Hola amigos!

Weekend feriado library closed. No habia podido escribirles los nuevos acontecimientos. Sigo buscando Home, estoy media triste y depre como todos los dias. Como les explico que soy sensible, si me gusta una chica mas sensible me pongo ante cualquier situacion y encima el detalle es que lo puro aqui, son mis sentimientos.. El acosador, hacker no para de molestarme. En marzo 2022 aplique para short termn disbility y fui aprovado hasta 09/05/22, envie unos documentos a la compania encargada y todo habia quedado bien como me gusta pero luego me entere que el hacker habia enviado a mi trabajo papeles llenos con datos erroneos para perjudicarme en el ambito laboral al igual que en mi vida personal.

Empezo diciendo que era un juex de vida para darme una leccion!, despues los del edificio por el ruido, despues los amigos de jose porque nos burlabamos de el disque mis amigos y yo, despues mi milia, los de miami, los brasileros, las amigas de chayannelos coworkers, los del colegio, los de la uni, los amigos de marcelle, la clinica pignanelli, los de tallaj, , los fde shirley nj , Magda , yermys y los de DR, , las famosas de gary lol, los de emmy, los sobrinos de querida, los del taller, los de betances , las valerio, los londono, los cabrera-rivera, los gonzales y los lopez bencosme, la fam de shirley, bibiana cindy , joyce, zeo , las carol g que son como 4 jajaj..., wendy y su grupo, falan y su grupo, la fam de wendy, la fam de falan osea anthony y sujey , jc y los de boston y providence Y UFF..

What are your favorite couples in all the macross series (if you have any) and gundam series (if you have any too)?

My favorites are absolutely Hayate/Freyja and Sheryl/Alto! I also really enjoyed Max/Milia (includng during this bickering divorced era during Macross 7), Makina/Reina and Misa/Hikaru. 

As for Gundam— I still really need to watch WAY more of the Gundam series (particularly the older ones) as I’ve only seen a handful of them in spite of always enjoying them. 

But I at least just finished G-Witch and am so far liking the Suletta/Miorine dynamic so I’m really curious to see where it goes in the 2nd cour.

Your POV

We were now at the restaurant and his daughter was playing with the toys she bought with her. Jaehyun tried to continue to talk to me but I couldn’t find the words to answer him. I was too struck in shock that I didn’t even have an appetite anymore. I looked over at the little girl and seen the similarities between her and Jae. She had his eyes, his smile, even his dimples. I smiled in the direction of the girl who was talking to him.

The waiter brought our food and smiled at Jaehyun. “Is there anything else sir?” She asked a little too flirtatious for me. I shot her a look and she quickly bowed. “Enjoy your food.” She said rushing off. I picked up my fork and cut into my pancakes. I heard him cut up the pancakes for his daughter while he talked and smiled with her. “That’s a big piece!” She said laughing. “Is it? Hmm? You want to eat that piece first?” He asked. “Uh huh!” She said opening her mouth. He fed her the piece and wiped her face off. She giggled and took the napkin, coping him. He laughed and took the napkin from her, feeding her again.

I giggled and ate my food. She then turned to me. “Hi!” She said. I smiled. “Hi!” I replied waving at her. “What’s your name?” She asked. “Y/N. What about your name?” I asked giggling. “My name is Lia! It’s short for Milia.” She exclaimed. I smiled and pinched her cheeks. “You have one pretty name..” I said. “Uh huh! My daddy named me.” She said pointing to him. “He did?” I asked looking at him now. “Mhm. He named me Milia Jung!” She exclaimed.

“That’s beautiful..” I said. She smiled and tapped his hand. “Daddy, pancakes?” She asked pointing to them. “Okay, open wide Lia.” He said. He did the little airplane thing and placed it in her mouth. She giggled and made grabby hands towards him. He took her out of her high chair and placed her in his lap. “Where did you meet Y/n?” She asked. “I met her at school.” He told her as he wiped her face off. “You liked her?” She asked. I continued to eat, avoiding eye contact with him. “I love her..” he said. “More than my mommy?” She asked a little sad. “Yes baby. More than mommy..” He said sighing.

