her passion lies in music, she is on a mission to try and learn as many instruments as possible. Besides that I picture her to be really into video games, definitely gets way too competitive when playing Mario party.

Ming: I guess the closest thing he had to a hobby after his death was etching a line into his gravestone to keep track of the days, though eventually he couldn't even do that.

Baí: Sleeping, he doesn't need it anymore but it's a nice break from reality. Other than that he isn't exactly allowed to do anything that isn't serving or training.

Mengtao: Gardening is her main one, even if it is technically her duty she still enjoys it. Other than that she also likes to annoy Nezha and Lao tzu-

Amia: She likes to knit! Her webs make for surprisingly comfy sweaters. Amia is also into crappy romance novels as well as making candy and baked goods.

My Lmk oc's: The Gāuguí brothers

Gāuguí Ming

Spirit of the wandering doctor

A young boy born in seventh century china from a white lilly that also met an unfortunate demise, travelling the lands with his brother he was known as a doctor with impressive medical knowledge despite his tender age, having the hornour to care for the great monk and accompany him on his pilgrimage together with his brother. His soul haunts his own grave till this day spending his time watching it decay as nobody comes to care for it.

Gāuguí Baì

The demon child

Born in the time of the great pilgrimage the former protector of the great tang monk managed to survive through a deal with the Lady bone demon, not aging a day physically as well as mentally, his current guardian is her loyal lapdog. Born from a lotus flower he received the gift of strength at birth, rumoured to be capable to take on armies with ease and all with a chilling smile. Mortals came to fear him back in the day.

Sunflower- What names were you originally thinking of naming your oc?

Sunflower

Klara-None, her name was literally always Klara. That and the fact she is brunette somehow stayed consistent over the years that I have had her-

Katie-Her original name was Katie, but I decided to give her the full name Kathrin and let that one be a nickname because I thought it was cute-^-

Ming-He actually used to be Klaras genderswap by that time his name was actually Kaleb.

Baoshi-Originally I called him Lone but when I got into Lmk I figured a Chinese name would suit him better with how I wanted his story to go.

Mengtao-Once again her name was always Mengtao, she is actually the only oc I made specifically for Lmk so she doesn’t have a previous iteration.

Violet

Honestly I’ve never done a voice claim, they aren’t really my thing I’m kinda picky about it because I want it to be like a perfect match so take these more as an idea of what their overall tone is like if that makes sense-

(Also a good chunk of these are characters from anime so just assume that I mean their Japanese voices)

Klara-Emma from the promised neverland, they have pretty different ways of talking but for the most part they match pretty well

Katie-I would say either Mami tomoe from Madoka magica or Shinobu Kocho from demon slayer, I think either would suit her well especially if she is older

Ming-Tails from the sonic movie, it definitely suits him when he was still alive especially

Baoshi-The genie from aladin…the animated one not the life action one other than that no further notes-

Mengtao-Yui komori from diabolic lovers (this is giving me war flashbacks to a dark time guys-)

LORE CRUMBS. NOW.

AFFWRGNEY OKAY OKAY-

Lemme get something in for each of my characters then-

The Allards

Shui: During her time as a celestial warrior she would often be chained down and get treated like a savage animal, and to be fair- that's how she acted like, her family raised her to be a war machine after all. The only one to really vouch for her was the gold star of venus, in turn you could say she was uncharacteristically civil with him.

Arthur: I actually made an Arthur lore dump not to long ago:>

But no one gets left out so for him the reason he is practically allergic to sleep is because of his nightmares is well, his parents were a bit of a scientist themselves and made unspeakable horrors against nature that he got to witness-

Adrien: He isn't nearly as traumatized as Arthur is, mainly because his brother did everything he could to shield him and their sister from it all. But he still stays away from anything science related.

Klara: Her obsession with jttw was in large part thanks to Adrien, who gifted her his copy of the book when the fact she could barely leave her bed anymore was really getting to her. As a bonus funfact: She actually read it in french.

Katie: The reason Katie is smiling all the time is mainly because she didn't want to be a bother to her parents with her own problems once Klara's health started to get worse, so she would learn to control her emotions until eventually it became something she would do subconsciously and no longer had any control over it.

Family Jin

Jú: Formerly part of the brotherhood their relationship with DBK remained surprisingly close even after everything, they actually were his wingman when he tried to swoon PIF lol-

She would also help her look after Redson once her brother was imprisoned, however she stopped visiting once he was old enough to actually remember her.

Băoshí: He was a thief in his youth, and the way he actually met the brotherhood was because he tried to rob them- However since he was literally just a child they decided to take him in instead.

Yúnlü: She grew up in the celestial realm as a child and is actually very far removed from her demon roots, her magic is very under developed and her knowledge of demon traditions and customs is very limited. Despite that she relates to mortals the most.

The Gāuguí brothers

*Mentions and small description of death and blood in Mings part, please feel free to skip if you don't wanna read that stuff

Ming: The way Ming died is actually reflected in his ghost form in a small way: it's the "blood" constantly dripping from his mouth. He was born a pretty sick child and one day while he was by himself it simply got the better of him... and he ended up choking on his own blood.

The angrier he gets the more of this "blood" will start to drip out of his mouth, to the point where he can't even speak.

Baí: The tips of baí's fingers and toes have actually turned a blue-ish purple, because he is for one: as cold as a hunk of ice, and two: a literal zombie with barely any blode in him, kept from decomposing with the magic of the lady bone demon. He had to remain alive for all these years somehow-

Miscellaneous

Mengtao: The other peach maidens raised her telling her 101 horror stories of the mortal world (and of a certain peach snatching simian-)and keeping her pretty sheltered, while they meant well and tried their best she ended up a person that is scared of literally everything and Nezha is her only friend.

He actually suggested for her to get sent down to retrieve the stolen peach in hopes of her becoming more independent. Basically in his mind it was exposure therapy-

Amia: She is the reason Shui had to retire :)
