hi! you said you liked killerpilze, and i’ve been trying to get into them lately (i only know a handful of songs haha) so i was wondering if you have any suggestions?

I don't know what songs you've been listening to so far but one of my all-time favourites has to be Gegenparty simply because of the message behind it. Of the same album (Nichts is für immer, 2019) I also love Nachtronauten, Planet B, and Mutausbruch. Lieben wen ich will is an explicit song about being part of/ an ally of the LGBT+ community. Letztes Leben is also really cool.

SchneeSonneSchnee is one that always makes me cry. (Fun fact: at their 2018 show a girl next to me was crying so hard during that song that I just decided to hug her and we've been friends ever since. Even went to a festival this summer together)

Immer noch jung was what kept me going a lot of days when I was in hospital, knowing that they would always be with me through their music.

Grell is off the first album (of the same name) I ever bought for myself. It's really hopeful.

If you are looking for cute music videos, I can also totally recommend Nimm mich mit. It's so fucking cute. I promise.

On the other hand. If you're looking for something to cry over: Himmel I, II and III. As far as I can tell it's about the drummer's and the bassist's dad, who died far too young. While they were on tour.

Random Middle of the Night Thoughts

- “the good life” by weezer has absolutely no reason to be as amazing as it is, but it is

- bc @robinruns talks about iced coffee every now and then, i’ve been craving this stuff for a while now, and gotten myself some today at the supermarket. I just had a cup. I think it has caffein... so if i can’t sleep later, it’s robin’s fault.

- Me: I wanna walk my dog! the weather: *Rains*

- “Hear me? I want sugar in my tea!” yes, i hear you, and: same.

- my doggo is really glad i’m not dragging him out into the rain. guess i’ll have to get up early tomorrow/today in order to walk him

- today i’ve been told that i’m really brave to still do the dance demonstrations with the dancing teacher i work with. Most of the time it’s more of a “don’t do it like this” ending in me hanging somewhere in the air, or almost falling (but i’ve never been dropped). And i’ve been complimented on my dancing. which is nice to hear. at least now i know that even tho i feel like a fool on the dance floor i don’t look like one, unless the teacher makes me.

-          Cosy red and golds, mixed with dark wood, mismatching furniture, many houseplants, old, dusty books, blankets, soft fabrics, different sized pillows, fire in the fire place, rain against the windows, black tea with loads of milk and sugar

-          Traditional Japanese simplicity, like not much furniture, reduced to the minimum; green tea, organically farmed food, paying attention to the moment, sitting still, just breathing, hearing but not listening to your surroundings, not allowing emotions to take over all the time (blame this one on the zen temple I spent a couple of days at, it was the most peaceful place and I want to go back)

-          Ripped jeans, oversized band shirts, dark lipstick, little mascara, multiple rings on one hand, black earrings made from metal, boots, leather jacket, pins with symbols against Nazis, racism, and for equality and love, speaking my mind, not letting anyone take away the joy for things I like

Von vorne durch die Punkallee by Killerpilze. Simply bc i don’t know it, it isn’t officially published anywhere, only badly streamed versions on youtube. it was their first album, and they recorded it in one of their bedrooms, probably jo’s or fabi’s, i don’t remember...
