Would you be happy to see Mikyx return to G2 with Hans Sama in the bot lane?
I know it is only a rumour but boy...it was so unexpected...
Also what about Targa and Flakked?
And if Upset will leave Fnatic will Rekkles take his spot?
This off-season will be a wild ride...

Jankos contemplates LEC future after playoff loss to FNC: “I don’t know how much I have left”
Tumblr media
Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski, a seasoned jungler, has a lot of pondering to do and important decisions to make regarding his future as a professional League of Legends player after a terrible conclusion to his 2023 Summer Split. In a post-game interview following Team Heretics’ postseason loss to Fnatic, the 28-year-old star told Georgia “Troubleinc” Paras that he has plenty of time to reflect and consider what he wants to do in the coming future. He did, however, acknowledge the possibility that he steps back from competitive play after such a lengthy and storied career. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJJ6e_-h3Gg “I didn’t plan on losing, so I didn’t plan on my future,” Jankos said. “I don’t know how much I have left. I’m not sure if I’m even gonna be competing next year or not. Maybe, maybe not, who knows? I have a lot of time to reflect, and I’m just glad that I was able to help Heretics and my teammates.” Jankos’ is one of the most experienced players in the league, having made his LEC debut back in 2014 with ROCCAT. Since then, he has won five league championships, a Mid-Season Invitational, and was part of one of the most dominant rosters in European history with G2 Esports. This year, however, he struggled to find the same levels of success with Heretics. The veteran superstar also wished that this version of Heretics was formed back in the 2023 Winter Split because they might’ve been able to build more synergy and reach greater heights. Unfortunately for him and the rest of the team, however, the organization was only able to find this winning formula in the final season of the year. The organization acquired mid laner Vincent “Vetheo” Berrié and AD carry Victor “Flakked” Lirola after a ninth-place finish in the spring, adding firepower to a team that sorely needed it to keep up with other LEC rosters. Due to their lackluster performances in the past two seasons, however, Heretics had to win the 2023 Summer Split or miss the Season Finals entirely due to low championship points. Many supports hope that Jankos won’t decide to hang up the keyboard and mouse after this year, but if he does decide to retire, he will be leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered by League fans around the world. Flakked to Heretics and Supa to Movistar Riders: Super League signings begin
Tumblr media
The world of esports also has phases when it comes to completing transfers. Since all the players want to go to the top flight, until it closes, no one responds to the requests and questions of the national teams. This is why, until the LEC rosters have been closed, the positions in the Super League teams have not begun to move. Today, November 11 in the morning, leaks have emerged about two of the main names to follow, Flakked and Supa.
Big moves in the AD Carry position
The shooter position is one of the positions that has moved the most this offseason in the LEC, and with it, also in the Super League. Several Spanish players have shown a high level in that position since last season, and this has meant that they had offers from abroad.
Finally, two of the greatest exponents of the ADCarry position in our country, Flakked and Supa, will play in the Super League, according to what Anonimotum and Eros have leaked. Both had several options, although their situations after last season were very different.
Flakked ends up in Heretics after leaving a G2 that did not achieve its goal in the LEC and did not shine in the world. After this, both he and his support, Targamas, and Jankos, have had to explore options, and it seems that the 'tetón' has opted for Madrid.
Supa, meanwhile, stood out last year with G2 Arctic. The dissolution of the Wolves at the end of last season, however, left the shooter without a team, but he was not short of offers. Heretics himself, Karmine Corp, Vitality Bee, and Fnatic Team Queso, among others, tried to hire him, but it seems that he has decided on Movistar Riders.
These are two of the movements that a priori seem closest to happen in the Super League. There are many movements that are still unknown, but the market passes quickly, and the new signings will not take long.

Heretics, the next step for Jankos after leaving G2
Tumblr media
The movements of the LEC this offseason are being incredible. From the departure of Flakked and Jankos from G2 to the return of Rekkles to Fnatic, the arrivals of Heretics and KOI have opened up new options for players. There have been many moves, but the former G2 jungler had no place at the moment in the top competition.
Now, as Anonimotum has revealed, Jankos would have become part of the Team Heretics first team, in a move that has raised the passions of Spanish fans, who have closely followed the Pole since he was in G2.

hi! i’m not very into MLP myself (i love the ponies/designs but haven’t been into it since i was a kid) but i love collection and toy based fandoms, especially older ones like MLP! i really enjoy reading your posts about being in the old web fandom and i was wondering if, besides finding old sites on the wayback machine, there are any “oral history” type write-ups on the history of the fandom? the fanlore page was only about friendship is magic and i am just itching to know more. thanks!!
