Fredbear and Friends: The Lost Episode
so on the candycord server we were discussing what Fredbear and Friends could be like, and I asked “what if there was a lost episode creepypasta?” so me and @littlepuppetbear decided to write a couple, here’s mine, with a lot of elements from DKtDW uhhhh let me know whatcha think, love to hear.
Does anyone remember the cartoon Fredbear and Friends? It started airing a few years ago. It was about on par with most cartoons around then. Colorful, not much substance. Then again, I may be biased, I’d rather watch… Other things. My brother however, couldn’t get enough of that show.  He’s not with us anymore, let’s say. He used to watch it everyday though, and I found myself getting sucked in from time to time.    I didn’t even knew they still played it until a few nights ago. I couldn’t fall asleep, I’ve been having rather nasty nightmares lately, so anything to distract me was welcome. I settled in on the lone armchair the house had with my usual popcorn accompanied by a cup of tea. My father had one of those tvs with a dial, which was why I was more than a little upset when I had to get up, after blindly patting the non-existent coffee table to my right. God, I’m tired, I thought as I switched from channel to channel.     Nothing struck my eye, until a familiar theme song started playing. I struggled to focus my eyes on what the tv was showing, but I could already tell. Fredbear and Friends. I smiled, the fact that the rest of the week seemed to be bringing up old memories, it just seemed so fitting.    However, maybe through pure exhaustion, or the old junky tv acting up, but as I was sitting back down, I could’ve sworn the familiar tune was playing slower, more distorted. I chalked it up to the tv acting up, it wasn’t uncommon with this set. The theme song finished with a frame of the whole cast together, and the titlecard “saying sorry” appeared.    I chuckled, most of these episodes were structured around some important moral kids needed to learn. This was no different, I could see. Static cut in and out, I leaned over and gave the top of the tv set a firm punch, in an effort to get it clearer. It seemed to work, and the episode started playing. I can’t remember much about the show these days, I’m unsure why, but I’m almost positive I hadn’t seen this one before.    It started typically, with Spring Bonnie strumming a banjo on his porch swing accompanied by Fredbear. Freddy came running to the two, crying. However, Freddy was much lighter, almost the same shade of golden brown as fredbear. His eyes were eerily dilated as well.    “Freddy, what’s wrong?” Fredbear asked. The voice actors did their best, but never quite matched the actual animatronic’s voices, so Fredbear wasn’t the same as the one I knew, but close enough. “Foxy scared me again! Then he pushed me into-” The static swelled up again, overthrowing the whole scene. “It really hurt my neck!”    Freddy sounded strange. Almost like a child. I mulled over maybe trying to sleep in the armchair instead of continuing to watch. I was much too tired if my hearing was messing up like this. But I kept on, whatever this had in store couldn’t be worse than what I was already dealing with.    Fredbear invited Freddy to sit with him, and asked kindly “What did he say?” “Nothing!” Freddy continued to cry. “He just laughed!” This made me uncomfortable, though I don’t know why. Fredbear smiled warmly. “Looks like Foxy will have to learn how say sorry.” I must’ve really been losing it then, because it looked as though Fredbear… Was staring at me.    I blinked hard, and he wasn’t, instead he was hugging Freddy. Spring Bonnie had also started hugging the bear. It cut to Foxy, but he was off as well. Not any way that I could pinpoint, but his little tuft on the top of his head was longer and wavy, but then again, maybe that’s how he always looked. I couldn’t remember. I can barely remember anything lately.    He was sitting on the ground, laughing, accompanied by Bonnie and Chica, as well as a normal Freddy, bringing this episode’s count to three strange Freddys. Fredbear came over to them, his smile present, but instead of his regular cartoony piano teeth, they were zigzagging, like a shark’s interlocking jaw.    “Well hello-” Static filled the screen again. “-ady to pay for what you’ve done?” Suddenly, the laughter had stopped. Everyone but Foxy was gone. He looked scared.    Fredbear lunged at him, his normal cartoony hands replaced with threatening, metallic claws. “This is what you get-” More static. “It was you-” “-you shall pay.”    Before the static completely overtook the screen, I remember seeing two images. The first was what could only be described as a terror-filled and sleep deprived picture of myself, not far off from me now, and the faint image of a mask with purple tears and red cheeks. The white noise that came with the static gave one last hurrah in what I could’ve sworn to be something like “Save them”    I couldn’t dwell on or process these events until now, as I had to rush off to work. All I can say is, I think I’ll be sticking to my regular programming after this.
