No one’s POV

Lucifer was a wreck after his divorce with Lilith. Becoming the shell of the man he was, going from a family-oriented to a man who barely talk to anyone. After visiting his daughter and her hotel, he knew he had to be there, he already missed so much he wasn’t gonna miss another second of it. Becoming the best father he could also meant moving on, it’s been seven years since the separation. Charlie knew her Dad had been in pain since the divorce but she could tell, he was trying and she was going to be there.

Lucifer’s POV

“Charlie, are you sure about this?” I ask still hesitant, I knew Charlie just wanted to help and had the best intentions, but a dating app?  “Of course!” Charlie exclaimed, face lite up. “It’s perfect! You get to meet people without the face to face interactions!” Charlie said downloading the app, viva by Voxtech.

Charlie’s was more excited than I was, I wanted to meet people but an app? I can’t help but feel my heart race and my body get heavy, why was I this nervous. In the middle of my overthinking Charlie handed me the phone, it had a profile made it had my name and many details. It felt like I was giving it to all 9 rings of hell! “Ok! How we gotta add some photos an-“

“Charlie!”

We both turned are head to see Alastor and Vaggie standing there. “Can you help with something real quick?” Vaggie ask seeming annoyed. “Of course!” Charlie’s called back before as standing up. “You go ahead and add those photos dad I’ll be back!” Charlie said as she ran to the two, leaving me alone on the couch staring at the screen. 

I read over the info and it all was so…personal. How would anyone be comfortable putting this much out? I Don’t get me started with being the King of Hell it’s self, then an idea popped in my head. I turn my head slightly to see Charlie still talking to the pair so I decided to take matters into my own hands. I added photos of my duck inventions and made a duck with a white top hat as my ‘icon’. Now onto the name, Lucifer was too out there everyone would know, think! L names that are similar.

Luca! I instantly think changing the name quickly, removing the last name from the profile along with it. After that it looked like a normal profile. When I finished and satisfied with it Charlie was walking back over. “Sorry bout that dad! Now back to w-.” While she was speaking I shove my phone in my pocket and stand up. “No it’s fine! I set it up!” I nearly screamed it out as I stood from the couch. Charlie stared at me shock for a moment before her normal bright smile returned to her face. “Wow that’s great!” She said as she walked over “Look at you getting the hang of technology!” Charlie said happily. I didn’t know why I was so nervous by an app, but it was on my mind. After finishing talking to Charlie I was able to leave, soon I was back in my bedroom. I let out a sigh and feel onto the massive bed and pulled out my phone, Viva still open.

Y/N POV

Left..Left..Left..

God this app was a never ending app of swiping left on people wanting hook-ups was tiring. This was the last time I’d take F/N advice and use a dating app, the fact they exist in hell was already surprising. It was nude after nude of people looking for a hookup. Then something different popped up, instead of the naked body I almost have gotten used to, I was greeted by a rubber duck with a white top hat. My eyes widen a bit as I layed there I swipped to look at the second photo, more ducks. I then moved and read the bio. “Luca..” I said quietly to myself reading the short info. I looked at the photos and the bio, it stood out in the sea of profile, i stair a while longer…

…Right.

“CONGRATS! YOU GOT A MATCH!” Popped up on my screen in red shades, with the little duck icon. “…that was quick” I think to myself. I click on the little message option.

Lucifer layed there looking at the profiles, this was dating. More like brothel. He could barely understand, after swiping left a few times he chose to just turn off his phone, it was a mistake to think an app could help. Almost as soon as Lucifer sat his phone down his phone went off, illuminating the room …then it went off again.

Lucifer raised an eyebrow picking up his phone to see two notifications, both from Viva. Seeing a match with someone named Y/N and a message from them. Lucifer felt himself lose the ability to breathe, “A match?” Lucifer asked himself, confused on what that meant, he open the Add to be greeted my the words “CONGRATS! YOU GOT A MATCH!” And the icon that belong to Y/N.

