“We need to talk” for petolly!

She heard him clomping down the stairs before she saw him. Ignoring him at first, she kept tinkering with the columns on her screen to try and get the outcome she was looking for.

“We need to talk.” he said, carelessly tossing his backpack onto the couch before flopping down on top of it. He bounced a little, then stopped himself with one foot on the ground and one resting up on the top of the couch. 

Molly pushed her chair away from her lab table and let it take her over to the couch, spinning around at the same time. He ran his fingers through his hair before letting out a dramatic sigh. The two fell silent for a moment, then Molly spoke up.

“This is usually the part where you tell me what you wanted to talk about.” she prompted, motioning to him with her hands. He moved his head so he could see her better, nodding a bit as he did. Flipping over onto his stomach, he rested his chin on the armrest of the couch. 

“Liz said hi to me in the hall today.” he finally said, words kind of muffled since half of his mouth was pushed into the material of the armrest, “And I said you too back to her.” Molly let out a not so hidden snort before rolling her eyes.  

“This is what you wanted to talk about?” she groaned a bit, dramatically spinning her chair back around so her back was to Peter, “I thought you had a real problem.” 

“This is a real problem!” he argued, sitting up and giving her back an incredulous look. Again, she snorted.

“A spider problem.” she emphasized with a glance over her shoulder, “This isn’t a lab for gossip; it’s a lab for science.” she gestured to her tools and notepads scattered about. 

“Uh-huh, well, what about that time you wanted to talk about the weird drama going on between Betty and Jason?” he argued back, throwing his arm toward her in an almost accusatory manner. She rolled her eyes before fixing him with a serious look.

“My lab, my rules. Which means I get to change them whenever I want.” she said matter of factly, lifting her chin up a bit as she did. He groaned, letting his head fall through the space between his legs.

I haven't been here since... the nsfw blog was ended it think. You're style's more refined with the simple shapes and stuff shapes and I'm in love with it! Did characters get redesigns? I'm not sure whether or not I remember Merch looking like that. Probably my memory or something

13. How does your OC celebrate their birthday? What is their wildest birthday story?

she usually celebrates her birthday with peter, ned and may! her parents do a little birthday dinner for her, but it’s not the same as celebrating with her friends. she usually keeps it small – just the four of them. they always go to the movies first and then have dinner with may before going back to peter’s apartment to have cake up on the roof. it’s a cute tradition tbh

her wildest birthday story would have to be when they decided to go all out for her sweet sixteen. peter, ned and her all went to this suuuuuuper fancy restaurant in manhattan and pretended they were upper east siders ala gossip girl (she made the boys watch it over the summer). they dressed up really nice, ate some amazing food (put it all on her parents’ credit card), but then acted like total idiots during the cabaret show. it was one of the best birthdays molly ever had.

They walked down the street together, her listening to him chatter on about Liz. To be honest, she wasn’t even really listening anymore. Mostly because it was the same stuff, just said a different way. It had become a hum of white noise while they walked. 

“Maybe I should tell her I’m the Spider-Man.” now that got her attention. She stopped walking and looked at him like he was stupid.

“You can’t do that.” she said in the same tone as the look on her face. His brows furrowed for a moment, considering what she said.

“Why not?”

“Because…” she trailed off not really having an excuse. But she didn’t want Liz to know; she liked how it was just a secret between the two of them. They didn’t have many things that were just him and her. Ned was always involved or Liz or even May. This was just them

“…you can’t have it both ways.” she finished with a shake of her head and he laughed at her, rocking back on his heels. 

“Yeah, but I can have it my way.” he reminded her before gesturing to the sign above them, “It’s Burger King.” she rolled her eyes as he pushed into the fast food chain – clearly they were done talking about it.