“But mommy said that you said that you were gonna marry her and dump Y/n and that we would all live together.” She said eating eggs off of his plate with her hands. I seen out of the corner of his eye that he was angry. “Mommy said what?” He asked in low voice that scared Milia. I turned around. “Okay..Milia. Do you want me to hold you?” I asked. She smiled and made grabby hands towards me. I quickly picked her up and put her in my lap. “I’ll be back.” He said getting up from the table. “Where is daddy going?” She asked. “Uhh...to the bathroom!” I said. She nodded and began to eat some more.

Jaehyun’s POV

I walked to the bathrooms and called Alexa. I tapped my foot in impatience and waited. She answered the phone. “Mm..Jaeee!” I heard her moan. “What the fuck did you tell Lia?” I asked. “What?” She asked still moaning. “You told my daughter that I was gonna leave Y/N for your ass?!” I exclaimed. “Mhmmm..she needs to know that Y/n is not yours. I am..” she whispered.

She began to moan louder and louder. “I will never leave Y/n for you. I don’t want you anymore. We are over, damn it!” I said. “Growl at me Jae...” she mumbled. I rolled my eyes and hung up on her. I came back to the table to see another person I didn’t want to...Mia...

Your POV

As I was playing with Lia, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see that it was my mom. “Miss me Y/n?” She asked. “Mia get your pregnant self away from me before I make you have miscarriage.” I said. “Oh shut up! You only act tough for Jaehyun.” She rolled her eyes. “Okay well you can go. You’re so irritating.” I said. “Who is this woman, Y/n?” Lia asked. Mia gasped. “Lia? Babygirl, it’s me!! I’m g-“ “Mia!” I heard Jaehyun call. I turned in his direction and smiled. “Hey baby..” She said. “Excuse me?” I said getting up with Lia in my arms. Everyone in the restaurant had stop their movements and watched us. “For the last time, Mia we are DIVORCED!” Jaehyun yelled.

“I don’t care!! You are still mine! You know you shouldn’t be messing around some young whore like Y/n.” “Mia, I’ve told you many times to watch your fucking mouth.” Jaehyun said walking up on Mia. I stopped him. “Jae. Quit it.” I said. “You should have stopped messing with young girls when you stopped messing with Alexa!” Mia exclaimed. “But no...you’re still in your same damn ways. Screwing bitches like Y/n and then getting them pregnant. I know that my girls are gifted with my pussy but you shouldn’t screw them all the time and then dump them with a child to take of!” Mia exclaimed.

Girls?? What does she mean? There’s another one? Jaehyun breathed out and ran his fingers through his hair. He’s pissed. “Okay bitch, you get your ass out of my fucking sight before I raise hell and shut this damn restaurant down.” He snapped. “Daddy!” Lia cried. “I told you Jae! I’m not done yet!” She said. “Get out of here. Now.” I said. She huffed and left the restaurant. “The fuck you all looking at?! Mind your damn business!” He exclaimed. He walked out of the restaurant. “Sorry everyone!” I apologized.

I grabbed my things and Lias and left the restaurant after him. We got in the car and it was dead silent. He had his head in his hand and bounced his leg up and down. “Daddy? Are you mad at me?” Lia asked. He couldn’t answer. I picked her up and put her in my lap. “No..Daddy isn’t angry with you. He couldn’t if he tried. Let’s watch a cartoon huh?” I said to her. She nodded and I pulled out my phone, going to YouTube and watching kid shows. She grabbed my phone and giggled as she watched.

I thought about her clothes and everything and I seen that she didn’t have anything with her. “Excuse me driver? Can you take me to a clothing store?” I asked. He nodded. I turned to Jaehyun and seen him in the same state. “I’m buying Lia some clothes for the trip of course.” I said. He breathed out and handed me his wallet. I took it. “Thanks.” I said.

