Looking up from his sketchbook, Albedo hummed, tapping his pencil against the paper a couple of times. Rubbing his legs together. He was having, for the first time in a while, an art block. He found he was hungry, but he was also in no position to get up from his spot in his favourite chair. His ankles were swollen, his back sore, there was no way he could get up, that is, unless he had the extreme urge to pee again, then he would. 

His hand left the pencil on the page as it moved to the side of his swollen, bulged out stomach. He was still a bit shocked from initially finding out he would be having a baby, but his boyfriend had been there to help the best he could the whole way so far. They didn’t have much, just a small apartment, small jobs. Well, Albedo himself wasn’t working much now, he was mainly focusing on his college courses. Kaeya, on the other hand, was a trainee police officer, and while it didn’t make too much money, it was enough to keep them afloat for now. Albedo was also trying to sell his art, too, and he got a few buyers, but he was mostly using that to pay off his medical expenses from the pregnancy. 

Feeling around, rubbing his hand over the bump a few times, getting a couple of kicks in return. Feeling that life in him, poking at the raised lumps from where a foot happened to be pressed up against him. 

Blue eyes shot up from his own belly to the door as he heard the lock click, and Kaeya walked in, shutting the door behind him. He had two bags in his hands, smiling to the blonde across the room. “Hey, I brought dinner, I hope you didn’t get too hungry waiting.” He announced, walking over and moving Albedo’s sketches off of him to the side table before sitting on the coffee table in front of him. 

“Mm, no, not too badly. I just haven’t been able to get up. What did you bring?” Now that his curiosity was piqued, Albedo was trying to see what was in the bags, Kaeya chuckling and pulling them closer. 

“Well, I brought you something you said you’ve been craving!” Albedo was now even more interested, trying to lean forward to see, but he felt a bad ache in his side and fell back again with a wince. Kaeya stood up, gently rubbing his side and whispering to ask if he was alright. When Albedo assured him everything was fine, Kaeya sat back down and continued. “Well, here we go, French toast! And, you also mentioned being in the mood for some mushroom pizza, so I picked you up a little one.” Kaeya explained as he handed off the bags to his partner. 

Smiling, Albedo unloaded the items from the bags, going right for his French toast. He currently had a sweet tooth, and he was happy Kaeya was able to remember the things he asked for. After the other fetched him a fork, Albedo went straight in, happily eating while Kaeya pulled his own food out to eat. 

“How was work?” The blonde asked, and listened to the response he got, nodding here and there to show he understood and was listening. When Kaeya finished, he asked Albedo how he had been today. “Well, I’ve been pretty bored, but I’ve found ways to keep myself busy. Doodles, television, playing with the baby. Otherwise I’ve been in a lot of pain, so I haven’t left the chair much. I really have to thank your brother again for this, he’s so generous..” Kaeya scoffed as he watched his boyfriend wiggle around a bit to find a more comfortable spot. 

“You thanked him enough, I don’t know if he could take anymore of your positive energy. He feeds off of the darkness.” Kaeya teased, covering himself from the light and hissing dramatically. It made Albedo laugh a bit, before he curled up his legs a bit more. “Are you cold? Here, let me get you a blanket.” Albedo nodded, setting his food to the side while Kaeya draped a blanket over his legs and middle, resting his hands over the baby bump he had come to adore the last few months. “I can’t believe we only have one month to go, look at her…” Kaeya got down between Albedo’s legs, placing a kiss on the bump. “She’s so big already, I’m sure she’ll be so perfect…” 

Chuckling softly, Albedo nodded, threading his hands through Kaeya’s soft, navy hair. He could feel the baby kicking at Kaeya’s peppered kisses across his belly, which just made him chuckle a bit harder, eventually turning into short laughs, despite some of the pain that accompanied each hit against his taut skin. Even though it wasn’t planned, and they never intended on this life, it was still so fun, and so exciting.

