Greenwich Village Rowhouses - Preview

I needed a Test Lot for my Fences and so i quickly whipped up a bunch of Rowhouses.

They are based on late Federal Style Rowhouses (maybe the Cornice is a bit too tall...looks more like Italianate Style this Way...)inspired by similar Houses around Washington Square Park.

Maybe you are wondering about the Gap between two Houses.

Well,i decided to leave one narrow Rowhouse Lot empty to turn it into a Community Garden because there isn`t much Room for a Backyard.

This Lot will contain 6 separate Apartments (dividing the 2 real Rowhouses into 3 Units each).

But not all is lost,i will keep a Backup with the empty Spot to add another House later,or for you Guys to build your own Townhouse into this Gap (wouldn`t this be a Fun Idea?I will upload this 3x2 Lot WITH the Gap between the old Rowhouses and you can fill it on your own...)

Also have a Look at this cleverly designed fake Basement i created.It almost looks like your Sim could walk down the Stairs to go into the Gardenlevel Apartment,but as far as i know,Sims won`t walk on warped Floors (edited with ConstrainFloorElevation)

But the fake Basement looks cool,doesn`t it?

Coming soon - Manhattan Sylvan Terrace

I finished another Rowhouse Lot,this one was based on these Houses (klick me,i`m a Link)

I tried something new with this Lot.If you compare the Facades and the rear Side with each other,you will notice that the rear Side is taller.

Well,here`s the Secret:This Lot comes with a sunken Backyard.

Two Levels are above Streetlevel while one is halfway below Streetlevel and has the Backyard on the same Level.

This is actually the Way how most Rowhouses are build (btw.the Basement is even deeper in the Ground,one Level below the Gardenlevel,interesting,isn`t it?),sadly TS 2 gives a damn Hoot on how Things work in real Life.