Ahhh, the best repository of that was probably the old version of the MLP Trading Post, but unfortunately after they moved the old board eventually went under. (What happened was MLPTP.com + the board was run by a user named Jenn, but at some point she dropped out of communication. So the mods registered MLPTP.net, created a new board, and everything migrated over there.)
Probably the biggest early fandom event was the absolute chaos that followed the release of the G2 ponies in 1997.
Now keep in mind up to this point the G1 ponies were the only My Little Ponies to ever have existed. So when people heard MLP was coming back they assumed they would be in the same molds; what ELSE would a My Little Pony look like?
Well, the G2s looked radically different: smaller, skinnier, and with fox-like heads.
After the initial shock died down, MLP collectors split into two groups: people who liked the G2s and people who hated the G2s. (Full disclosure, I was 100% in the latter camp, I thought they were awful, lol. I do have a small collection of them now though.)
In theory liking or disliking a toy is unimportant, but in fandom EVERY little thing is important, so a pony civil war broke out. Groups were created to promote / protest "the new ponies", banners were displayed on websites, passionate arguments were made for either side, and flame wars broke out constantly.
Among the craziness I remember:
- someone saying not liking the new ponies "was a hate crime"
- HQT (High Queen Tiffany) starting a petition for Hasbro to bring back the old ponies and getting so much flak that she ended up taking down her whole site; this sent shockwaves through the community as she had the second- or third-largest MLP fan site at the time, including one of the most active message boards.
- and someone on the Pony People Mailing List saying people who didn't like the new ponies were Nazis, and getting lambasted for comparing genocide of real people to toys.
If you're thinking "Wow, that sounds dumb" . . . absolutely, lol!
But that's not to say the fandom wasn't any fun; there were also friendships formed, people chatting about who their favorite pony was, people trading ponies, the international ponies being discovered--it was a robust community, overall a blast, and the G2 civil wars were just a little sliver of all the activity.
Subsequent MLP generations, like G3, did not get a strong reaction because a) people had gotten used to the idea of different pony gens looking different and b) the community was no longer mainly hot-blooded teenagers eager for a fight. Now we were tired 20-somethings working retail jobs. (Also the G3s looked really close to G1s, soooo, yeah, pretty universally loved.)
I do think the Old Fandom instinct to go for the throat is much healthier than the brony "love and tolerance towards anyone who calls themself a brony" attitude; never assume someone is your friend just because of a shared hobby. Some fandom folk you meet will be nice, some will suck, that's just how it goes.

Joining us in the Allspark Studios today is the strongest and wisest of all Autobots, Optimus Prime!  Will he fulfill his role of protecting all the life on your toy shelves, or will he split into three autonomous modules and spend the day watching Nextflix with himself?  Tune in after the break to find out!
At this point, you could basically fill a small museum with all the different versions of Optimus Prime.  Each one has its own personality of design, with high points and limitations of the era within which they were created.  Having been a fan of the franchise for most of my life, I have owned nearly all of them, minus G2 Go-Bot Optimus Prime, which still leaves a void in my collector’s heart.  Every time I buy an Optimus figure, there has been a moment of reckoning, as I look at the new figure and compare it to the Optimus Prime in my head; the spirit of the character, as interpreted by my once 7-year-old’s mind as he watched cartoon Optimus in awe every Saturday morning in the 80’s.  While each figure is essentially him, none of them have ever truly come close to glory of the cartoon aesthetic of Optimus Prime while maintaining the ability to transform.  While we may be getting an official MP (and some 3P) that will do just this, finding a figure at the average collector’s budget just didn’t seem likely…then Hasbro dropped Siege Optimus on us.  Let’s see how he measures up!
Vehicle Mode
There are a lot of really good things going on in this vehicle mode, even if it does not perfectly embody G1 Prime’s cab mode.  It has the right basic square cab shape, clear-ish windows, tires on metal pins, and a nice amount of red, blue and silver with just a bit of white thrown in.  From a bit of a distance, it comes really close to getting things on the G1 dot, but there are a few elements that break the illusion.  Most of the non-slavishly G1 elements come out of looks versus function needs, and I am OK with that.
The smokestacks are not the “right” proportion, and if they were, they would get in the way of transformation and posing/play. The “overcab” light section that also contains the grill, headlights, and bumper is needed to turn a heroic torso section into a flat-faced cab front.  All things considered, the only design element I find a little off-putting is the grill, which is covered in the same translucent blue plastic as the windows and lights.  I would have preferred for this section to have been grey or silver, but that is easy enough to correct with some touch up paint if it really starts to bother me.