you pulled the restless Kaveh out of his room engulfing him in your arms as you took in the scent of his perfume, but you felt a sense of unsureness in his body language

you brought him over to the table keeping your hands clasped in his as you ate snacks, Kaveh stared at your interwined hands what if she'll leave me? she won't get mad won't she? we aren't even a couple yet a child is too much for us. until he finally decided to speak up

your eyes perked up at his words and shot up to embrace him, a sense of relief washing away kavehs anxiety as he returned back your embrace tears perking up in his eyes "are you happy about this? I mean we haven't even made our relationship... official yet" a shake of approval notified Kaveh of your response a warm smile on his lips as he laid there on the couch with you spending the night with your hands caressing his soft growing belly

as the pregnancy went on for a few months now Kaveh has been having troubles with his breasts hurting, spurting out milk whenever and wherever causing him to spoil his clothes which annoyed Kaveh to the fullest

he decided to use this and resort to letting you suck on his nipples to relief the pain and fullness of his growing breasts

ever since his pregnancy Kaveh's clinginess has grown to higher levels, locking you up in your shared room for you both to cuddle and hibernate for hours and even days, keeping you, your warmth and your scent to himself and enjoys having your head near his belly to feel the baby's kicks and to hug his belly each and every night, would sneakily mark you with hickys every now and then just to mark you as his

keeps making up excuses to not let you out of bed my body feels numb, my bump aches, my feet are cold etc etc and you would fall for his trap everytime, when you have work to do kaveh tries his hardest to hog you all to himself but let's you go knowing you're working for both him and your baby

would steal your pillows, blanket and clothes whenever you're away, finds comfort in your scent whenever he feels alone and would make up a fort of your stuff on his bed just to feel like you're there and lays there for hours till you're home

moody would get sulky whenever you're home late or just not by his side in general and gives you a displeased look when you go inside the room in guilt, but would immediately change his mood when your arms are wrapped around his needy body while being wrapped in your soft pillows and blankets together

although Kaveh has strange pregnancy cravings he always insists on cooking his meals by himself, finding satisfaction in cooking food for you everytime and seeing the delight on your face when tasting his home cooked meals and would loved to be drowned in compliments would get "mad" at you if he ever finds you cooking by yourself when he wakes up to smell of food he would still eat your food wholeheartedly

very insecure of his body during and after pregnancy, the huge bump in the middle of his once set of abs, thighs have gotten a little bit more thick etc etc he needs assurance that you'll always find him beautiful and gorgeous like you did before "I'm not as fit as before.." Kaveh let's out a exaggerated sigh as he tried on his clothes before pregnancy, the button of the top unable to close cause of his heavy set breasts and bump, you instantly sat up from the bed to pull his body close to yours mouth breathing near his neck "my love you're as gorgeous as ever nothing will ever change that, every day i see your face and i keep falling in love all over again." he lets out a flustered sound at your words, cheeks and ears growing red and hot at your display of affection and relaxed against your body, a sign of content escapes his mouth "I love you... Im glad you were the one for me." Kaveh placed a kiss to your lips like a flustered teen giving their first kiss and rubbed himself against you comfortingly, Kaveh feels grateful to have been given the chance to be with you for the rest of his life now like how he has always dreamed of.

I've been dabbling in Genshin, yes, haha-

Nothing about being in countless battles, fighting wars, getting stabbed in various places, could have ever prepared Gorou for this part of his life. Nothing at all, ever, could have prepared him to deal with three screaming babies at once. Pregnancy, in the first place, was a shock, but he knew he was in for it when he started showing a lot bigger than he should have. At first, he blamed his boyfriend, Itto, for being so tall. It’s just one big baby, not to worry, right? But then, when the kicking started, there was much more activity than just one baby. Only two! That was fine, two was the perfect amount of children to have! But when the birth came around, and after the first two were born, the contractions were still coming, and he started to panic. 

Three. Three babies, all at once. He was fine with it for the first couple of months, happily lying in bed with his babies, making sure to feed them at the crack of dawn, staying home while Itto went to do work and get money for them. The first few weeks, Gorou had bared his teeth at even doctors who came to check up on them. 

