OC-Tober day 2: New OC

Lieutenant Commander Nyvos, chief engineer and second officer aboard the Swiftsure. Notoriously prickly and hard to get along with, with a legendary hatred for small talk. Underneath that though, he is subtly playful and very dedicated to his work and those under his command.

He's really not nearly as upset about his current predicament as he is pretending to be, although the cat hair is a bit of an issue. Bonus:

The return of the tired middle brother to Ingo and Emmet no one asked for, Aubin. Generally a chill dude, but he harbors a seething caldera of rage with in him due to years of working a service job.

OC-tober day 6: Symbol

Not entirely clear from this but my very self-indulgent Naruto OC is very heavily associated with dragons to me. Gonna see this dude again potentially for a very obvious day 19 prompt.

OC-tober day 8: Past

Little kid Nyvos after the ship he was born on was boarded and mutually annihilated by Klingons (the Klingon ship was destroyed in the ensuing firefight) and he was left the only survivor by virtue of his father having shoved him in an air vent when the red alert sounded.

He was found later by a Vulcan scout ship that stumbled across the derelict ship and took him in, eventually bringing him back home to Vulcan after required attempts to contact Romulus to return him were ignored.

I love Turquoise October's music a lot in splatoon and it keeps annoying me that there is zero canon information on members or what they look like so I have decided to take matters into my own hands

this is Hal and Eye-bo, a duo who work together to make the diligence-inspiring music of Turquoise October. Eye-bo is the ideas guy, Hal is the hands guy.

Most of what Hal largely comes up with are the more low key songs like Inkstrike Shuffle, Octoling Rendevous, Octoweaponry, and Buoyant Boogie. Eye-bo adds more bounce and pep with his contributions, especially in Eight-Legged Advance, Tentacular Circus, and Cephaloparade. Callie did some collab work with them while she was mind controlled, which is why they sound much pop-ier and have her vocals woven into their second album.

Regardless, both consider the other's contributions on all the songs equal and won't take credit for specific songs or segments, because they know Turquoise October wouldn't sound the same without either one of them.

anyway that's the info I've come up with on them, this is entirely my own personal indulgence here.

OC-Tober Day 1: Favorite OC

It was hard for me to choose a favorite, and really I don't think i can. However, have an angel of death doing some mild intimidation tactics

presenting something no one asked for

since emmet and ingo are very much parallels with the twins and reshiram and zekrom, my brain decided it can't rest until the Tao trio is completed with a third brother to represent kyurem.

so. enter Aubin.

middle child syndrome to the max, and absolutely zero drive of his own. does excellent when given instructions though, and incredibly reliable so long as there aren't extra decisions involved. goes along with what the other two decide, and suffers extreme decision paralysis when asked what he wants to do.

isn't very competitive, so he doesn't participate in the battle subway. he keeps the standard trains running, and he is Tired of dealing with the general public. he does have a team of his own (umbreon, cofagrigus, magnezone and vanilluxe) and only uses them when needed, but also doesn't really know when to stop and is not above simply overwhelming troublemakers into compliance, lawsuits be damned.

a bit of a slob but not really on purpose. he just Doesn't Get It and he's got an assistant who is fixing his uniform constantly. lives separately from his brothers for his own mental health bc they keep trying to get him to tiebreak their discussions and will wait the eternity it takes for him to make a decision while his panic steadily increases, staring at him the whole time.

100% just a silly thing I needed to get out of my head. also he climbs into cofagrigus as a prank bc his Pokémon wouldn't hurt him, and his brothers fall for it every time.
