So Galileo's route confirms that, at least at the time of his route, it is the year 1900 - and probably the summer of 1900.

The world's fair of 1900 in Paris, the Exposition Universelle, is referenced by some townsfolk...and more specifically, the Great Paris Exhibition Telescope of 1900. Which was an astonishingly large, astonishingly ineffective telescope created more for show than for any serious scientific pursuit. (Much to Galileo's disdain, of course 😂)

Protip for the writers of ikevamp...

In a romance story, for the love of god, do not make us sit through four chapters of (albeit interesting) backstory in which our main couple characters do not exchange a single word or even exist in the same space. What. The actual fuck.

And now I'm supposed to buy I guess that they're gonna be head over heels for each other by chp 24 so they can fucc, when thus far as of 23 they last talked when he tried to kill her back in 18.

I want to buy this couple but so far there's like....zero reason for me to.

It's been a while since I've watched something Ikevamp related. So, I was surprised to see your latest post about Galielo saving MC. Did something happened to MC in the past as a child? Was it only mentioned in Galileo's route or was it in the prologue? Also, hello!

Oh hey Nonny I don't know how I missed this??? I'm so sorry!

As far as I know it's just addressed in Galileo's route, but I can see why it wouldn't have been mentioned before. It's something that happened to her as a little girl in modern-day Japan, where she was nearly run over by a vehicle. Galileo, who happened to be in the future at that moment because he can travel through the door and spacetime freely and at will, dove in to knock her out of the way and save her life.

In return, as thanks, she gave him an origami crane which he still has to this day in his desk.

When she first meets him as an adult (and this is something consistent throughout his early events as well) she has a strong sense of deja vu or that something about him seems vaguely familiar...but she was too young at the time of the accident to have a clear memory of whom her hero was. All she remembers is that some man saved her, at risk to themselves, and she bears a scar on her forehead that is usually covered by her bangs from her injury. That event inspired her to always try to live her life paying it forward and doing whatever she could to help others. <3

The collateral damage that Galileo's chp 13 POV has just inflicted on me cannot be overstated 😭

Not the flashback to him saving the little girl in modern day Japan, so overwhelmed that he finally, finally was able to save someone. Able to make a difference, able to intervene and prevent tragedy after failing so many times.

And not him realizing that MC is that same girl, here from the future via the doors. Which means he realizes that one the person who has had the most impact on her life - who saved hers, who created the doors that brought her here to the past and all the residents, that fundamentally altered the trajectory of her life MORE THAN ONCE...

Was himself.

And the one person who can stand in the way of his plans, his life's endeavor, his Armageddon?

Is her.

How ironic indeed, Mr. Galilei.