We finally made it to the store and I went straight to the baby clothes. I looked at the outfits and smiled. “Which one would you like?” I asked holding her and showing her. “Umm...this one!!” She said. I picked up the pink outfit and she grabbed a purple dress. “Ooh! I like this one! It matches one of my dresses I have with me.” I said. She giggled. “What about this...green one?” I asked. She scrunched nose up and pushed it away. “Green icky..” she said. I smiled.

“Yeah, Daddy doesn’t like that green neither.” I said. She’s like Jaehyun so much. “Okay, do you like the white one?” I asked. She gasped and grabbed the dress. “I love white!” She said hugging it. Aww, Jae likes that color too. We chose three more outfits and we went to the shoes. I picked her out three pairs of sandals and some pink shoes to wear. I went to the front and grabbed some diapers and more baby products.

We made it back to the car and Jaehyun was now on his phone. I gave him back his wallet and put Lia in her seatbelt. “Daddy look at my clothes!! Are they pretty?!” She asked waving the bags in his face he smiled and took the bags. “They are so pretty..just like you.” He said pinching her cheeks. She giggled and pulled out the pink dress. “Can I wear this one?” She asked. He nodded. “Sure, do you want me to put it on you now?” He asked her taking it. She nodded and held her arms up. I took her out of her seatbelt and he stood her up carefully.

He undid her shorts but she quickly pushed his hands away. “No..” she mumbled. He frowned. “What do you mean no? Let daddy undress you..” He said pulling her little shorts down. After he did, she shrieked and jumped into my lap. “What’s wrong baby?” I asked her. Jaehyun was reaching for her again until he stopped his movements. “Lia...what’s on your legs?” He asked her. I looked down to see that there were burn marks and bruises on her tiny thighs.

I gasped. “Take her shirt off.” Jaehyun said to me. I made quick of her shirt and seen purple bruises on her back. I gasped. “Jaehyun, these are beating marks and cigarette burns!” I said. Lia began to cry. “Mommy angry with me!” She said. “Baby...who did this to you?” He asked. “Mommy angry with me!” She cried again. He picked her up and sat her in his lap. “Tell Daddy who touched you.” He said. “Mommy and her friends...” she mumbled. “What friends?” “Mike and Larry...” She mumbled playing with her fingers.

“THIS BITCH!” He yelled. “STOP THE FUCKING CAR!” He yelled to the driver. “Where does mommy stay?” He asked her. “Ho..twel? Hot..uhh..Ho..yellow?” She mumbled trying to pronounce it. “A Hotel? Okay..” He mumbled. He began to dress her and he had a certain look in his eyes. “Jae..don’t do nothing stupid.” I said. He gave me a look that I knew he was too far out of reach at this point. There’s no stopping him. “Take me to the house we’re staying at please.” Jaehyun said.

We made there and he got out the car. He came back after a few minutes he had came back with black skinny jeans, a black shirt with a black cap and some black shoes on. I know that outfit...I know it well. “Take me to the hotel she’s staying at and take Y/n and Milia around Hawaii afterwards.” He said from the front seat. He turned around and looked at me. “Could you cover her up a little more?” He asked referring to her bruises. I nodded.

We made it to the hotel and by this time, Lia was asleep. I saw Jae pull something from the glove department. As I looked closer, it was gun. I widened my eyes as he cocked it back. “Jaehyun. I said don’t do anything stupid!” I whispered yelled. He turned to me instantly. “No one touches my fucking daughter.” He growled. “But shooting?! That’s not gonna solve anything but get you in trouble or in jail, or worse, prison!!” I exclaimed. “Look when you have your own child you will do anything and I mean anything to get revenge on the ones who touched the most precious thing in your life.” He said.

I shed a tear. “Jae..please.” I begged trying to change his mind. He leaned back and kissed me and kissed Lia on her forehead. “Take them around Hawaii.” He said as he got out of the car. “JAE!” I called. He opened the door to the hotel and walked to the counter. The car then pulled off and I started to think the worst scenarios.

