A Glitch “Effigies Inconveniens (Ακατάλληλη εικόνα) ~ Ètude IV”

This artwork was created for my PhD research, which was based on a Digital and Analog Aesthetic Research on “Artistic Practices, Digital Art in Social Networks, and Net Art.” The research explored various digital techniques used to create artistic diversity and artificial intelligence platforms. These techniques include the re-mixed appropriation of images or videos and the creation of original data works called creative altered binary code, datamoshing, generative art, and glitch art. These works encompass all forms and expressions of digital art. Additionally, the research focused on artworks that decode the i-frames of images and videos (also known as key frames and altered or distorted creative binary code) and combine them with seductive techniques of Pixelsorting Art. This combination creates an impression of extreme sensitivity and abstraction. The artwork was exclusively created for the virtual gallery online.