The icon was a photo of Y/N. Lucifer’s eyes lit up and he finally let out a breath. He admired their features. Their H/C H/L that looked perfect, their E/C eyes drew him in. He clicked the image see their profile, he was greeted my a normal photo of you, it stood out. Lucifer saw the message illuminating in corner of the screen, he let out a breath and opened the message and saw a simple

Y/N - “Hi :)”

Over the past few weeks, Lucifer and Y/N talked every day. Learning every little detail of each other. Lucifer learned about your job, your friends, how you lived and how you died even. He couldn’t help but want to know everything.

Y/N learned he had a daughter and that he’d been “recently divorced”, his words not theirs. Y/N learned that he loves ducks and creating new duck toys, he was a big dork, like a big puppy dog. Of course you didn’t know you were talking to Lucifer himself, you thought you were talking to a man named Luca…

During Lucifer’s now frequent visit to his daughter and her little Hazbin hotel, Charlie couldn’t help but notice how her dad was one his phone more then usual, usual being never. Naturally, Charlie was curious. “Sooo..” Charlie started, a little unsure what to say about her fathers new found internet obsession. “Who are you talking to?” Charlie ask curious.

Lucifer was quick to meet his daughters eyes and quickly put his phone face down on the table . “No one!” He said in an almost scream, before it buzzed again..and again…and again. Charlie eyes went between her dads now sweating face and and his phone. Before Lucifer could even react, Charlie reached for his phone. “Wait!” Lucifer said reaching for his phone from her hands, the phone screen lite up and Charlie was greeted my 4 notifications from someone named Y/N from Viva. Charlie gasp turning quickly turning to face him, Charlie’s face lite up like Christmas lights. “YOUR TALKING TO SOMEONE?!” Charlie squealed from excitement, since she helped set up his password she quickly opened his phone to see more.

“Charlie don’t-“ Lucifer started to say before seeing her face fall from its happy to confused. “Wait..” Charlie said looking at his profile, “why is your name ‘Luca’?” Charlie ask her eyes moving from his phone finally to be greeted with Lucifer’s red face “well…,” Lucifer started, “I wasn’t comfortable putting my name and photo on there so…I put a different name and photo.” Charlie’s face went from suprise to more annoyed, not angry, just disappointed. “Dad you can’t just do that!” Charlie said to her father, her free rubbing her face. “You can’t just catfish her!”

Lucifer looked confused, catfish? Like the animal? “Catfish?” Lucifer asked, truly not understanding the term. “Yes dad you can’t just lie about who you are to someone like that!” Charlie said scolding her father. Lucifer after that was able to put two and two together, the weight of what he’s been hit him like a bus. “Dad,” Charlie said letting out a sigh, “you have to come clean to them.” She said as she handed him his phone. “Char ITS not that easy!” Lucifer said taking the phone from then hand seeing them newest text, her caring words, them asking if he he’s eaten, remind him to take care of himself, her word hit his heart hard. “It’s not a normal situation, I’m the king of hell, not some random sinner!” Lucifer said he eyes not leaving the illuminated screen. “Dad, they’re gonna find out sooner or later, it’s better if you do it now, early into you talking then later..”

Lucifer stated quiet, he knew deep down she was right, he did truly like them and want more with them, he could only imagine how you’d react if he waited much longer it’s already been a few weeks… Lucifer let out a sigh and looked up at his daughter. “your right..” he said quietly, “I’ll tell them just…give me time..” Charlie stared for a moment before letting before smiling again. “Just do it soon dad…” Lucifer knew she was right.

Later that night Lucifer layed in his bed, looking at her last message, contemplating how to tell them, shoudl he texted it, no they’d think he’s joking, “maybe…” he though out loud. “A FaceTime..?” He asked himself, no, he didn’t even know how to start one… maybe…a date? You’d know he wasn’t lying about being satan himself, he could explain better then over a device and he could only imagine how beautiful you were in person… Lucifer looked down at the message you last send hesitation purged his mind, but slowly he began to type.

Luca - hey, can I ask you something?

Y/N - of course ask anything! :)

Luca - I was thinking he could go out sometime? Like a date going out.

After a a minute he saw you typing a new message. He could already feel his heart race a mile a minute, he felt a cold sweat form. Why was he so nervous? Then a little buzz when off, it was you he was hesitant but swipe to open the message.