VI    •  aqui nem é um plot direito, eu só queria jogar com os arquétipos (e não canons!) da katniss everdeen e do peeta mellark. sabe, ela toda durona e desconfiada mesmo quando tem nada pra desconfiar; e ele desde sempre apaixonado nela, fazendo tudo por ela mesmo que signifique se sacrificar, etc. posso jogar tanto com a kat quanto o peeta.

VII    •   outro que eu gostaria muito de jogar desde o começo porque eu sou fanfiqueira sim vai peitar??? hKDJFNJ eu assisti um filme sobre esse plot mas realmente não me lembro do nome, deve ser dos anos 90 ou começo dos anos 2000, enfim, é o seguinte: muse e foi convidada para ser madrinha de casamento da irmã, e elas meio que... se detestam por baixo dos panos, sabe? são ácidas uma com a outra, tentam se prejudicar e são bem passivas-agressivas. só que a irmã dessa muse a combinou com um carinha que ela desde sempre detesta e provavelmente vai dar uma confusão se continuarem como par. então ela inventa de última hora que está namorando e contrata muse f, um ator, para fingir ser o tal do namorado e participar de todo o cronograma até o casamento.

VIII    • um príncipe (ou princesa!) que é... assim... o diabo. é o diabo para lidar com a impressa, um diabo no próprio palácio onde mora, está sempre se envolvendo em alguma polêmica --- tipo, nem precisa ser polêmica como se envolver com drogas, coisas ilícitas, elu pode ser apenas extremamente intransigente ou mimade, dependendo da época que vamos jogar, ela podia ser semelhante a lady di que dava o que falar quebrando regras da f*milia real, deixando a r*inha eliz*beth putassa etc, se engajar em causas sociais... mas é só pra dar uma ideia.. mas então tem esse assessore que parece ser a única pessoa no mundo que é capaz de fazer com que elu u escute.

IX    •  (hpverse) eu também queria que esse se passasse em hogwarts... mas é que eu sou uma bobona e sei lá, parece mais nostalgico pra mim JNDJD mas se você quiser muitão e achar que combina mais, jogamos no mundo da magia mesmoh. BOM, ESSA IDEIA É MEIO DOIDA. seria um casal que são super highschool sweethearts, childhood friends que possuem inúmeras memórias juntos, got each others back, são os maiores parceiros que você já viu. no entanto, nas férias um deles presencia uns bruxos cometendo ilicitudes e é flagrado E AÍ VRAU, ELU É OBLIVIADO. e então elu volta para a escola sem responder as cartas do outro e sem memória NENHUMA. sentiu o drama????? sentiu o choro na garganta????? é isso o que eu quero, pra viagem, por favor. bonus points se passar um pouco antes da primeira ou segunda guerra bruxa e esse rolê tiver a ver com o tio voldy, mas minha criatividade não cruzou essa linha de trama -qq. nós podemos pensar juntos ♥

L’Oréal and Alphabet's Verily Are Working on Extremely Personal Skincare

L’Oréal is always experimenting with ways to make beauty a more tech-savvy industry, with a personalized makeup dispenser, a home hair dye device, wearable UV sensors, and more. Weird gadgets aside, the company is now partnering with Verily, Google parent Alphabet’s biotech subsidiary, with a goal of making beauty and skincare even more personal, but backed by science.

Skincare���that is, the serums, cleansers, and moisturizers most of us slather on our bodies—is a $100 billion industry and is projected to grow to $145 billion by 2028. Some of us buy products for preventative reasons. I use a variety of creams with SPF to ward off skin cancer, which I am genetically predisposed to, and also potions with retinol and vitamin C, because I am a tiny bit vain and would like to have smooth, clear, wrinkle-free skin until I die. (This is not asking too much.)

Then there are the one in four Americans who struggle with skin diseases like acne, rosacea, psoriasis, and dermatitis, and figuring out how to treat those issues is an incredibly personal struggle—the formulations of various recommended products might work for some but not for all. L’Oréal and Verily’s new partnership is primarily a research one: The two companies will work together and with dermatologists to launch a platform to study skin biology. Eventually, that research could lead to the development of skincare products that would help people deal with skin issues—or, if possible, prevent them entirely.

