kristoph doesnt know how he ended up letting phoenix spend so much time loitering around his office. but over and over again the man would saunter in like it wasnt the middle of the workday and distract him from his duties in one way or another.

to make matters worse phoenix isnt nearly as inconspicuous as he should be, and kristoph had already halfway resigned to the fact that his colleagues were going to notice. if an office full of attorneys in LA hadnt noticed phoenix wright of all people then kristoph was hiring the wrong lawyers. even so, he was entirely unprepared to overhear "did you see mr gavin's boyfriend in the foyer? i know! i almost didnt recognise him with the beanie! i think his daughter made it" from down the hall.

kristoph freezes. phoenix, his boyfriend? what a ridiculous thought, he could almost laugh. well, no matter, let them think what they like. in fact, if people think they're so close it could serve kristoph well if he plays his cards right... maybe he should play into it a little.