Y/N - wait really? You wanna go on a date with me??

Lucifer swallowed the lump in his throat before typing with shaky fingers.

Luca - yes Y/N I really do.

Y/N - Yes I’d love to!! ❤️

Lucifer’s eyes lit up seeing you answer in only seconds, he can’t help but feel his heart flutter at the simple heart emoticon. Soon you both planned to meet for dinner the next night at a nice restaurant, named killer appetite, closer to the center of pentagram city, then he hit him…you both were actually going on a date. Together…

Y/N’s POV

When I saw his message asking me out, I could have screamed. He actually wanted to see me! I quickly typed and agreed to it. We chose dinner at a nice high end restaurant closer to the center of the city, I’ve heard of the place it was up scale. I was so ecstatic.

The next day at work couldn’t have gone slower, it felt like every minute was a hour long but as soon as that clock hit five, I was out the door racing home to get ready.As soon I was ready, my hair and outfit was perfect. I was quick out the door to the restaurant. On my way I received a message from Luca.

Luca - hey! Placed a reservation under L.M.

“L.M?” I asked myself, wondering what it meant, maybe his initials? I smile and replied ok,only a few minutes later I was at the restaurant, even though it was only 7 the restaurant was lively, full and packed. I walked over to the hostess stand.

“Hi, there should be a reservation for L.M?” I felt nervous, a mix of because of how busy it is and meet him…when I said the name of the reservation the hostess gave changed a mix of nervousness and excitement. “Of course! Right this way!” She said trying to put on a happy face but the nerves over shadowed that, she let me to a table already set up in a quieter area, almost completely different from the bustling atmosphere of the restaurant. “your server will be with you shortly, please enjoy!” She said as she raced out the room. I staired at the entrance way confused, why was that girl so nervous, and to have such a secluded area on a Friday night, it was unusual…

I sat down at the table that faced the entrance way. I pulled out my phone to text me.

Y/N - Hey! I just sat down! We have a really nice table, are you almost here? :)

I saw he read the text but no reply, I felt nervous again, my eyes kept watching my phone, my mouth was dry. But then I heard a voice “sorry I’m late..” the voice sounded nervous. I look up to a short blonde man. My eyes widen and my mouth is dry…

And even then, there’d need to be a gap in time, because I don’t think Sand would get over it too fast.

To be fair I doubt it would be him getting over Ray fast but I do think if it is in the present it would be him trying to forget about Ray in the moment. Will it work? Most definitely not but I can see him trying to move on by having a one night stand simply because it’s what he was doing at the Halloween party. This NC scene is giving me more anxiety than it should I almost wish First didn’t say anything lmfao

I can see Sand trying to forget about Ray, but it's all very dependent on context. If it's just a big argument and no official breakup, I can't see Sand hooking up with anyone else. I realize I might be putting too much faith into Sand's morals, but I just can't picture him willing to pursue anything else, even a one-night stand, if he thinks he and Ray have a shot, even if their relationship is in shambles. Now, if Ray cuts things off again and leaves Sand where he was in Ep8, then I could see him going forward like he did with Freddie Mercury man. Given Sand's own relationship history, I think he would have to be very separate from Ray for this to happen, with a pretty clear-cut "we're not together anymore."

Idk, tbh I'm conflicted. There could definitely be a scenario where Ray tells Sand to go and never come back, and Sand has a hook up to try to get over it. But Sand seems more the type to me to curl up and cry for a while before getting back in the saddle.

I don't want to jinx it, but I feel pretty solid that the NC scene is a flashback. Maybe I'm just trying to manifest, idk. But the way I see it, if SandRay are destined for a happy ending, with three episodes left, the Sand-hookup drama would just add more layers to a conflict that already feels pretty loaded. Plus, if the NC scene is with Boeing, idk how that makes sense in the present when Sand clearly has beef with both Boeing and Top over what happened. I don't think Sand would immediately hookup with the guy who cheated on him.