But, after doing his best to raise them so far, he was at a standstill. Teething? He could deal with that! All he had to do was give the kids frozen berries, and they would feel better. But there was a much bigger issue. Horns. The kids were born with their ears and tail, like Gorou’s, but they didn’t have any oni horns like Itto. At first. Because as they grew, so did small bumps on the upper forehead, which were now very red and painful to the touch. As much as Gorou wanted to help, he couldn’t. They would nudge their heads on his or Itto’s limbs, knock heads, and get hurt when their shirts were being put on. Even at night in bed, their pillows would hurt them, and there wasn’t much Gorou could do for that. 

Wrangling all three of his kids in his lap, Gorou was trying to get them dressed. They couldn’t walk, but they were very active, they would try and get away at every point. They were also all red faced and crying, while their father tried to slip them into their clothing. Looking up, he saw Itto enter the room, freshly washed, hair still damp. “Hey, please help me out with this?” Gorou asked, obviously tired as the oni walked over with a smile, picking up his baby and giving her a kiss on the cheek before trying to help get her clothing on, while Gorou still fought with the two boys. 

“Itto, what helped you, when you had your horns growing in? I’m sure you were told all about it…” Gorou asked, finally letting out a sigh when they finished getting their children dressed for the day. 

“Well, my horns came in a really long time ago, and.. I don’t really remember that time of my life! And my family probably told me, but I was more than likely embarrassed about it and blocked it out.” 

When Itto looked over next, Gorou was giving him a death glare. He had been hoping for a good answer, and in the end, his boyfriend disappointed him. Once again. “Why did I decide to have a kid with you? You are just! No help at all sometimes!” Gorou stood up, dumping the boys into Itto’s lap before putting his hands on his hips. “You’re going to sit here, bond, and I’m going to go find some answers somewhere!” 

It took a while. At first, Gorou visited the library and asked for books on pain remedy. He was directed to the section, where he read book after book, with little to no help for the most of it. So, without help from books, Gorou decided to do this the easy way, going to a local shop and asking for a pain paste, one more recommended for children. He had to buy a large amount, to cover all three kids for a bit, and it cost a pretty penny, but anything to be able to have a moment of peace. 

Upon arriving back at home, Itto was doing silly things on the floor with all three babies, letting them crawl over him, gently rolling them around, back and forth. Gorou smiled, going and sitting on the floor by him and telling him about his researching, and landing on a hopeful remedy to the pain their children were in.

Which genshin make character do you think makes the most sounds I.e screaming, begging, sobbing, groaning, panting etc… during birth?

My personal bets would be on Aether. He just seems like he would just be such a wreck when he goes into labour, panting and groaning with each push, begging the doctor there to pull the baby out.

He probably starts sobbing quietly when he gets told he can’t push, but he's quite submissive and listens to the doctor.

Bonus points in that he’s also super shy during labour because the doctor likes him bare, a bunch of people are holding back his legs staring at him as he pushes. His noises seem even louder because the room is so quiet besides him. 🥺

Poor baby has some of the most painful births.

How about I do you one better and give you an in-depth review of all the male characters and how loud I think they'd giving birth? Is this entirely too long and unnecessary? Yes, but who the fuck cares. Hopefully, I didn't miss anyone. Also just a reminder since we don't have canon ages, everyone here is assumed to be 18+

Mondstadt Albedo

5/10 Starts off very calm and collected. He's focused on his goal, and he's done plenty of research on the matter at hand. So confident in fact, he only asks for assistance from Sucrose, and feels it completely pointless to reach out for help from any midwife or doctor. About halfway through, he starts to get more vocal, with low moans and heavy pants. It certainly is more intense than he expected. But the time he's he's on his knees pushing, he's full-on cursing and pleading for it to be over. Never gets to the point of screaming, but he's certainly not quiet.

