while  part  of  her  feels  like  his  anger  is  somewhat  justified  —  at  least  on  the  part  about  her  being  a  coward  —  part  of  her  can’t  help  but  wonder  if  she’s  correct  in  thinking  that  maybe  nothing  good  can  come  out  of  them  giving  this  another  shot.  while  their  time  together  contained  some  of  her  happiest  memories,  their  relationship  was  also  characterised  by  moments  like  this,  where  shouting  and  finger  pointing  were  rampant  and  it  made  her  hate  herself  for  who  she’s  become.  his  last  comment  makes  her  scoff,  though  inside  her  heart  is  breaking.  shaking  her  head  with  disbelief,  she  tries  to  contain  herself  but  fails  miserably  as  her  eyes  redden  with  tears  pathetically.  hands  on  her  hip  as  if  it  would  be  enough  to  anchor  herself,  she  looks  away  for  a  moment  to  recollect  herself  before  her  disbelieving  stare  falls  back  on  him.  “you’re  still  such  an  asshole.”  and  she  means  every  word.  she  hates  everything  about  this,  hates  that  he’s  right,  hates  that  she’s  missed  him  so  much  despite  the  heartache  the  ruins  of  their  relationship  has  caused.  “you  don't get  to  lecture  me  on  how  to  live  my  life  when  you’re  the  one  who  broke  my  heart  first.”

lance & lucy.

Unsurprisingly no one in Lance’s life is a fan of this relationship. It’s actually gotten to the point where his friends or sisters don’t even wanna hear about whenever Lance has relationship problems with Lucy. Audrie detests it all together and thinks Lance is wrong for dating a taken woman and Gemma is an instigator. Gemma feels bad and regrets introducing them. Theo is pretty much only like "as long as you're happy man" and tries not to get involved in the mess.

At least little kitten Hemingway likes Lucy! Lol. Though I feel like that's the only thing she cares about.

Now that they're both more comfortable in their relationship, whenever Lance feels bold he likes to bring up Lucy's boyfriend and be like "oh how's he doing?" just to annoy her and try to get a reaction. At this point he's generally moved on from the lovey dovey phase and is more focused on returning the same energy she gives him.

imani & nick.

Imani is very close to her family and loves the idea of Nick meeting them! Her family lives across the country so she often goes on FaceTime or video chat with them. She’s introduced Nick to her family members through her video calls and it’s very casual and fun.

I like to think Imani’s little brother (Eli) gets along really well with Nick and considers him a friend! Eli is a very kind and goofy person, so he would definitely try his best to get close to Nick and make him feel welcome! I can definitely see him following Nick on social media and always replying to his stories or commenting on posts.

So far her parents like what they know about Nick, but they’d like to get to meet him in person and get to know him better. Imani’s dad likes to jokingly be tough on Nick and be like “I hope you're taking good care of my daughter!” and silly comments like that. He means well though.

Imani has a dog named Lulu who’s very lazy and cuddly. She loves Nick and tries to lay with him as often as she can. (Also I think I saw something about Nick having a pug? Maybe I’m wrong? If so, I think about them walking their dogs together a lot <3 )

luci & astur.

Honestly Luci hasn’t told anyone that she’s secretly married, just out of personal reasons. She isn’t ready to reveal that to the world and doesn’t know if she can trust others with that secret just yet. Not until their relationship becomes something more stable or until Astur is comfortable being in the public eye.

The only person who has an inkling of an idea is Jett, who quickly caught onto Luci sneaking around and being secretive. Luci mentioned it to him, but only said she was "seeing someone" without any specific details. He hopes he could meet Astur one day even though he doesn't know *anything* of her.

There's not much to say, since Luci and Astur live a very private life when it comes to their relationship and likely haven't told anyone. Although Luci's dog Riot absolutely loves Astur. I feel like the treat him like their son <3

The minute they make their marriage public, I love the idea of them doing a cute one on one interview with Astur as the interviewer. Which is basically them just flirting with each other.

jett & harlowe.

Everyone in Jett's personal life knows their relationship is fabricated for the press, so they usually don't think much of it or have strong opinions. Except for Luci who doesn't like Harlowe, based on how she treats Jett. His fans are obsessed with them as a couple.

