Raphael came to punish him, and Castiel remembers the burn of his grace, the sickening ozone smell of righteous anger, he remembers his vessel and then his true form dissolving into atoms, and yet— 

                         A noise to his right; Castiel directs his glare at the intruder, hand outstretched, light pulsing, but it's only the prophet. He lowers his arm. "Chuck Shurley," he says. "What happened?" And then, more urgently: "Did Dean stop Sam from killing Lilith?"

She was praying as a joke, really--a last resort, a lament of anger towards Castiel for someone more qualified to be a father and--Well, according to the scripture, she couldn't have wrangled anyone better.

The question is, why here and why now? If what everyone says is true, God doesn't just do this. Come down to earth. Especially to her, a Nephilim, whom the angels see as abominations most of the time.

Guess she doesn't really know his opinion for sure, though... and something tells her that even if she did have the instincts to be hostile, that it would end in her own ending.

the past few days have been rocky concerning stuff. mostly me doubting my writing and portrayal, etc etc. but these people have reminded me that i'm being too hard on myself. you guys stay supporting my shit posting , my headcanons , me yelling about my character and our ships and always are there. i appreciate you guys so very much and i adore you all. so thank you for being awesome. <3 i love ya'll!
