Name and pronouns: Haneul "Hannah" Choi (she/her)

Short bio:

Hannah grew up in a religious family but got more into esoteric because of her late grandmother who secretly practiced it. After her parents death, that shortly followed her grandmother's, she felt immense guilt since they fought that day and never been able to fix it. Hannah lived under her aunt's care in a household that couldn't care less but accomplishing her own goal (cultish stuffs fr) and wanted her niece to be "normal" by dyeing her hair and making her wear contact lenses. So in her teen years, Hannah lived in guilt and self-hatred especially at her body that's going through visibly unnatural changes. It's thanks to Minhyeok that she was able to regain a little confidence. Although she didn't want to be dependant to him, and not wanting to be controlled by her aunt in the future, she started searching for herself. Little by little, Hannah regained more confidence and control until her aunt blackmailed her and forced her to take vow of chastity. The day of ceremony was interrupted by the Seraph Gabriel who managed to track Solomon's descendant and made an apparition in the church. In that moment, it was a new start for Hannah after summoning the Deadly Sin of Wrath, Satan.

Character:

Hannah isn't entirely recovered from her past but thanks to the awareness she have, she's trying to get better. Most of the time, she's lax, passive, able to go along with others and knows what she wants. During time of crisis, or stress, she tends to be dismissive if it's a trivial matter. In time of needs, she tries to be stoic and level-headed. A trait she adapted to "get over it". During this period, she's like in auto-mode and unable to talk until the job is done. Only then she will fall asleep. Despite her awareness, Hannah is hesitant. She's afraid of her own confidence and pride thinking that it may become misplaced if she let herself go. She's afraid of losing control and will turn defensive and alerted when it's wavering.

But her neophilia, the love or enthusiasm for new things, plays its part to the will of discovering new things. And there's a lot of fascinating things especially in Hell.

Voice:

Hannah speech is unsure and hesitant like a whisper so she tends to speak with the person at close proximity. She have a voice that leans in the deep-range when serious but when relaxed it's loud and playful.

...have a Greater Key as a necklace. It's a heirloom she got from her late grandmother. Can she use it? No! But she treasure it equally!

...have a sensitive body! Like, everywhere!

...whatever the weather, she feels cozy. Too warm? To hot to move, sleep. Gentle Breeze? Relaxing, sleep. Raining or storm? Giver her the blanket. Cold? Hibernate.

...is fond of teddy bears. Mentioning this because of the two devils I'm about to mention lol.

Satan and Leraye..! This two looks very chaotic together ahah.

Brief description of relationship with chosen demons:

Satan: The devil who swept her away. Unlike in canon, she met him in his demon form and got captivated. When she followed him in Hell and turned in his human form, she got angry because he's very handsome too. She likes both forms. Hannah is still unable to express her emotion properly so she gets frustrated. Satan finds it entertaining andbtease her about it hoping to get that smack. Their relationship is a lively one. They are like a pair of atom magnet to which the nobles hesitate when to separate. Leraye: Hannah's first impression about him is he's cute. Even more when he professed his love to which she got dizzy (in a good way). They share the likeness toward stormy weather (one goes out for the lightning, the other gets cozy to sleep but would love to shower in the rain (she have ablutophilia). Unlike her inability to express her feelings to Satan, she's more relaxed with Leraye. Perhaps because he's more bold and loud. When this trio are together, loud laughter starts thundering in Gehenna.

The tone in which it should be written: Playful and fluff? Be chaotic if you want! ^^)

Hello! Could you write some Cold/allergy HCs for Luna? Like maybe some tells or how easy or difficult they can be when they are sick and need caretaking? I'm excited for your new group! Thank you for sharing!

Daeyang 👾:

Daeyang is allergic to so much: dust, ragweed, cats, rabbits, hay, grass, flowers, artificial scents and perfumes. But he is also prone to illness. This usually means he sneezes almost on a daily basis. But unfortunately, he really hates sneezing in front of people. He's also super difficult when sick and adamantly REFUSES to rest. But if someone needs to be taken care of, Daeyang is 110% on it.

Youngho 👾:

Youngho is allergic to everything, at least it often seems like it. But he also has the best immune system. (At least he claims to) and he's often very willing to take care of his members. Especially as the leader. But unfortunately he also is quite stubborn because he feels as the leader he shouldn't show weakness and therefore doesn't have any reason to rest when his allergies are bad, or on the rare occasion he gets sick. But usually a stern glare from Daeyang puts him in his place.