182 Days of TPN - Day 143

Chapter 143: "Eliminate"

I still hate Him so much for this. I know the reward had to be something important and that Emma couldn't refuse it, but her memories bro? And to be separated from her family? Damn it, like why did it have to be both at once? I always wondered what would've happened had Ray managed to arrive at the day & night alongside Emma though, like would the reward apply to both of them? Or would demon god figure out some other way to make them both suffer? I imagine Ray wouldn't take the memory lose part too hard; he's had quite the traumatizing childhood, I'm sure there's many things he'd be happy to forget, which just makes the whole situation more upsetting.

Hayato mentions that Don, Gilda, Ayshe & the dogs haven't noticed the device and while I can believe that being true for our GF duo, I can't imagine Ayshe or the dogs not hearing Hayato click the button repeatedly with their sensitive ears, especially when the panels indicate the device is making a relatively noticeable sound.

Demons parents! Crazy to think they've been absent longer than Norman, if only by a little bit. (Isabella still has the longest gap between appearances.)

Had a hard time remembering if Don & Gilda even met up with Sonju & Mujika before the GF raid during season two, but they did during ep8 along with Emma & Ray, so of course that means we missed out on this nice reunion with just the four of them since RE takes most of the spotlight.

I appreciate the tiny detail of showing Sonju take off the lower half of his mask. And with how fond of demons Ayshe is, I would've expected her to show a little more enthusiasm that they finally found who they were all looking for but we see her act more friendly next chapter.

Not at all upset at it though because she does finally notice Hayato & Jin make their moves and warn our demon parents about the potential attack. Certainly they're equally surprised to hear the warning as they are to hear a human speak their language.

Can't deny that Jin & the Adam clones moved pretty darn quickly to get here though, even for those large kids to get up high in the trees like that too.

Dude thinks he's slick and really has Ayshe pinned. That's cute. She can (and does) take him down in an instant, not to mention she could probably order the dogs to assist if she really needed them to.

Y'all really thought that a couple large kids and a set of two year olds were enough to take down Sonju? Norman may have smart ideas most of the time but this surely isn't one of them.

New episodes of this show never fail to drag me back into its fandom, but this episode in particular, S2 EP6, hyped me up for the future of the show. Using information about past uploads, I’ve predicted when we may expect to see some of these episodes for the ladder part of S2! This is something I did for fun, just wanted to share. :)

RELEASE PREDICTIONS :

I’ve gone back and looked at the release dates for previous episodes to map out possible months, and even specific days we could expect a new episode. Again, these are just my predictions. This isn’t me complaining about the wait for the new episodes, I am happy to wait for a show of good quality like this one.

The S2 dates paint a better picture of the schedule the team is going for as of now, so I’ll mainly refer back to them. We aren’t using S1 episode 8, because that was finished ages ago and just released recently.

5/6 of the current S2 episodes were uploaded on a Saturday.

4/6 of the current S2 episodes are more or less 2 months apart.

Looking good. It seems like S2 will be divided into two sections. S2A, and S2B. Meaning there will likely be a waiting period in between. S1 was not cut up like this, so we don’t have a reference for what this could look like. For now, let’s go off of the break between S1 and S2.

S1 was left temporarily unfinished after the release of episode 7 on October 31st, 2021.

S2 began on July 30th, 2022. There is no way for us to tell if this gap was intentional, or if it was slightly altered by the delay of episode 8.

But we’re going with it. This is an 8 month gap.

The team loves to upload on Halloween, and I am willing to bet that S2A will end on October 31st.

GAP the Series ep 10 thoughts (spoilers!!)

Belated reaction post to yesterday's episode! It was such a sweet episode but I don't actually have much to say.

I guess the main thing that stood out to me was how it sort of felt like steel-spined, resilient, assertive, socially graceful Mon hit the end of her rope this week. Her apologies to Sam in the early part of the episode were super toothless, especially compared to how much thought she usually puts into how she communicates. Until she turned it around with a whole-ass wedding, she basically wasn't even addressing why Sam was upset, she just kept trying to cutesy her way out of Sam's anger/hurt. It felt really uncharacteristic for Mon, and made me concerned that her belief that she's a fundamentally unsuitable wife for Sam runs so deep that she can't actually talk about it.