Bennett

8/10

It doesn't take much to get Bennett to start moaning and groaning in pain. Sure, he's got shit luck, but his pain tolerance is awfully low. He seeks out help from the local doctor and is chastised several times for being too loud and frightening other patients. Gets on his hands and knees to push, screaming the whole way through, no matter how much the nurses tell him to quiet down.

Diluc

2/10

Quiet. So quiet it's almost concerning. The baby is nearly crowning before you so much as hear a whimper from him, and even then he's deep breathing his way through it. Occasional soft moans, but only when he thinks no one can hear him. The doctors are rather impressed with him. Kaeya

Stubborn fool, refuses any and all medical assistance. Handles the first part of labor with only a few groans and annoyed huffs. Gets more vocal as it goes, pacing around and rocking his hips to help the baby move lower. Never full-on screams while pushing, but there is a lot of yelling and swearing and threatening. Mika

Handles the first half of labor and most of the middle pretty well. Pacing around his room, chatting with the nurses. However, once he starts to transition it's a whole other situation. He's on his knees, screaming bloody murder begging for someone to make it stop. The nurses have to haul him back into bed and pin his legs down to keep him from kicking the doctor in the face. Razor

Razor just returns to the woods when he feels his labor starting. Doctors make him nervous, and he doesn't want a midwife either. Might not be the most sanitary thing, but the woods are where he's most comfortable and this is where he wants to have his baby. Lots of low groans and growls sound more feral than painful. Only starts to shout a little as the head begins to crown, but even then it isn't all that much.

Venti

6/10

Shockingly not as bad as you'd think. Honestly, I feel like Venti has had a lot of kids over the years, and maybe it's just because he's been through so much, he's pretty chill through the first half. Once the contractions start ramping up, he's huffing and puffing, moaning and groaning. Lets out a few screams while pushing, but always seems to have rather quick births. Never seeks out medical attention.

Liyue

Baizhu

6/10

Very calm at first. He's delivered many children in his time as a doctor, so he's not at all unprepared. He sips on tea and slowly breathes his way through each wave of pain, closing his eyes and bracing himself. Once he starts to push he gets more vocal, shouting and crying, exhausted and weak. He doesn't have the physical strength to push the baby out quickly, so he's struggling for a good long time.

Chongyun

7/10

He gets pretty loud halfway through, mostly moaning. He can't sit still, constantly getting up and down, squatting and kneeling. Everything is just so uncomfortable. The midwives help him, but when it comes time to push they have to keep reminding him to stop screaming, it's only wasting his strength.

Gaming

Has no pain tolerance for this. He's already crying as soon as labor starts and doesn't stop the whole way. The doctors have to strap his legs up for his own safety as he keeps tossing and turning while trying to push, desperately shutting his legs to keep the head from popping free while he screams for them to just pull it out.

Xiao

1/10

Jesus Christ he barely makes so much as a whimper. No one even knows he's in labor till he's reaching between his legs and lifting a crying baby into his arms. Catches everyone off guard, all they heard were a few soft pants and deep breaths.

Xingqiu

Starts off very collected and together. His family hires a well-known midwife to tend to him, but like Gaming, he has no pain tolerance. He's screaming and moaning from start to finish. His legs had to be held back because he refused to push, the pain was just too intense.

Zhongli

1/10

Like Xiao, you aren't going to have a clue until he's literally pushing his baby out into his hands. A few low moans maybe, and some deep breathing, but Zhongli is literally a stone wall while in labor.

Inazuma

Arataki Itto

6/10

Not loud in a screaming way, but his moaning is astoundingly loud. Long, low, and drawn out, he's moaning through each contraction like it's a lifeline. Chatters away between contractions but as soon as the pain hits, his head is down and he's moaning away. A few yells and cries as the baby is born, but never a real scream. Gives birth alone, the doctors and midwives don't want to deliver the child of an Oni.

Gorou

7/10

Gives birth with the aid of Kokomi. She's helped deliver babies for others in the army before and was thrilled when Gorou shyly asked her for help bringing his pups into the world. Gorou is very shy about making too much noise and stifles it through most of his labor. However, when it comes time to push, he's a wreck. Shrieking and shouting, trembling all over with tears running down his face. Doesn't help he's got at least three pups in his belly waiting to be born.