Seojun 💖:

Seojun is naturally really photic which causes him a lot of trouble during photoshoots as he can have full on sneezing fits from the bright lights of the cameras. He gets colds during autumn mainly because he refuses to admit he's cold and would walk around without a jacket during autumn and early winter. He also likes to sleep with his windows open during winter which almost always guarantees he'll fall sick. He gets emotional when he's sick and his members find out a lot about him when he has a fever and/or is delusional. Seojun is a pretty good caretaker. He won't coddle the members to death but he'll still take care of them in a quieter way. He's SUPER protective over Jichan and hyper-aware of how he's feeling which usually means that Seojun would be the first to figure out Jichan's sickness.

Leo 💖:

Leo isn't really allergic to anything. He also doesn't get sick a lot, but when he does it’s like 100% of the time a red flag. He doesn't like showing weakness for fear of judgment which stems back to him being bullied. The older members, especially Daeyang and Youngho, take care of him when he's sick. He is a pretty good caretaker but it'll be from afar.

Moon 👾:

Moon tends to want to be left alone when he's sick. This comes a lot from his germaphobia and he always is concerned about infecting people so therefore wants to be alone. The opposite with his allergies though. Typically when his allergies are acting up he wants to be coddled. He's the "worst" caretaker, not because he doesn't want to take care of his bandmates but because he always panics when they cough, sneeze or anything too close to him.

Gabriel 👾:

Gabriel isn't really allergic to anything, so to say, but he does get SUPER sneezy when exposed to hair spray. So when he's getting his hair done Jichan is always nearby with a box of tissues. He also is super sensitive to the cold, to the point where if the group walks outside in winter or inside to air conditioning in summer the members say bless you, even when he hasn't sneezed yet. He also, because of his sensitivity to cold, gets sick pretty often. He doesn't like being cared for when sick, but he (for… some reason) doesn't mind it when Jichan wants to take care of him.

Haneul 💖:

Haneul has TERRIBLE hay fever. Which makes him sneeze at least 8 out of 12 months. He likes cuddles when he's allergic but when he's sick, he likes to be left alone because he's embarrassed of his sneezes. The members can usually crack this layer of him but it takes some time. Haneul isn't used to taking care of his members but he always tries his best.

Jichan 💖:

Jichan was never an open person so it took a lot of time to get him out of his shell and even now, a lot of members can't get him to show weakness like when he's sick. Jichan is allergic to most animals but he loves animals so this usually doesn't bother him. Even if he's super sneezy afterwards. His sneezes are forceful and wet and it zaps a lot of his energy when he's having a fit so he likes to stifle. Pollen also sets his allergies off pretty badly. He isn't going to easily rest. He can be dragged back home, yes, but he wouldn't rest even then. Gabriel is the only one in the group who can get him to rest and take care of him. Jichan gets very cuddly when he's sick and Gabriel (coincidence or is it?) is the only one who's ever witnessed this. There's something only Gabriel knows about Jichan which is that when he's sick, he stifles a lot even when he isn't sneezing much and his sneezes are wetter. But when he has allergies, he won't stifle until it's a huge fit and his sneezes get more forceful. This is how Gabriel determines if Jichan is sick or having allergies. Jichan finds this adorable.

Sungho 👾:

Sungho is the maknae through and through. And he loves to be babied. When his allergies are bad, when he's sick, anything. But he especially loves it when Daeyang takes care of him. (Not it's definitely NOT because he has a crush on him) he has a super cute and kittenish sneeze, which he's embarrassed about and he tends to stifle it. Which gets him lectured by his bandmates. But he usually stifles when his allergies are bad because it's often when they're filming, but this often does him little to no good whatsoever because then he ends up sneezing even more.

𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 (Influential Role) - (Reserved for Angel) Seong “Seo” Yoo 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐫 - Haneul “H” Hyun

Transferred to Seong in 2011 after the death of its former leader and his father, Yoo Dae-Seong, the black market still continues to thrive under the Yoo name, and a ruthless, firm grip helps it stay that way. He kept the faction in his father’s image, a legacy ran cold in contrast to Seong’s exceptional gift of fire, and one he needed in order to be taken seriously as a boy still maturing at a crucial turning point in his life. Many members loyal to his father stepped up to show him the ropes and care for him, and he was never without guidance from his trusted familiar, Haneul, as well. Others simply parted ways, doubtful the boy could lead, and those that left were remembered for their broken fealty--if they were remembered by the world at all. The Black Market never leaves loose ends.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭  - (Reserved for Jager) Vivienne “Vee” Levitt

A person hired by Seo’s father that has made many contacts in their tenure. They receive requests for things hard to find and costly to obtain and are responsible for locating and executing these wishes flawlessly. Not only does this person report directly to H, they oftentimes work with him, the raven familiar an asset in many ways for inconspicuous surveying and an excellent line of sight that can spot their assignment easily.

𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 - OPEN

A newer hire selected to undertake all trafficking procedures. Their skills were more valuable to Seo than the man his father had selected, so he respectfully made the switch. The trafficking specialist makes sure all Fae or other items are transported to their destinations in one piece. 

They are under no circumstances to ever traffic shifters, and are instructed to report back to H with any leads on those that do traffic shifters. 

𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 - (Reserved for Kitty) Gabriel Byun

Gabriel met H and Seong through similar connections around five years ago. They got to know each other slowly and built a good friendship. After some conversations, Gabriel was selected for the position as a trusted person to take over the position. They are in charge of locating all targets and disposing of them correctly and discretely. If information is needed from the target before their demise, it is the assassin‘s responsibility to make sure every bit of information is received. All information is to be given directly to H once the job is completed.

𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - OPEN

A person hired by Seo’s father when Seo and H were younger. Someone they trust to make sure that all jobs are taken care of. The distribution underboss is in charge of contacting clients, delivering products, keeping customers apprised of any new goods to hit the market and giving payment back to H. All of which takes place in different secure locations every time.

Hired by Seong’s father, the security underboss has been around the family and business for years. They are a trusted member of the black market, and responsible for all business security as well as the protection of the Yoo family home. The security underboss reports mainly to H, but also meets with Seo twice a month for check-ins and updates.

This faction is for a seedy underbelly operating under Salem’s nose. Only those involved are aware of its existence--and, well, some authorities and clients. However, they do not like to be out in the known and take many preventative measures to ensure they are able to barter in the shadows successfully without fear of being found. There is no set location with the market, the meets and sales always moving and rarely in the same place twice. 

Most of the business is handled by Seong’s familiar, Haneul, as the witch has little time to mingle in the minutia of business, though he can make himself available if the necessity is there. However, “H” is an extension of the market’s leader in every way and is treated with the same respect and speaks with the same authority as Seong.

As far as the open canons, how/when they were hired can be discussed with Angel. They are very loose concepts with nothing really set in stone except for the hierarchy.

WRITING CHALLENGE: TIAH'S SHIPS

I'M PRETTY SURE i've only had like 5 official ships in this verse, and only 3 of them exist nowadays so pls bear with me.

what was the first ship you remember creating? do you remember how they came together?

The first ship I remember creating is Fakehell. To be fair, they weren't intentionally meant to be a couple, it kinda just happened. The first ship I ever recall actually plotting out to be a (not quite) couple is Haneul and Elodie.

which ship breaks your heart most frequently?

Haneul and Elodie.

who is your newest ship?

Gabriel made a face but stepped closer in order to allow his grace to raise the temperature around them. It was hardly noticeable, but he hoped it would offer some sense of comfort anyway. “I wouldn’t know,” he said, small mischievous smile forming at the implications behind the word. “Angel. We don’t drip bodily fluids like running faucets.” That was the one thing he didn’t care for with humans – or in HaNeul’s case, those close to humans – their ability to absolutely leak from everywhere.

Still, he felt guilty for keeping the other man waiting; a last-minute request from his brother had pulled him away from his intentions for the evening, leaving him running behind and annoyed at Uriel once again. “For what it’s worth, I’m sorry you were left out in the cold. I would say that it was unexpected, but Uriel’s dramatics are commonplace. Remind me to never introduce you.”

Long legs carried him toward the warmth of the art gallery, the inside lit up in soft winter colors as people milled about waiting for the conversation to begin. “You painted something for tonight?” Gabriel hadn’t, or well – hadn’t painted anything appropriate to bring. His works lately had been darker than normal, brought on by the reappearance of his brethren.  Perhaps later, if HaNeul wanted, it could be shown in private. “You know what they say about me, yes? That I am the mediator, the peacemaker, between my brothers. But even I have my limits. If that man who paints the googly-eyed dogs is here again tonight, I cannot be responsible for my actions.”

Shoulders bumped teasingly, soft smile returning – this time without the undertones of a joke. “Afterward, come back to my place. I have something to show you.”
