IT VARIES but my usual range is 3-6 actual drawing layers and then a bunch of overlay layers ! :]

(this isnt counting the second sketch layer which i usually delete after the lineart is done . idk why i leave the thumbnail there i think i get sentimentally attached to it)

tbh . many things. i am very insecure abt my artHDGEJD to the point where i sometimes feel guilty taking comms. i push through it & try not to whine but U KNOW HOW IT IS. a lot of the art i enjoy looking at is very different to the art i produce. so idk maybe more detailed + polished... i wish i was capable of being neater? but my hand simply does not move that way.... every time i try using thinner lineart i'm like this is it. the end of my career