“When we use skincare products, when we have acne or eczema, there’s a lifelong management of your skin,” said Guive Balooch, L’Oréal’s vice president overseeing its technology incubator. “We knew that we had to figure out a way to go beyond what is being done today in the beauty industry, and go deeper and understand if we could build better platforms.”

So what does that mean for those of us fumbling our way through Sephora trying to cobble together a skincare routine that won’t exacerbate our existing problems and might actually cure them? Well, not much, for now. L’Oréal and Verily plan to launch their platform for dermatologists within the next year. That platform has physical elements—spectral devices, optical sensors, and measurement tools that dermatologists can use on patients to collect more data about the skin—and a digital side, with new algorithms built around understanding skin conditions like acne and rosacea. Presumably, dermatologists can prescribe treatments for skin conditions and then input the success of those treatments into L’Oréal and Verily’s platform, thereby improving the algorithm.

I see a dermatologist once a year for my annual skin screening, but also just to ask little questions about how the routine I’ve created is affecting my skin. Did I give myself milia with this incredibly popular avocado eye cream? (Yes, I definitely did.) Is this sudden dark spot on my cheek problematic and/or treatable? (No, and yes.) I imagine all of this information I provide being used to improve an algorithm that can then be used to create deeply personal skincare routines that actually work, and reader, I confess I get a little thrill. It’s a very cool idea! We’re nowhere close to that, but this is an interesting step in that direction.

“One day, we can imagine I would have information about the biology of my skin that could tell me a certain product would work really well,” Balooch said. “I believe that’s a good thing, because the more that we understand our consumers the better, but the more consumers understand their own skin, the better decisions they can make, and the more effective the products will be.”

There are, of course, some questions about the kinds of products or services that L’Oréal might create based on the data it gleans from this partnership. Personalized skincare startups are a dime a dozen these days, but by working with Verily, L’Oréal may actually have science to back up whatever serums it eventually develops. Products that treat medical conditions are required to be approved by the Food and Drug Administration and must undergo clinical trials to ensure they’re safe and effective, and it’s unclear whether L’Oréal will go that route, or if the personalized skincare products will be more of the cosmetic variety. The first step is gathering data, and as someone who is deeply fascinated by both beauty products and health research, I’m curious to see the results of L’Oréal’s more scientific approach to skincare.

What are the reactions of the actual nurses in the field about the 12-hour or longer nursing shifts?

To take the research and data gathering further, I interviewed some nurses coming from different departments from different hospitals and ask them the following questions:

Do you work long shifts (more than 12 hours)?

Are you a PRO/ANTI 12-hour or longer nursing shift model?

Why are you Pro/Anti working 12-hour or longer shifts?

And here is what they have to say:

1. “Not working long shifts regularly But sometimes if needed, I’m anti with this, because long hours opens room for errors. It is Physically tiring and mentally draining. Physical and mental plays a big role to nurses in order to stay focus and give the best care possible. “

2. “I work 8 hour shifts in a med-surgical/telemetry unit specializing in stroke patients. I personally am not in favor of working more than 12 hours. With the intensity of nursing care in an acute setting, extended shifts may lead to fatigue and burnout, which may compromise patient care. The risk of adverse effects is possibly greater as well because of mental and physical exhaustion. Nursing is a career that is extremely demanding and the strains of long shifts can manifest mistakes in great consequences.”

3. “I am pro-12hr shifts (that includes off in between days, 2days on then off,back for 1) i think it may decrease nurses' burnt out. I firmly believe it helps with the continuity of care and less confusing hand offs.”

What does recent studies say about 12 hours or longer nursing shifts?

-A video about a study conducted in Washington comparing day and night shifts as well as their effects.

Recent studies shows that long shifts is associated with sleep deprivation which is also linked to family stressors.

Long shifts are associated with sickness absences among nurses.

A study in Europe propose that long shifts reduce education opportunity and discussion of patient care which may “jeopardize the quality and safety of care for patients.
