i mean i guess it’s because it is (or was) primarily aimed at children and the first animal crossing came out in like? 2001 i believe? which was still a time of translating stuff to make it more appealing/relatable to the target language’s audience? plus the original names aren’t english anyway but japanese so who knows what the thought process behind the translations/changes were

there’s a lot to “achieve” in the beginning, tho it’s obviously very much open to whenever you wanna finish it. the shops will get added one by one. villagers will ask for favors, later on will want to visit you or ask you to visit them, give u nicknames. writing them letters makes them really happy too! keeping the town “clean” and balanced with pwp’s will make villagers happy too!!

there’s daily and weekly challenges that make you able to earn the currency you need to buy special items from the campsite!

Yoo, dragon age 2 is SO GOOD. easily my fave out of the series and really popular in general too. but yeah it’s weirdly hard to come by? i think you can get it on steam, though?

there’s definitely only the first one on steam and the internet says II was only available for a very short time after the release

to the anon asking about good pills for period cramps - i've found that the "Dolormin für Frauen" (nice cissexism there) work pretty well (since ibuprofen etc do shit-all for me), they're painkillers especially for period cramps and mine are really heavy so maybe be on a lookout for those at a pharmacy ?