There’s no romantic feelings involved, at least from Jett’s end but he’s started to kind of like her as a friend. He thinks of their banter simply as their thing and their dynamic, and doesn’t get offended whenever she’s mean. That’s just Harlowe being Harlowe asjkl

Both of them are gamers, so they definitely game together and have bonded over that! Jett likes to do weekly livestreams for his beloved fans, so I’d imagine he’s invited Harlowe on once or twice. Ofc his fans lost their shit (in a positive / excited way ).

Also lmao, thinking about Shayne constantly bugging Harlowe about any ‘hot single friends’ and her being completely mean to him about it (deserved tbh). Everyone else in Mystery Ink cheered tbh.

random / miscellaneous !

Everyone in Audrie’s family loves Luca! Lance and their dad have taken a liking to him very quickly on. They definitely invite him out for golfing trips whenever they’re free. Lance in particular likes to converse with Luca about wines and fancy whiskey. They have a good rapport. Gemma would love Mikey and constantly spoil him / buy him everything he wants.

Dean loves his mother and calls her all the time, he’s definitely gushed over Isa many times and has told many stories about her. His mom wants to meet her!

Also, I like to think Dean & Isa’s friends get along really well with each other and have a lot of fun together! They definitely throw small parties and plan fun trips and such together.

Miyoung has this grumpy old cat who hates everyone, I like to think he just angrily stares at Flynn from a distance LOL. Miyoung constantly reassures Flynn that it’s just the cat’s face and that he likes him (probably not true).

I read that Duygu is close to her niece, so I like to imagine they and Trinity hang out together for girls days – lunch, shopping, and possibly getting their nails done together.

this is sooo cheesy but concept: I know quinn and sterling don't have the best family lives, so imagine them being very loved and respected by the yoon family and taken in as one of their own <3 crying.

adding onto that, gemma would make quinn her best friend and bond over all things cute and girly. if quinn liked something in her closet gemma would probably be like “go ahead and have it!”

　　Being a stand-up comedian sucked a lot of the time, particularly without a good crowd. Laughter, or noise in general, was what kept Sanjay going during a set, for obvious reasons. But not only did very few people show up tonight, none of his bits hit, and the most he got were a few low chuckles from the crowd. As was also rare, Jay couldn't get off the stage fast enough.

　　He sat at the bar, his head hanging low as he nursed the IPA in his hand. If he wasn't drunk before his set, he certainly was now. Turning to the nearest patron, he asked, "Am I funny?"

alice didn't know what time it was, though the sun had been far gone, and the stars had begun to shine. or maybe the sparkles that floated around were simply the street lamps reflecting off of the rain soaked pavement. either way, it all looked the same through her tears. it was the only beautiful thing in the middle of her crappy night, and as it all got darker, colder, alice realized she was too far to walk home alone. but she did know someone who was close. cautiously approaching their steps, she knew she should turn and run, but her rational had gone out the door with her last whiskey sour, and she was desperate enough in this moment to let herself be made an even further fool today. knocking on their door, her breath hitched as it opened, and it was evident alice was shivering, on the verge of tears again. "i— i'm sorry, but my phone died, and i couldn't call an uber. and i just... i didn't know where else to go."

who is more excited for halloween? - duygu! trinity has never been easily excited for holidays... until duygu came along as made them fun :')

who gives the best gifts? - trinity, she really notices the smallest things about people and their interests (and willing to spend a lot) so she does a great job of reading people & gifting things that people always love.

who sings along to the radio the loudest? - I feel like duygu would! trinity hates her singing voice and tries to keep it below the song she's singing.

who actually finishes a book they’ve started? - I'm leaning towards duygu! trinity prefers web articles and magazines over a book.

who falls asleep during a movie? - both! they both have busy careers, so I'd imagine they both have those exhausting days where they just fall asleep after dinner/during a movie.

who plans a surprise getaway vacation? - neither, lol. these are structured ladies of routine! the idea of planning a vacation together is just as fun to them as the vacation would be.

who comes home with useless decorative knick knacks for the house every single day? - maybe not exactly 'knick knacks' but trinity loves shopping (and interior design) so it's not off-base for her to grab a lot of home decor and pieces pretty often.

who takes more pictures? - both take a good amount, but trinity slightly more.