Kazuha

4/10

Mostly quiet, but he does start to pant and moan near the end. If he wasn't around the doctor of The Crux he would most likely be louder, but he feels too embarrassed to be making a scene. A few cries as the baby is born, but it isn't much.

Kamisato Ayato

3/10

Stoic through most of the birth, mainly because it's expected of him. As head of the family, he can't go making a scene with a bunch of screaming and crying, so he's forced to keep it all inside. Slow, even breathing, and a couple of deep, throat moans while actively pushing.

Heizou

6/10

Very typical birth honestly. Seeks the help of a doctor in Inazuma and follows instructions nicely. Deep breathing, low moans, and a few panicked screams as the baby starts to crown.

Thoma

5/10

Like Heizou, he's very typical. Follows the instructions of the midwife the Kamisato family hired to tend to him. Paces a lot, and tries to keep cleaning even while in labor. Starts begging for it to stop while in the transition phase, and gets louder from there on out. The midwife gets onto him multiple times for being too dramatic.

Sumeru

A lot like Xiao and Zhongli, he's extremely quiet. He's a little more vocal at the end while pushing. Mostly grunting his way through each push, and gasping for air as he finishes. Not much else though, the doctor and nurses tending to him are very impressed by how well he handled it.

Cyno

The moron gives birth out in the middle of the desert because he refused to be fussed over. Tighnari has to go out and find him but fails to drag him home before Cyno is moaning about the baby coming out right this second- A few loud shouts and the baby is born, very quickly.

Kaveh

10/10

From the second his labor starts, everyone knows. He's moaning, groaning, crying, screaming, panting, gagging all of the sounds you can imagine. Swears he hears a nurse mumble something about taping his mouth shut at some point. The whole hospital is trying to get him to calm down, he's not even halfway through, but Kaveh just cries harder. Has to be held down while pushing because he kept flailing about, screaming bloody murder the whole way.

Tighnari

5/10

Very calm about the whole thing. Like Baizhu, he's delivered babies before. Mostly on accident because no one else was around to help, but still, he knew what to expect. Has his pups at home, very good about steady breathing and not wasting energy on being noisy. Only starts to get loud at the end, because like Gorou, his kind have litters and one baby is hard enough to get out, let alone three.

Dead silent through most of it aside from some labored breathing and quiet moans. Does scream some at the end though, while the baby is crowning. He gives birth at home with his siblings, they wouldn't allow anyone near him anyway.

Lyney

6/10

Much more vocal than Freminet but not overly loud. A lot more huffing and puffing, waddles around their home the whole time until he can't stand any longer. Definitely starts screaming towards the end and while pushing, his pain tolerance isn't as high as his siblings.

Neuvillette

4/10

Will not allow anyone near him while he labors. He's shut off from the world, held up in his house. Shuffles about, but mainly rests in his bathtub, the water keeping him calm. Slow, even breaths, a few moans here and there. Cries some while pushing, but never gets much louder than a shout.

Pretty much the same as Neuvillette, but gets more vocal towards the end. A lot of moaning, very loud and guttural. Let's the medical staff at the prison take care of him, and because of his rank, no one makes any comments on how loud he's being.

No ones anything about what this man does in private, and honestly, it's probably better that way. In all seriousness though, he's very quiet, scarily so. It's like he doesn't even feel the pain at all.

Starts off very collected and slowly breaks down into a panicked mess. He doesn't handle pain well, and by the time he's pushing, it's all screams and swears.

Handles it very well, with lots of slow breathing and pacing. He's been there for the birth of his siblings, so he's fully prepared for what's to come. Gets a little loud while pushing, but never more than a few deep moans.

Won't let anyone near him. Most of the moaning and screams are coming from panic over pain, a lot of flashbacks to what Dottore has done to him over the decades. He'll never admit just how much it hurts, but he's very vocal regardless.