The paint ops are nice enough on this mode, with the exception that the “battle damage” was not clearly designed with this mode in mind.  There is a little bit on the front just under the windshield, and the shoulder damage is still in view, but aside from that the rest of the vehicle mode is devoid of this random detail.  I understand budgets come into play, and perhaps this was the best medium between all or none in both modes, but it leaves the vehicle mode with random markings that just seem out of place.
One feature of the Siege line that I love on this figure is all of the 5mm ports.  Between the deluxes like Cog and Six-Gun, the Micromasters and Battlemasters, a creative young (or old) fan can turn Optimus into a veritable “battle convoy”.  It is even possible for Headmasters and Titanmasters to get in on the fun, if only as pilots for the added weaponry.  This is a great move on Hasbro’s part, and I think most fans will love it as much as I do.
  Robot Mode
Truck Mode was great.  Robot mode is where Siege Prime really shines.  First off, he has the right look.  Except for the wheels at his sides, the “overcab” panel (which could be looked at as a jetpack) and the panels on his forearms (which are way less obtrusive than the panels on Classics Prime), he is basically cartoon Prime.  Get rid of the battle damage paint and swap most of his greys with his whites, and he’s there despite those other details, all for the cost of a voyager (local pricing policies may apply).
One of the things that really pushes this Prime to the top of my personal list is the insane amount of articulation.  He has:
  Ankle tilts
Knee joints
Lateral knee movement
Lateral thigh movement
Hips on rotating swivels
Waist movement
Backward shoulder swivels
Shoulders on rotating swivels
Lateral bicep movement
Elbows
Swivel fists
Swivel neck
Partially moveable head on ball joint
He can do lots of awesome poses, such as the classic scene from the ‘85 movie where he transforms and blasts Decepticons from the air as he leaps above them.
This is truly one of the most iconic Optimus Prime figures ever, especially at anywhere near an affordable price for most fans.  If you throw in the added fun from all the 5mm ports and the ability to add weapons and other figures into the mix, he is well worth the cost.
  Transformation
While I was able to transform this figure back and forth without the instructions, the first time through was a bit of a learning curve to get all the parts in the right place.  While I enjoy a mildly challenging transformation, this might make Prime a little difficult for younger fans.  Don’t be surprised if you gift him to one of the kiddoes and find yourself being asked to switch him back and forth.  At least he’s not as frustrating as Car Robots were back in the day.
    Recommendation
I give Siege Optimus Prime 9 blast effects out of 10!  He is a packed with fun in vehicle mode, ready for action posing in robot mode, and very close to the ideal Optimus Prime with a price tag that won’t kill your wallet.  While he may still need some assistance if gifted to younger fans, I still think they will love him as much as the G1 generation will.  Make sure to keep your eyes peeled and pick him up as soon as you have the chance!
    Firedrive
During my review of Megatron and the Wave 1 Battlemasters and Micromasters, I lamented slightly about how HasTak ditched the Japanese Targetmaster molds from Legends in favor of newly designed Battlemaster molds.  Since then I have spent more time with Firedrive and Blowpipe and they have grown on me because of their designs.  There is a certain amount of curve or puffiness in the techno-organic, Cybertronian style that the Legends figures just don’t have.  Once you look at Firedrive’s shins and shoulders, you will see what I am talking about.  There is something very classic to their look, and I am happier now that we got new figures because of it.  I still wish Firedrive had a slight bit more articulation, but I will keep buying Battlemasters because they look great and come with blast effects.
    Lionizer
Lionizer is a Cybertronian lion whose tail becomes a back-mounted blaster, and who can also transform into a sword/blaster (Qualta blade, #farscape).  He comes with a slashing effect that also looks nice on Megatron’s sword/blaster.  I think he is my favorite Battlemaster so far.
    Race Car Patrol
This is a neat set of mini-figures.  Both Roadhandler and Swindler maintain vehicle modes that look close to their G1 forms of a Trans-Am and a DeLorean.  If that wasn’t cool enough, they have decently articulated forms for such tiny robots, and they can combine into a blaster (of sorts).  The only knock I will give them is that they don’t stand very well on their own if you do much more than a vanilla standing pose.
    Battle Patrol
These were the Micromasters I wanted as a kid (who was considered too old for toys by that time).  Topshot and Flak are great recreations of half of the original team.  There is something cool about tiny Cybertronian tanks and missile launchers, especially since they are a bit more in proportion to the city bots.  Due to the way their feet are designed, the Battle Patrol is more stable in standing and action poses than their Race Car Patrol brethren.  They also form a much more convincing blaster, which is almost as cool as having a DeLorean on the team.