Like when Mon fake-fell to make Sam run and check on her, I actually thought she was going to take that opportunity to get on one knee and propose, but she didn't, she just... made Sam fuss over her? Which feels like it was less about defusing Sam's anger like she claimed, and more about proving to herself that Sam still loved her, lol. Which then made me wonder if Mon was planning on proposing in that moment, but chickened out, couldn't actually do it right then, when Sam's affections felt at all uncertain. She needed the reassurance first.

Mon draws so much confidence from her own feelings - her love for Sam is a constant source of strength and inspiration for her - but it feels like she has no object permanence when it comes to how crazy Sam is about her in return, how necessary she's become in Sam's life. Which makes sense for so many reasons, and also made Grandma's visit in this episode the worst possible timing ever. Idk I just really felt for ep 10 Mon. She powered through her doubts and hosted a beautiful wedding, only to have The Lesbian Traumatizer thrown in her path a single day later.

Glad that Sam was gentle with her. Glad that Sam keeps growing and getting better control over her impulses (for instance, when she went looking for Mon and saw her with Nop and a little of her instinctive jealousy leaked out - but JUST a little!). Also glad Tee and Yuki were there for the wedding, but damn I'd be mad if I was Jim/Kade that I wasn't invited too lol!

Other quick notes:

Proud of Nop and his woke awakening. Kirk's stupidity takes me aback more and more every week, like I genuinely cannot distinguish what's malice and what is pure thoughtless idiocy in his choices, so it is important man representation that Nop is doing his reading and actually evolving as a person!

Nueng was a really interesting figure. I wonder how much of the authority figure Sam learned to be at Diversity was modeled not on Grandma and her heiress housewife lessons, but on fiercely independent, softness-is-weakness, "I make my own rules don't cross me" Neung.

TeeYuki series please please please. Tee dumping Yuki in the pool in the background of a scene? Make it the foreground. PLEASE.

Manifesting Cher and Risa joining the gang somehow before the series is done. They can still own their hotel they should just drive down for occasional Chaos Friend luncheons alright!

Think that's all. Beautiful episode but I guess my head is just as empty as Kirk's right now, alas.

ep8: -this is cool to watch with the context of nico back in f1 today -theres just something so funny about when drivers get told something they dont wanna hear over the radio and its just dead silence. theyre real for that tho -nico/cyril jet "therapy" conversation is so iconic TO ME -i now know how alain prost is yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy -i think both of daniel's one year teammate tenures (nico & estie) are both sooooooooo interesting. ship wise fascinating. underrated as hell. -neurodivergent daniel propoganda "nico huuuuuulkenburg" is 100% a vocal stim -ESTIE my beloved. the original Toto Wolff's Special Lil Guy™ -no its so nice to see him in this gap where it was all up in the air knowing how much he's cemented his place in formula 1 now. (like i KNOW that alpine is a shitshow rn but he could easily find another seat. even if not he's made his mark :) -this makes me excited to see nico in the new season. he makes pretty good tv and it'll be cool to see how much of that has changed with age! -another narratively well done episode. nico's only episode and a wonderful one. i also noticed the music a lot, i think they way they used music to build tension was rly cool and not something i've noticed in general. really really good episode

ep9: -"george, i think, is a one-in-a-million driver" claire i LOVE U. ur brain is so big and correct -hes such a BABY here -i really really need a return of a williams focused episode next season. badly -claire you are so strong and brave for surviving this shitshow i dont know how yall did it -i wish this episode was put earlier in the season, i dont know why they didnt? since it focuses a lot on preseason/testing drama why is it episode 9? i know its never perfectly chronological but they couldve at least tried

ep10: -the pierre v alex narrative is so silly when clearly red bull sees them as disposable. like babes neither of you are EVER gonna be enough because youre not max :/ like 2 women fighting to be the favorite mistress of a man who will NEVER leave his wife!!!!! -"if [mclaren] continue this trend, they could be competing with the likes of red bull, possibly ferrari and mercedes for podiums" i just love a good quote that ages well. thank you will buxton -this sebchal crash is SO canada 2010 sebmark coded TO ME -the dread that filled my body when i realized. oh this is the lewis stops alex from getting a podium episode. pain incoming -seeing how happy pierre is abt the podium is So Nice knowing whats coming!!!