      Siege Optimus Prime
  Lionizer
  Firedrive
  Autobot Race Car Patrol
  Autobot Battle Patrol
Siege Optimus Prime, Wave 1 Autobot Micromaster and Battlemaster Gallery and Review! Joining us in the Allspark Studios today is the strongest and wisest of all Autobots, Optimus Prime!

Returning LEC star poised to set new format’s regular season kill record after dominant first week of Summer Split
Tumblr media
Many League of Legends fans were unsure how the new LEC format would influence the tournament as teams fought for survival over just nine games of the regular season when it was unveiled at the start of the year. But most people can agree that this new structure has made the league significantly more thrilling to watch as a spectator after almost a full year. During the opening week of the 2023 LEC Summer Split, Team Heretics’ new AD carry Victor “Flakked” Lirola made a splash in his return to the league, rising above the rest of his peers with a league-leading 31 kills over three games. The 22-year-old helped his team finish with a perfect first week, picking up wins against SK Gaming, Astralis, and Team Vitality. https://twitter.com/LEC/status/1670126698287833088 The talented star even broke out three different picks, with matches on Draven, Lucian, and Zeri. He only died four times while also holding 52.5 percent of his team’s total kills and 84.7 percent kill participation, according to competitive League stats aggregate Oracle’s Elixir. Flakked was the most dominant marksman in the league this week, propelling Heretics to the organization’s best start in its short history while also earning himself Player of the Game honors for all three matches played. This puts Flakked on pace to break the new LEC format kill record of 56 kills, set by Heretics’ previous AD carry Jakob “Jackspektra” Kepple during the 2023 Spring Split. Should the young star continue on this explosive path, he could end up with around 80 to 90 kills through nine games. Flakked is making his return to the LEC stage after spending half of 2023 on Heretics’ Academy team in the LVP SuperLiga. It was a surprising turn of events for the promising prospect, especially after a breakout year with G2 Esports where he helped capture the 2022 LEC Spring championship, a top-four finish at that year’s Mid-Season Invitational, and a World Championship appearance. Meanwhile, Heretics’ debut in the LEC has been filled with disappointment, with a recent ninth-place finish during the 2023 Spring Split. Despite the team’s veteran jungler Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski having a strong season, Heretics couldn’t stay consistent enough to break into the group stage as they did in the Winter Split, only managing to take home three wins and missing the playoffs. With such a powerful start to the summer, Heretics are poised and ready to make a deep run for the playoffs. If they can continue their aggressive and cohesive style of play through next week, Heretics could earn themselves some much-needed space between them and the bottom two spots in the standings. You can catch Heretics in action when the 2023 LEC Summer Split returns on Saturday, June 24. Read the full article

10 years of the TF movies and this one question in me still resides.
Am I the only one who feels that there are a couple of double standards going on when it comes to how some people bash the movies for not being true to the source material enough or at all due to them how different they are from G1 yet when other non G1 series do things differently from G1 not a lot of people seem to get mad and uptight about at least not as much.
Like for example. People complain that Movie Optimus is a long nose truck and not a flat nose truck and that he should've been a flat nose instead yet G2 Optimus and Armada Optimus who came before him also had long nose trucks yet they don't seem to get hated on. People rip AOE Galvatron a new one for not resembling his G1 design and that he doesn't have his Unicron origin yet other versions of him don't exactly have that going on either with a few exceptions yet they never get hated upon. People give Movie Drift the stink eye for being a Samurai sterotype yet IDW Drift when he isn't written by James Roberts was even more so yet Movie Drift seems to get the most flak in comparison. People rage on couple of characters that don't act or look like the G1 characters yet we got characters like TFA Prowl,TFP Breakdown,Armada Cyclonus, etc who are pretty much new characters compared to their G1 versions and they never got the same level of bashing the majority of the movie characters have gotten in that regard. People raged at the new direction that AOE and TLK are taking with the fantasy and knight element saying that it's straying from the fiction yet the fantasy elements and knights have been present in other Tf stories long before the movies came int play and adapted them. Those are just examples I've presented. I know not every fan thinks like this since every fan has different reasons for liking or disliking a different take on a character or element lie the way the character was written or that he or she didn’t get enough time to shine are valid but still it just feels like the movie franchise as a whole seems to be the only target to be given flak for not being like G1 and that the others are given a free pass despite doing the same things the movies are doing.
